Loved everything about the trip, was so full. Highlight was seeing a leopard in a tree with its kill, how they climb a tree at the height it was at, with a whole feast was jaw dropping.
Loved the people, hotels staff and above all the you guide and the bus driver. Quality of the hotels and cruise were below average with exception the reed hotel
We loved the itinerary for this trip, our tour guide Kara Franklin was so friendly and really took care of all our needs. Our Driver Nathan was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about Canada, Him and Kara worked well together. The bus was always kept clean as well. The only thing was one of the first hotels didnt have a lift which made it hard carrying our luggage's up. Most hotels were clean and comfortable. I felt we saw so much of Yellowstone, Canada and Alaska . Maybe some of the stops were a bit rushed, but I realise we had a lot of Km's we had to cover. Overall we loved the trip and our group was fantastic to travel with. The only thing I didn't like was the 7 hr wait at LAX airport before getting on to our 15hr flight home to Sydney.
This was the best value for money holiday that I have taken. We visited wonderful historical areas and experienced the culture of India.our tour guide was very knowledgeable One suggest would be visit is visit shops where you feel compelled to by local products. The highlights was the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Red Fort and the wonder wonderful we ate.
This was a great trip full of amazing experiences. The animals, night cruise in the jungle and the Mari Mari cultural village were all highlights. We had a great group of people and our guide Paul was informative, organised and had a great sense of humour! Highly recommended.
Accommodation and food were all very good Each section of the holiday was very good The only hiccup was slight confusion at our airport pick up but no big deal The highlight of the whole experience was Quan Pham (mr Q) our guide He was extremely organised knowledgeable humorous and very friendly and helpful He made the experience so memorable and enjoyable I can thoroughly recommend this holiday
Hotels were excellent. Everything promised was as stated and superb. Tour guides brilliant and knowledgeable. Free time was excellent and timely. I have no suggestions for improvement
Loved the varieties of the trip and our tour guide was full of information
It was so much more lay back than our last trip loved the things we did & our guide Brendon & driver Adam were amazing , all our group were great & Brendon went above & beyond to try to make sure we got to see as many animals as possible thank you for our amazing trip Brett & Lesley.
The trip was so smooth and well organised with the exception of the hotel in Johannesburg which had changed names (Raddison to Destiny) and did not manage the transfer process well (making us wait for some hours to access our rooms). This was not Trip a Deal's fault I don't believe as the rest of the trip was perfect. Sebatana game reserve was a perfect place to base, and the staff and facilities (with the exception of internet access) was exceptional. Food was amazing, program was great. We did miss seeing some of the Big 5, but that was just bad luck - they are wild animals when all said and done. Loved the experience so much we are already planning a return visit. Outstanding tour guides! Forest and Jojo were so helpful and informative. We couldn’t ask for better guides. The accommodation was a real surprise- large luxurious rooms with comfy beds. Breakfast buffets were all a bit different and we really loved trying different foods. Although there were also western options. Coffee was good and service amazing. We loved the food and there were opportunities to try authentic meals and treats. I would have liked a tour of the silk factory and pearl farm - rather than just the shops & education museum or table set up. There were opportunities to purchase things and some were a little too pushy - but it’s understandable. Didn’t get seats together on our flights - not great for a 10hour flight. Overall, we would recommend this trip. Exceeded our expectations- such good value!
Loved everything, great deal, great places to visit, great hotels, guides and worth every single cent. I liked the Great wall, the Silk factory, the Pearl factory, the Tea factory.
Thank you, Trip a Deal🙏🏼, for the most unforgettable experiences and the best tour groups that feel like family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend.
Good guide. Professional. Helpful. Available. Good driver. Good sized group which got on well. Very good hotels. Visit to Columbo could have been enhansed by offering an evening tour? Maldives very good finish to trip.
