Great group of travellers, enabled good connections to be made. Guide was friendly, helpful and socially great. Good organisational skills. Although, he could have provided more details about Croatia and Slovenia. Eg long periods of silence on the bus where some information would have improved our understanding of the area.

The locations chosen were fabulous! There was a variety of landscapes and mixture of urban areas each with their distinctive cultural elements. Improvements could be made by having the tour guide give suggestions of places to visit in each location and pointing out sites of interest on route. We were often left to figure out where to go and what was good to see! He was good on suggesting places to eat! All people in the group should be provided the same standard of room. In Dubrovnik all were given a room with a view except us, and we often had the noisiest or smallest room. Our group leader did his best to resolve this but hotels often said they were fully booked! I think if one group dinner was provided at the start of the tour that would assist with bonding the group members. Having two back to back days of over 300km each day was a bit hard. Maybe that could be looked at. Additionally, having 2 hours for lunch in small towns is not needed. More flexibility here would be good. Overall a very good tour where we saw amazing locations and met wonderful people! Thank you!

A well constructed holiday, visiting wonderful and historic places, great tour leader and guides. The bus driver was a good driver but lacked some professionalism.

Pretty much everything. 35 great people on our tour, with an unflappable guide Filip who just delivered on every front. Together with our driver Slavic we felt safe and the priority in this tour. The TAD tour was a pretty comprehensive package of iconic locations along with a few less known out of the way places, we expected this and it delivered. The camaraderie on our bus, humour and the interaction between the group and guide was key to its success. Accommodation was also excellent. Additional guides in many of the locations made the visits a feature, with a lot of background and history shared. For us visiting the sites on our journey is only part of the even, learning from knowledgable guides is essential. Overall we lived every aspect of the Beauty of the Balkans tour…

The Balkans countries are fantastic, the people are amazing, very rich in history and culture, the old towns / palaces / castles / national park / caves are wonderful. We built camaraderie with our fellow Aussie travelers (Yellow Team), got to know a bit about each other, had laughs, friendly bantering and fun. Great bunch to travelled with. We also have an amazing, very efficient, organised, very helpful, funny and knowledgeable guide, Zeljko Mihic (a.k.a. Jake).

The second part of the tour was much nicer than the first part. I'm very glad that we did the tour from Sofia to Zagreb rather than from Zagreb to Sofia, as the places we visited and the accommodation got better as we went, not worse. Fotini as our guide & Robert as our driver both did a fantastic job and made the tour very enjoyable.

A very interesting cultural experience encompassing 3 countries - Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia. The scenery was amazing - Plitvice Lakes, Dubrovnik by the sea, caves in Ljubljana, Lake Bled in Slovenia- all amazing. I found Sarajevo sobering, medieval castles intriguing and towns interesting. A great experience.

Our guide Jorge was affable and knowledgeable and guided our group with a sense of fun.. Our driver Pero was also excellent, we all felt very safe and he cleaned the bus and windows daily. Thought that it was a good idea to have a 2 day rest but don’t know if Budva was the place. I would have preferred more time in Split or Dubrovnik. Overall think the hotels were a good standard, the ones in the countryside a little less so. Enjoyed the pace of the travel and the sights were amazing.

Very well organised. All hotels 4 star, except in Europe they all turn off the air con at end of summer, and even in October some of the rooms were slightly too warm. Loved Plitvice National Park and the stay in the quaint Ethno House Cabins. Enjoyed visiting Kotor and Mostar. Excellent, knowledgeable guide Kristina, and felt safe in the hands of driver Vangelis. Enjoyed flying with Qatar Airways.

The itinerary was good, the tour leader excellent. Generally accommodation and breakfasts were good to very good

The overall co-ordination of our tour was excellent and stuck closely to the pre-provided itinerary, the guides were informative and good communicators, the quality of the included hotels was pleasing, the cruise on MSC Seaview was amazing and we enjoyed the Dubai stopover on the way home from Europe, and are glad we took up that option. The flights with Emirates were great and the overall value for money of our tour was awesome. We also really enjoyed the company of our fellow tour participants and felt that 38 people was a good number of people for our coach group.

Scenery was fantastic. The tour guide( Billie) and driver were excellent- both knowledgeable and entertaining. Another day in Sophia would have been fantastic- such a beautiful city.
