Fantastic trip! This was our first time on an organised group tour and it exceeded our expectations. Very well organised, informative guides, particularly our guide in Beijing, Bill who was incredibly entertaining, informative and friendly. The hotels were very comfortable and the pace of the tour whilst non-stop did not feel rushed. The optional tours were worthwhile as they enabled us to see and experience more of the cities without needing to organise anything ourselves. Overall the tour was exceptional value for money. Looking forward to doing another!

Our guide Mert was so knowledgeable about the history of the places he took us. He was also great at managing a big group with lots of personalities and ages. I liked that he would check in advance when cruise ship passages were coming to a certain spot and organise our day so we wouldn’t have to deal with huge crowd. He also suggested great restaurants and places to visit on our down time. The only thing was some of the hotels we were staying at (i.e the one in Istanbul was 40 minutes away from central areas with no public transport requiring us to take long taxis to get to places or restaurants). It would be good for future tours to consider this. We came a few days before the tour started also so was able to see more of Istanbul however with the tour only I feel the Istanbul part was too short.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first TripADeal holiday, and all the locations we visited were fantastic. A few improvements could enhance the experience, particularly on free days. Offering multiple pick-up times—such as an afternoon option—would benefit travellers who prefer not to be out all day, especially older or less mobile guests. Early departures often meant late returns, leaving no opportunity to enjoy hotel facilities like pools, which would have been valuable for rest and recovery during the summer heat. Some accommodation could be reconsidered. For example, Grand Hotel Admiral Palace in Chianciano Terme felt outdated, had limited nearby dining options for less mobile guests, and only offered a bath (no shower), which was not ideal during a heatwave. Air conditioning issues were experienced by multiple couples, including us at Hotel Borgo Ca’ dei Sospiri in Venice, where only a pedestal fan was provided. While the property itself was beautiful, it was too far from Venice with limited public transport. We had to walk over 2km back to the hotel on two occasions—once at midnight and once in extreme daytime heat—due to lack of shuttles or available taxis, which was challenging. It would also be beneficial to include an overnight stay in Florence between days 8 and 9 to avoid unnecessary backtracking. In summer, earlier departures and earlier returns would help travellers better manage the heat. For days involving longer travel distances, earlier departures would allow for earlier returns to accommodation, giving travellers more time to rest and recover. Our tour guide, Ursula, was wonderful—providing helpful itineraries, local tips, and exceptional support throughout the trip. Overall, we had a great experience. One additional tip for travellers: those flying with Emirates on long layovers (10+ hours) may be eligible for Dubai Connect, which includes complimentary accommodation and transfers—an excellent benefit for long-haul journeys.

The Capetown winery day was a stand out. The accommodation was all great, especially in Capetown. The guides at Capetown (Jeremy) and at Victoria Falls (Kuta) were amazing and very knowledgeable. I loved the two and a half days of Safari in Kruger and Chobe. Saw all the animals except for a rhino in the wild. The Zambezi sunset cruise was a stand out. Helicopter over Victoria Falls was awesome. The only suggestion is for a bigger bus for the trip from Sabonani Resort to Johannesburg. 6 hours is a long time on a small bus. It would have been great to make that a internal flight.

We generally loved it all and mostly the fact we weren’t on the run every day. We like to relax a bit more than others and because we were in places 2, 3 and 4 nights made it easier. 2 nights in Cameron Highlands was enough though. Our tour guide Gerald was very good and the hotels we stayed in were all good and except for Strawberry Resort well located. A very enjoyable trip and we will hopefully book another one soon.

We loved it all with 2 major highlights being the Taj Mahal and Ganges River experience. Everything ram very smoothly with time, guides, transport etc

Fantastic holiday. Everything was so expertly organised and smooth. I'm so glad we had Roger as our guide. What a lovely and knowledgeable human being. He made our trip so special. Highlight would be seeing pygmy elephants. An improvement would be to remove the bat cave from the itinerary. You couldn't even see the bats and I've seen better caves elsewhere. It was smelly and dirty with thousands of cockroaches and no-one enjoyed it. Accommodation was excellent apart from the first hotel in Sandakan which was noisy with street music playing until 11pm when all you want is sleep. Accommodation got better after that.

The holiday was fantastic. All the accommodation was above our expectations. The guide, helper and driver were friendly and great during the Sri Lanka tour. The over water villa all inclusive package on the Hushi island was first class with access to all the resturants and bars at no extra cost. The staff were friendly and efficient The only complaint we have was that both entertainment units on our flight from Sydney on Srl Lanka Airlines kept freezing up and stopped working after 1 to 2hrs on the 11 hour flight.