Very happy with how everything was run and ut all ran smoothly. We got to see some great sites. Only issue Some of the restaurants we get taken too are pricey compared to local ones
Guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Lisa took us to places and gave us great ideas and suggestions. 4.5 stars
Great itinerary and excellent value for money if you’re after an action-packed trip. Be prepared for lots of early starts, walking and climbing, so a reasonable level of fitness is required. The tour guides were fantastic, especially Edwardo in Peru- knowledgeable, organised, patient and thoughtful. Hotels were generally good and well located, although some could have been better planned around flight times. For example, arriving in Lima at 11pm and then travelling almost an hour to the hotel before leaving at 5am seemed unnecessary; a hotel closer to the airport would have made much more sense. Some domestic flights, such as a 9am departure instead of 6am, would also have been preferable. The Amazon accommodation at Ikam was a standout, with great food, activities and an excellent local guide, Yuri. Overall, a fantastic and memorable trip with just a few opportunities to improve the logistics.
It was the best organised holiday in our lifetime, all tour leaders were great with lots of knowledge and care specially Ecco in Beijing and Ivy in Shanghai. We learned a lot in very short time about China because of all great tour leaders we have already told our family and friends how much we enjoyed this trip and we are planning to go to China and other countries with the Trip a Deal again. China was amazing country with amazing people. Thanks a lot to Trip a Deal which we had chance to see a wonderful country with limited budget. Best regards, Angel & George Abramian
Extremely well organised, many excellent activities, brilliant tour guide
It was wonderful to see what South Korea has achieved since the war and to hear more about the life of Koreans from our excellent guide, Lisa Hong. Lisa made history fun and excelled herself in every way. Hotels were good and the optional tours, especially to the DMZ, were really worth doing. I didn't get to love Korean food. It was good to see that Korea was very different to the many other Asian countries I have visited. The only negative was Jetstar International, where the comfort, food and service was poor. I know it's a cheap option but I would prefer to pay more and enjoy some comfort.
I really enjoyed the whole holiday and was very impressed with the organisation of the trip. I did all the optional extra trips which were well worth it and feel it enhanced the whole experience
The tour was well organised and the leader Tom Pham was excellent with his knowledge and helpfulness. Good variety of activities and options given if did not want to attend.
An absolute breathtaking experience. Loved every moment! Didn’t want it to end.
It was an amazing holiday and would be happy to recommend it to others. The team from Nomad were extra helpful and provided a memorable experience for us. The hotel in Cape Town was very average - I would suggest the Garden Court Victoria Junction is a better option. There are two days of very long travel. An extra night in Maun after the Okavango Delta Glamping would be a good idea, the Crocodile Camp Hotel there was excellent, perhaps fill in the afternoon with a trip to the markets.
Our trip was so amazing and well organised. As soon as we catch our plane to landings to different airports it was so good. From the airports our tour guides are all waiting for us to take us to our Hotels and on the coach we're given instructions and introduction to what city we're going. It was so good all our tourists guides for this trip. Our first guide from Beijing is Forrest Song, wow very intelligent and smart, and from Xi'an we Rocky was also very good and intelligent and the last we had is JOJO from Shanghai wow she's so good and very very down to earth. Jojo was so caring and listened to our needs Can't complain about our trip we're so Blessed having this 3 Beautiful guides who treated us family as soon as we landed... We are looking for another Trip a Deal Holiday soon....Thank you trip a Deal well done!!!
Opulent India was a fantastic introduction to some of India’s top locations, with the luxury of staying in some of India’s best hotels. I can’t fault this trip. Particular thanks and acknowledgment goes to our guide (Brahm) and driver (Chandra) who ensured that our experience was perfectly curated, insightful and safe. The only negative was flying Malaysia Airlines which was uncomfortable and budget range.
Loved everything from our group, upgraded hotel accomodation sights, guide, driver and assistant excellent. Everything was a highlight. Truly memorable experience.
Great locations Helpful guides Echo, Lily and Ivy
Love everything every minute of it. Well organised team. Great tour guys. Very friendly and helpful. More of our free time to walk around will be appreciated. Well deserved Well done.
Loved everything about this trip
Exceptional experience with our trekking guide Suraj and our porters Roshan, Hari, and Balram. Despite the monsoon season, flash floodings and devastating landslides in Nepal - our guides ensured we had fun and a safe passage throughout our journey. Truly a fun adventure meeting the best people, eating delicious food and sightseeing wonderful views. Despite not being able to finish ABC - I will come back with this company in future because they were able to accomodate all the changes in plans and give us a wonderful time.
