I’m new to TripADeal, what is Trip Only?
Trip Only deals are designed to give our travellers more flexibility by giving them the option to book their own flights. If you select a Trip Only deal, you will need to arrange your own return and airport transfers.
Why would someone want a holiday without the flights included?
Booking a Trip Only option has plenty of advantages for different travellers.
- You can lock in the deal at a great price and secure the dates you want, then book your flights later.
- It allows you to take a tour when you’re already abroad, like adding on a second tour to a dream holiday when you’re away, like seeing a different part of Europe or Asia.
- You can meet friends and family overseas and they can join you on the same tour.
Why are you offering Trip Only options?
As we grow and evolve, our travellers have requested more flexibility around how and when they get to destinations. We already offer Arrive Early and Stay Behind options on most deals, but with Trip Only, you can opt to book your own flights. On select deals, you can choose the ‘Trip Only’ option under Departure City to remove the airfare.
Do you still offer flight-inclusive options?
Yes, offering amazing holiday packages that include flights is still at the heart of what we do.
Do Trip Only itineraries include airport transfers?
No, since Trip Only deals do not include return international flights to and from your destination, airport transfers aren’t included in the price. You will need to secure your own passage between airports and your hotel.
Does Trip Only still include internal flights to get between distant points of the itinerary?
Yes, if there’s an internal flight within the duration of your itinerary to cover large distances between points in the journey, these flights will continue to be included. Any internal flights or travel will be specified on the Trip Only deal page. Flights to and from the starting and departure points of your tour are not included in Trip Only deals.
Can people overseas (like friends and family) join a Trip Only itinerary?
Yes, Trip Only options are perfect for these situations. You have the chance to book with or without flights and your friends or family members abroad can choose the option without flights. It’s a win-win.
How will I know what itineraries offer a Trip Only option?
To find out what itineraries offer the Trip Only option, simply look out for the labels on our web page:

What happens if the tour doesn’t go ahead and I’ve already booked my own flights?
TripADeal will not be liable for any costs you incur if the tour does not go ahead due to minimum numbers not being met. As such, we strongly advise that you do not make any non-refundable travel arrangements until receiving confirmation from us that the tour has met minimum numbers and will proceed.