A couple of very long bus travel days, maybe make your tour a day longer to make travel days a bit shorter. I really didn't like the shopping excursion eg gems, tea plantation and spice hard sell. I went to tour Sri Lanka not to go to these places to be pressured in to buying their wares. Accommodation was very impressive! Food was plentiful and of a very high quality, although would like more al la carte choices, buffets get a little tiring. Over all the trip was great, Dash our guide was amazing and went above and beyond his duty of care. He was nothing short of professional but in a very friendly and caring way. Bus captain was an excellent and safe driver, co captain kept bus spotless, always a very happy and friendly greeting in the morning with a beautiful fresh flower. Wonderful way to start the day. Maldives was a perfect way to unwind. Loved it. Thank you Tripadeal the holiday was so good

China is a big country. There are so much to see but there are improvements to be made. TAD should inform travellers that when an overnight layover was involved, they should be warned that the luggage would go straight to the destination, in this case Beijing with an overnight accommodation in Quangzhou. I was not told of this, so I was not prepared for any change of clothes etc. I had to pay 150 RMB for solo room supplement because my travelling companion, although paid in full, could not join the tour. Technically speaking, I am sharing a room with her and that I should not have to pay as she did not cancel her trip and her name was still in the system. Also to advise travellers that they cannot bring powerbanks from Australia into China as they will be confiscated at the airport. Powerbanks with "CCC" on the back of the powerbanks are allowed in. Too many optional tours which were not listed on the itinerary. Imagine in Zhangjiajie with 5 optional tours. Some travellers did not join the optional tours because they did not budget for it.

Actual holiday was most enjoyed. TripADeals policy with extending on departure date was not ideal- added unnecessary stress with having to do own accomodation extensions. Trip a deal we’re not helpful with confirming the hotel we should book at. Otherwise tripADeal handed over to Celebrity for the cruise component. Park hotel was great.

Loved having everything pre booked for us. Loved our transfers. Hotel Ercolini spectacular. Hotel Grand Admiral Palace 2Stars. ( dismal and run down ) Some days far too long ( 10-12 hrs ) The entire group wanted to get to our Hotels by 5pm. Many nights it was 7pm. Felt like a marathon not a Holiday. Please make the days around 6-8 hrs only . It would have been perfect if we had slightely shorter days so we could relax before dinner.

There were a great bunch of travellers and overall it was a good trip, the Hilton Hotel was outstanding. Dinner on the second last night was not nice nor was the service there. They would not serve any dessert because they said we had a glass of unasked for Mountain Dew which was actually cordial with floaters, I think it remained untouched at our table. Another place didn’t serve enough food for eleven people for lunch, these are just minor issues but perhaps easily fixed.

Had a great time and learnt a lot from tour guides, especially from Nam in Hanoi , only let down was the removal of ventolin inhaler, vicks inhaler and 10000000 vnd from my bag through four zipped compartments in my room while at Reed hotel, I should had used room safe. Would recommend your company and tour to anyone, Kind regards Mike

HIGHLIGHTS Walking the Great Wall was a genuinely extraordinary experience — breathtaking in scale and beauty, and a moment that will stay with us long after the trip. The Shanghai river cruise was equally memorable, offering stunning views of the iconic Bund skyline and the perfect way to experience the city's remarkable contrast of old and new. Our Beijing guide, Tina, was, without a doubt, the standout of the entire trip. Her depth of knowledge was exceptional — she made every site come alive with context and stories, kept us well-informed about what to expect at each location, and dealt with any issues or requests at once and without fuss. She is a credit to Trip-A-Deal and exactly the kind of guide that makes a tour truly memorable. Itinerary and Duration - The breadth of what is covered is genuinely impressive and gives travellers a rich, varied picture of this fascinating country. That said, the itinerary is packed to the point where in some locations, there is little opportunity to soak in the places you are visiting. A slightly more relaxed pace, with even 15–20 extra minutes at key sites, would make a meaningful difference. When activities are promoted as optional, there should be a genuine, no-pressure choice to sit them out. On several occasions, travellers felt unable to opt out of ‘extra activities’, with no alternative offered, such as returning to the hotel or waiting. Accommodation - While the hotels were of a good standard, they were situated away from town centres. In practice, this made it impossible to simply step out for a walk or browse local shops, added significant travel time, and made independent exploration impractical. Locating hotels closer to city centres, even at a modest premium, would greatly enhance the overall experience. Attractions and Activities - The crowd at the Terracotta Warriors were so intense that it was genuinely difficult to see and appreciate the Warriors themselves. For a site that is the centrepiece of this tour, we would strongly suggest that Trip-A-Deal consider earlier entry times or a crowd guidance strategy. Jade factory — We had an extremely poor experience here. We bought a ring for approximately $900 AUD, which snapped within days. The vendor has replaced it, though with a noticeably smaller piece of jade. We are also aware that another person on our tour was overcharged at this site. We would urge Trip-A-Deal to review the quality standards of their recommended retail partners, as a purchase of this value should come with product integrity and after-sales accountability. Tour Guide / Driver / On Tour Services - Our Beijing guide, Tina, was, without a doubt, the standout of the entire trip. Her depth of knowledge was exceptional — she made every site come alive with context and stories, kept us well-informed about what to expect at each location, and dealt with any issues or requests at once and without fuss. She is a credit to Trip-A-Deal and exactly the kind of guide that makes a tour truly memorable. Flights - China Southern Airlines was excellent throughout — clean planes, attentive and caring staff, and generous food service. A particularly thoughtful touch was the stretching video shown on arrival to help passengers prepare their bodies for the journey ahead and minimise jet lag. A very comfortable experience from start to finish. Transportation - The bullet trains used during the tour were a highlight in themselves — fast, clean, punctual and a great way to experience modern China. An impressive and efficient mode of travel. Pre-Departure Communication - Very good. Value for Money - This tour is genuinely value for money. China is not an easy destination to navigate independently — the political environment, language barriers, and sheer complexity of traffic and logistics make an organised tour not just convenient, but the smartest and most practical way to travel. Trip-A-Deal handles all of that seamlessly, allowing you to focus entirely on the experience. With a few refinements around pacing, hotel location, and the integrity of shopping experiences, this could easily be a five-star trip. We hope this feedback helps future Warriors of China travellers get the most out of this truly incredible destination.