Maldives was spectacular, island facilities accommodation and island activities were all beyond our expectation.. The island was more than what we expected. All transfers were easy and effortless. Service was very friendly and the food options were very enjoyable. Singapore was also very easy. Well organised and also enjoyable.
The whole experience was amazing. Country side and sights were not disappointing.
Great holiday, fabulous easy, friendly, tour guide Dominic. Loved the places we visited, the variety was just right, travel time was never to long with a little bit of free time to relax or explore more. The pace was great. Most accommodation was good and needless to say 3 night at the Hilton in KK topped it off.
We loved every minute of our trip and there were many highlights! A Bull Elephant on our 1st river cruise, Mt Kinabalu, and every day delivered a new experience. Our guide Kurt Douglas was an absolute legend.
Great value for money, chillaxing and beautiful place!
My highlights were the people of Borneo, who are very friendly and helpful. Our guide, Kurt, was very knowledgeable regarding all things Borneo, especially its fauna, flora and diverse culture. Seeing the Bornean Sunbears was a special treat. Learning about the shared history of Borneo and Australia in the Second World War was probably the most heartrending experience of the entire experience.
Second time to India - returning to show my son. It was how I remembered it - unreal. Great guides. The tour is fun with others. No issues with being hassled or scammed. It’s all negative press. Forget what you see on the internet - it’s no worse than going to Bali. Would recommend staying longer and doing Jodhpur and Udairpur. Easy and cheap to organise transport on Viator etc. Use local Tiuk Tuk to get around. Can also be pre booked.
Despite it being the tail end of the monsoon season the trip was fabulous. We were unable to complete the circuit due to poor track conditions but the section to Poon Hill return was fabulous. Very scenic and it was lovely going through the small villages and getting a glimpse into their everyday lives. Lots of farms and farm animals, as well as shrines & tea houses and schools. The add on to Chitwan NP was brilliant and would highly recommend everyone to do it. Food and accommodation was great and the guide and Sherpas were very helpful and had our safety utmost. Alternate travel plans were arranged seamlessly. Our lift from the airport did not arrive, which was disappointing and stressful but the Nepalese were very helpful in solving this issue for us.
From the first contact with our tour guide in Hanoi until departure for return in Siem Reap, the tour went smoothly. Add on tours were well organised, always entertaining, and were geared to the grouo enjoying local customs and colour. Accommodation and included breakfast and other meals meant we could enjoy local delicacies. The Ha Long boat cruise was scenically stunning, and tai chi on the deck in the early morning was a lovely way to start the day. The Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge with a cable car ride up and down the mountain were a stand out for spectacular scenery and novel 'theme park' attractions. Siem Reap and the visit to Angkor Wat with its centuries of history was fascinating: so tranquil and incredibly atmospheric.
The accomodation was excellent. Our guide was exceptional. He was always considerate, provided information each afternoon of the following day, plenty of bathroom stops and was very informative. Highlights included the elephant safari, our free day in Galle, all activities, and the food.
Most of the hotels were very good. The tour through the mountains was so lovely n the places we visited although we did spend a lot of time in the bus.
The Wellness retreat was very restorative - daily massage, Ayurveda treatments, yoga and meditation. All provided in a beautiful location.
Our guide Dominic was sensational, a great guide. Our tour group was a great group of people who got along very well. This was the first group holiday my husband and myself had ever been on and we really enjoyed it. We are looking forward to another TripADeal holiday.
Well what a marvellous trip ! Trip A Deal do it well. Met others that had been on previous Trip A Deal tours they also raved about your tours. The Tour guides were excellent, the Tour Guide, Eirini, that travelled with us from London to Venice was Exceptional, knowledge, organisational skills, communication & sense of humour ✅️✅️✅️. I'm already promoting Trip A Deal to anyone that will listen & believe I will take advantage of offers again, when Im next able to travel. THANK YOU.
Our trip was great!! It was our first Euro summer and we love the places we went to! We got engaged during this trip, in Alberobello :) We loved our tour leaders and made friends with the others on our tour :) I do wish it was a longer trip.
The places were amazing. People in the group were friendly and most importantly, our tour guide was fantastic. He goes above and beyond for us. His name is Kenta. Thank you Kenta for making my holiday a memorable one. I highly recommend Kenta to anyone. Thank you
We had an amazing trip which was well organised and went like clock work. Our tour guide Grazia was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for her. Our whole group had nothing but praise for her. Every town we visited was a highlight as we were experiencing a new country and its history.
We love the Beijing Experience. Our Tour Guide Angel was amazing. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. 5 star to her. But the only let down in our Beijing experience was the photographers, was kind of a ripoff (he said something with the price and later didn’t fulfilled what was agreed). Overall the Beijing experience was amazing thanks to our tour guide Angel and to our amazing driver. Shanghai was okay. Our tour guide Summer was not as amazing as our tour guide in Beijing.
Loved the scenery in Namibia. Loved the game drives in Etosha and the Okavango Delta. Loved Victoria Falls.
Great tour guide - Phyllis. Very well organised. Saw a lot in a short time. Accomodation was well placed & clean. A good mix of wildlife & cultire
Three weeks of highlights, culture, food scenic sights and friendship. From Sa Pa; Hanoi to Saigon. We were a small group 16; lovely people we made connections. 3 guides, all excellent they gave us the best experiences and help when needed. Vietnamese are kind, patient and honest. Hotels in central position, easy to walk to highlights and enjoy local food and shopping. Would love to go back again.
It was such an amazing experience. The safari was right up to expectation, accommodation, food were all amazing, so many animals. Then to have the break at the very end in Zanzibar- was right point!!! I would highly recommend this trip!!!
I really thought the various tour guides were very good and helped make decisions on the ground much easier to navigate.
This trip delivered on nearly everything. We had great animal interactions and saw the top 5 wild animals in Borneo. The guide we had was experienced, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience and remained safe throughout our travels. The one thing that could be changed is the first hotel we stayed at In Sandakan was only average, We had friends staying in the Ormond and for a few hundred dollars the Ormond would have been a much better introduction to Sandakan and Borneo.
The all inclusive Best of Japan cruise was fantastic, from the JAL flights direct from Sydney to the accommodation at Park Hotel in Tokyo and the Celebrity Millennium Cruise. The cruise itinerary was excellent and the ship itself although Celebrities oldest ship it was great, staff, food entertainment were all good. We were able to plan our own site seeing in Tokyo and all the ports of call, which meant we saw all the sites we wanted to either by public transport or organised tours. The only downside was the tome of year we chose, summer heat and humidity in Japan meant it wasn’t all that pleasant walking around. Japan and it’s people and beautiful loved our trip
The Ha Long Bay trip was really lovely and also the trip to Pu Luong. Our guide Garvan was absolutely fantastic.
Exceptional places to visit Sharm el Sheikh was a very pleasant surprise
Excellent holiday, excellent experience excellent guide, excellent value, highly recommended to other travellers.
The cruise was very professional run and the ports of call were varied and very interesting.
The Best of Borneo trip was excellent value for money. Accommodation choices ranged from Satisfactory (Sandakan) to superb (Hilton @ Kota Kinabalu). Sarah, our local guide, was excellent. We loved her enthusiasm and fun, her depth of knowledge which she freely shared and her constant consideration for everyone on the tour. Food choices throughout the tour were satisfactory with plenty of variety and good quality although the constant buffet style and actual dishes at meals became a little too predictable at times. (This was a minor issue for us though.) Highlights - Undoubtedly the animals, both orphaned and in the wild. Particularly loved all 3 of the river cruises. Found the 'bat cave' totally fascinating. The Mari Mari cultural village was superb. Enjoyed the distinction between the wildlife portion of the tour and the city section at the end. Appreciated the balance between organised activities and free time to explore on our own. Lowlight - The last group meal together at the wedding venue. Perhaps the lowest quality food for the entire tour.
ENTABENI WILDSIDE was a massive highlight the staff accomodation food guide and safari's this whole trip including Victoria Falls met way above our expectations!!!
Very efficiently run, good company, good trip leaders. Perhaps the trip leaders were a little too enthusiastic with organizing feasts which sometimes happened twice a day. I wonder what happens to the waste food, and there was plenty of it.