Well organised trip plan, tour guide has lots of knowledge of Vietnam's history. Interesting place to go. If the company arrange direct flight to and back it will be save time on traveling.

Absolutely loved TripADeal, our tour leaders Sandi and Darren were Absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable and lovely. My highlight was climbing The Great Wall. The accommodation was wonderful, clean , fantastic. Breakfasts were huge. China Southern were wonderful, food on the outbound sector ex Australia was the best airline food I've had. Our best TripADeal holiday (out of the 4 we have done) was, without a doubt, The Ultimate South American Adventure. Latam Airlines Premium Economy was more than comfortable (booked direct through Latam) The entire itinerary was well organised and the two guides : Oscar in Peru and Roberto in Rio de Janeiro need a mention for their knowledge of the places visited and their respect and attention to our group 🙏 though it was a small group tour of 14. I prefer the small groups as we get to know each other and 25 days together brings us closer. My next trip with TripADeal is China in October ❤️

Just completed our 15 day Mongolian Adventure holiday. Was a fantastic trip. Ulzii was our tour guide, from Travel Buddies and she was excellent. Her knowledge was vast and her English very easy to understand. She was very relaxed and gave us lots of time to enjoy each stop. We had 13 people on our tour and we all got on so well. A lovely group to travel with and it made our trip so much more memorable. We travelled by 2 4wd vans, swapping between the two vans every 2 days so everyone got to travel with Ulzii, our guide who traveled in the same van. This worked for us. The home stay was lovely. The family so welcoming. The amenities there are basic but that is what we expected so no issues. Every day we had a new location to discover. While there were days of long off road driving, due to the changing scenery and spotting of animals, the days went quickly. We traveled mid June and experienced all 4 seasons. Temperatures of 33 degrees at the Khongor Sand Dunes then 2 days later snow and a high of 8 degrees in Central Mongolia. It rained occasionally but we were spoilt as it only rained when it did not impact us (night time or while driving). Accommodation was in Ger's which were very spacious and comfortable. Shared bathroom facilities were close by and clean. This is a holiday for those that want to experience nature and learn of a countries history. A place that is different to the normal holiday. I highly recommend it.

Loved the great wall but would like longer there. Took too long to get through security for Tiananmen square. Spent too much time shopping not enough on tours but other than that it was fantastic

Loved Inner Mongolia. The both train rides were excellent. The visit to the Medical centre was very interesting. We basically enjoyed most of the itinerary, but there was one reason that took the shine off the whole trip. The lack of Restroom facilities on the coach made my travelling extremely uncomfortable. I am sure i was not the only one that ended up with a bit of an upset stomach. Travelled America and Canada extensively by coach and always had restroom facilities if needed. It was made clear to me that we would be stopping every 2 hours and i know it would be impossible to stop on main highways so that is why a restroom would have been apprecated even if not needed. Tips should not be compulsory but by choice of the client on how much they wish to tip.

The trip worked well. Our group of 9 people was perfect. Each of our tour guides in each location were wonderful. Every hotel was excellent. One suggestion, using the public tourist bus from HoChiMin to Phnom Penn was not a good experience. It would be a more pleasant experience if it was possible to have a dedicated tour bus for the group. Overall a positive experience.