All i wanted to see from this tour was Orang-utans in the wild, not behind a cage. This tour exceeded my expectations as I got to experience so much more wildlife up close. To witness more than 20 elephants crossing the river was unbelievable. Our tour guide Michael was fantastic and passionate about his country, conservation, nature and wildlife. Thanks also to our wonderful driver Mohammed. The itinerary was perfect going from jungle to river to ocean. It was perfectly paced and did not feel rushed. There was enough free time as well as included activities. I loved the 2 days staying at the river lodge and the 3 boat trips where i saw the Borneo Big 5. The meals included were awesome, I never felt hungry. Accomodation was great and I loved how it was so varied. It would have been nice to have had a tour of the Sabah tea Plantation especially as we were staying there or given a talk and samples of tea. This was my first Trip A deal and will definitely not be my last. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Kristina Love was outstanding! She was interesting, funny, smart, kind and geniune. Her knowledge gave a very good insight into each country and she also had good suggestions and was very helpful.
Ba na Hill was the best.
The only highlight that didn't exceed my expectations would be the Amazon Jungle. I probably expected to see more jungle / wilderness. It was ok but nothing special. The fishing small fishing group on the last day was the highlight of the Amazon Jungle.
From the moment we arrived we were greeted at the airport and everything was taken care of. Stress free holiday. Our tour organiser and tour guides, we’re all fantastic in both Egypt and Jordan.
I loved that everything was organised and I didn't have to do a thing. The communication was great, from Tripadeal staff before the trip as well as the guides, though communication could have been a little better from one of the guides in that she almost seemed reluctant to provide any information that might allow us to deviate from the itinerary or provide information that would allow us to explore on our own. Our guide Angel in Beijing was amazing and seemed completely in control of everything. The hotels were lovely and a good standard, though in Beijing and Shanghai they were quite far / isolated. It would be best if all of the hotels had shops, eateries within walking distance. The flights with Juneyao were great and better than I expected. I did wonder why the tour doesn't start in Shanghai and end in Beijing as this would cut out the Beijing to Shanghai and return flight. Our bus for the Shanghai tour looked quite worn and a toilet on the bus would be a great advantage. The itinerary is great in that it includes a lot however it was a bit too full. An extra half day in Shanghai to explore or rest at our leisure would have been perfect with one of the lakes or gardens being sacrificed to allow this. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this tour even though I returned exhausted, and thought it amazing value for money.
The biggest hight of many was The Kalamantangan River lodge stay and the trips up the river. We were able to witness orang-utans in the wild and a troupe of 30 or so elephants crossing the river. Learning about the Sandakan Death March was also eye opening and disturbing that this is not part of our country's knowledge base of WWII. The Mari Mari Village experience was an excellent day. We were also so impressed with our guide Michael who is not only a personable and experienced guide but so knowledgeable about Sabah, its history and native wildlife. He made the trip a magical experience to never be forgotten. We will be recommending this Tripadeal to anyone that asks.
I loved everything about this trip. No complaints at all. Our tour guides weee the best you could have asked for, very knowledgeable and helpful. There was just the right amount of free time and tours to keep busy with. We were very lucky to have gone at the time of the 50th anniversary of Vietnams freedom. And arrived at Sapa for their autumn festival. Spectacular singing in Sapa and fireworks in HoChiMin. Would recommend this tour to anyone. Well done trip a deal.
An action packed holiday that was so well organised. Our tour guide Sarah was so welcoming and infomative and took such great care of us. Our bus broke down at one point, but we were having so much fun, it really didn't matter at all! Saw all the animals - had a personal (we saw them first and had them to ourselves for ages) close up of pygmy elephants, which was such a highlight. A great mix of wildlife, history and culture over the almost 2 weeks.
We had a wonderful time in Uganda. The tour guide we had was excellent. He went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed as well as explained everything and made us feel safe and comfortable. The wildlife was amazing and our tour guide had a great insight into where to find them. We got to see so many animals in their natural habitat and at pretty close distances. At one Lodge we had Elephants drinking from the pool while visitors were in it. The Gorilla and Chimp trekking was fantastic as well. Getting to spend time with them and watching them play and interact with each other was amazing. The people of Uganda were very warm and welcoming. The staff where we stayed were attentive and professional. The places we stayed were excellent but some could do with more fans or air conditioning as quite warm to try and sleep. Overall, an amazing trip that I would not hesitate to recommend to people.
What a fantastic experience we had . Perfectly timed bound, good hotels
Loved the jeep safari, saw elephants, was amazing. Loved the country and culture, I personally found Sri Lankan people to be beautiful, placid and welcoming.
Being our first tripadeal tour I would highly recommend it to anyone. From the plane ride there to home it was an incredible experience one I would never forget. Highlight of the tour for me was the boat cruise through Ha Long Bay it was amazing. I would also like to thank our tour guide Tam Nguyen the knowledge he had about our tour and the respect, care and patience he showed to everyone was incredible. I will definitely go to Vietnam again I Tam is my guide again.
The Cave at Halong Bay - Halong Bay Boat trip Nim bih - Hotel Reed
Everything worked well. The hotels were great. Bus was brand new. Guide was lovely. Itinerary was interesting and well planned. Loved it.
Well organised from start to finish. Staff very helpful. Guide excellent.
Very well organised at a nice pace with some rest / free time Very informative and a good variety of sight in Vietnam
Adventurous and plenty of highlight
We enjoyed all the trip. Quality guide and team, He was flexible when needed including by happy coincidence a viewing of a once in a year ceremony in Kandy. Wildlife experiences were a wonderful experience. Having only one day of a longer trip was appreciated.
I loved the clean and beautiful scenery, the big beautiful hotels, ease of transport, cheap food, good roads, big lakes, beautiful garden I spent more than $1,500 on silk bedding, traditional medicine, tea and pearls. The silk bedding is the most expensive item that I bought and not sure it its worth it. The traditional medicine is expensive too and don't know it it's worth buying but I just want to try it. I also bought some silk lotion and some jewelries.
Our holiday was amazing. Our guide Dulip was great and our bus driver and assistant were wonderful. The experiences they gave us, as well as the extra activities made our trip more special. The elephants and also watching the Festival of the Tooth were my highlights. We only wished we had more time to explore the villages, like spending another day in Kandy. Stopping to explore more of the local markets and life styles. A few more days in Sri Lanka would be wonderful. Wow, the Maldives were beautiful, we have never seen water so clear and blue. We were so lucky to have an amazing group of people to travel with. We have made some great friendships. The staff at Trip a Deal were very helpful in making this trip come together. Thanks Trip a Deal for your help in making our bucket list come true.
Great variety and tour guides were fantastic!
An Outstanding Tour Director – Kirk Moses My wife and I would like to give special recognition to our tour director, Kirk Moses, for the outstanding role he played in making our trip such a memorable and enjoyable experience. Kirk is an exceptional tour director: friendly, respectful, exceptionally organised and blessed with a wonderfully dry sense of humour. Most importantly, he has an impressive depth of knowledge about every area we travelled through, whether we were passing through, stopping to explore or staying overnight. Last few days we have been through Washington State, Idaho and Montana. Visited Yellowstone National Park. His commentary was informative, engaging and never tedious. Kirk has a genuine ability to bring places to life, sharing interesting factual information in a way that made even familiar locations feel fresh and exciting. He could explain something aome had seen before and somehow make it feel like the first time. Kirk is also a very personable and considerate man. He made everyone feel welcome, included and valued. Rather than simply telling us what was going to happen, he regularly invited the group's thoughts and ideas and genuinely listened to them. He was always willing to offer assistance and did so with patience, courtesy and good humour. When one of our fellow travellers became unwell, Kirk responded promptly and appropriately, putting the person's wellbeing first and helping arrange the necessary medical assistance. His calm and caring response demonstrated that his concern for the group extended well beyond simply delivering the tour programme. Kirk also worked exceptionally well with our bus driver, Warren “Wazza” Woodward. Together, they created an atmosphere that was professional when required, relaxed when appropriate and always focused on making the journey enjoyable for everyone. We were fortunate to travel with a wonderful group of fellow passengers, but Kirk undoubtedly helped set the tone for the entire experience. My wife and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kirk to anyone fortunate enough to have him as their tour director. Our sincere thanks to Kirk for his professionalism, knowledge, humour, kindness and genuine care. He helped turn a very good trip into a truly memorable adventure. Sharon and Paul Martin
One of the best Tripadeal holidays we’ve been on - and we’ve done 20. This truly was an adventure. It had variety, city life v’s Nomad life, the foods etc. our guide Nasa and driver ensured we saw the best sites on route even if it meant crossing incredible terrain. We were able to interact in a very personal way with the home stays and the yak farmers. The history , religion and culture of the country was covered without being a boring monologue.
The trip was incredible. We enjoyed cape town, had the best Italian meal at a place we found online, https://thecousinsrestaurant.com/- great food, service, atmosphere. All the activities provided by the tour were well organised and interesting. Table Mountain View’s were incredible, our guide for the city half day tour, Bradley February, was knowledgable and friendly and tailored his input to group interests. We used our 3rd free day to go to Robben Island, where Mandela was held prisoner. You need to book it a couple of months prior. Well worth it. At the Thamalakane River Lodge we paid extra for a sunset cruise, well worth it. Saw hippos, crocs, birds. The next day was going out in canoes piled by locals on the Okavango delta. Beautiful. We’d not seen many animals but, on our way back, the Polar leader spotted elephants. They made a significant detour and we saw zebras and elephants! In Victoria Falls, seeing the waterfall from the front was wonderful. Our driver and guide, Rana, was excellent. Chobe National Park was also a great excursion, and we saw so much wildlife - hippos, elephants, birds, zebras, crocs, giraffes, lions, impala, kudu, baboons. Robins Camp was the icing on the cake. We saw all animals mentioned already, plus cheetah, a puff adder, hyena, wild cat and male lions. Staff were lovely, our guide Thulani fantastic. The accommodation was good except for a dodgy shower, but we could easily live with that! Some tips - take swimmers, the pool at Victoria Falls was especially good, but there’s also a pool at Thamalakane and Robins Camp. Allow for US$10 per day for tips and take small notes - $1, $5, $10 - as you’re often tipping multiple people in a day (guides, drivers, service staff).
Cong our tour guide was exceptional in his manner, knowledge of the region and his history of Vietnam. Our driver had amazing driving skills and navigated the winding roads and landslides perfectly. Northern Vietnam was so very beautiful. The hotels were fabulous. The tours to villages, waterfalls, monuments ect were great and well organised. My extension to Halong Bay was exceptional and Ni Bin was okay too. Absolutely loved my trip.
We loved the variety of experiences provided with the coach, train and cruise. All went smoothly from start to finish. Pre-trip support from your team was excellent. Accomodation was of a good standard and convenient for local dining options that were explained well.
The tour guides King and Joe were excellent. Great knowledge and full of humour.
We loved every aspect of the holiday from the itinerary to the guides to the hotels. no complaints from us. We were looked after and our needs catered for.
Great group of people on the tour Great guides Food was good. Rooms spacious Tours covered what I wanted to see
Have transfers included. Another thing not to worry about when you’re on holidays. The park hotel was in a good location. The cruise was fantastic, great food, entertainment and exceptional service. The only thing is the ship excursions and spa treatments are so overpriced. Apart from that, the cruise was great.
Our guide was fabulous and his english was excellent, the food was great and the experience of sleeping in Gers was amazing.
Tour guide (Dip) was amazing, he knew everything Nepal was an amazing experience and will definitely be back Would be nice to do bus one way and fly back when going to Chitwan. It’s a long way to do both ways Other than that, it was excellent
Great holiday saw all animals and especially our river trip seeing herd of elephants crossing the river. The war memorial was narrated well and very moving experience, the Manukan island very relaxing and lastly the Mari Mari village also very interesting. Michael our tour guide was excellent and his knowledge of conservation and detailed information every day was exemplary.
It was an intensive trip covering a lot of recent history and many varied experiences. Our drivers and guides were fantastic, their enthusiasm and knowledge was unbeatable. I loved every minute.
Hotels were excellent. Tour guides, especially the guide in Cape Twon, were excellent. The Optional day in the wineries was just a 'drink-up'. I suggest replacing that option with a tour to Robben Island