Overall the holiday to Egypt and Jordan was good. We booked the luxury tour and that is what we expected. Flights, tour guides, attractions were all good and organised. Communication from tour guides was through WhatsApp otherwise we would have had no idea as we had multiple guides through the tour. 5 Star hotels in Egypt are self rated. Yes they were great hotels but the biggest disappointment was that every hotel we had was the base accomodation for that hotel. Would expect this from a mid range holiday not luxury. As it was low season every hotel was basically empty so upgrading rooms would have been better. The luxury Nile cruise was extremely overrated. Yes luxury boat we only 10 guests and again the base rooms. Service on the boat was poor, we pretty much had to defend for ourselves, only getting service when asked and the manager of the boat was unapproachable. Another disappointment is that when out on tours and options for lunch we were always taken to the restaurants that the guides had organised. Given customers options would be better and appreciated.

We shared this holiday as a family mum, dad and two teenage sons 16 & 20. The highlights of our trip were the unforgettable overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay, the stunning Pu Luong resort, and experiencing the incredible history and culture of this beautiful country. The food included was second to none and we never went hungry! What truly made this trip such a standout experience, though, was our wonderful guide, Tam. His warmth, knowledge, advice, and ability to share so much information — all while keeping us laughing along the way — made the journey what it was. Tam was a huge part of making this trip the incredible success and memorable experience that it became. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Do yourself a favour and book!

Superb tour. Excellent excursions with first class tour Guide. Roland is an exceptional guide, with in depth knowledge, insights and a wicked sense of humour. Hotels were outstanding apart from first night in Sandarkan. I actually expected that standard of hotel for the duration of the trip given what we paid. Borneo needs more visitors to support the preservation of the rainforest. It's mind-blowing to see the huge palm oil plantations that have destroyed much of the stunning rainforest. This was our first trip a deal tour, we are definitely booking more. The booking, payment, flight confirmation, documentation is excellent.

Loved the visits to the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, Shanghai by night, the lakes and the boat rides and it was great travelling on the bullet train. Loved being looked after by Emely and Robin… great guides. Accommodation and transports were great. Food was great. Impressed by the organisation of the trip, no complaints, only praise. Also impressed by TripaDeal’s costumer service.

Jetstar flight to Seoul, had no screens so no entertainment at all. I was told, confirmed entertainment is included but upon boarding plane was told no entertainment available which is disappointing on a long haul flight with nothing to do as no warning was given and their service was below average. Upon arrival at Seoul airport, instructions not clear was unable to find tour guide. I had to call her to locate where she was. Next day on tour, I was left behind as tour guide never did head count and she told us to go to toilet first but when I came out they had already gone. This caused a lot of stress, no one spoke English and I tried calling her no success, finally someone saw me very upset left in a car park and said she’ll help me contact tour guide which I was grateful for. Tour guide eventually came with no apology stating she was in a hurry. From then on, I was following her closely so she wouldn’t leave me behind as she didn’t wait, people started complaining and later stages of our trip she started to head count. Bus driver was good but spoke no English, also in all the hotels staff only spoke little English unable to communicate mostly. On our last day and the day before of our trip, tour guide left and we were simply abandoned with nothing to do. We could have been offered, they could’ve organised daily tours that was disappointing. Towards the end of our trip, tour guide kept on talking about tipping them and talking about how some people not happy giving in the past and she kept on bringing up the subject again and again which people were not happy being nagged. We all tipped due to being forced weather happy with service or not. Hotels were clean and good, over all it was a good trip needing improvement.

Overall: satisfactory. Too many upselling and sometimes these were not communicated upfront by tour guides. Some days were mostly travelling (bus, train) hence tour guides only did sending off and picking up (not taking us to visit places). Not sure why tips were required on these days.

Jetstar just not up to scratch. 8pm before a 10am flight they advise no in-flight entertainment available and seating configuration had changed. I had selected 1 window seat and 1 aisle seat however ended up in a middle and aisle seat. On checking in i was advised all food would be provided and I wouldn't need my voucher as we were on an international flight. Of course this was incorrect. We boarded the plan on time but it was over an hour late departing, no explanation provided. The first nights accommodation in Seoul was unsatisfactory the room was dirty, the carpet old and was in need of replacement. Other hotels were ok but challenging at times with TV remotes and Air conditioning. The IBIS in Seoul was well located and so probably were others. The Tour guide was only ok. Early on we left someone behind when they had gone to the toilet. Instructions at times were sketchy. On one occasion the tour guide was asked if a soup had any seafood in it as a member of the group had allergies and was told no but it included clams. Also not often told where markets were or recommendation for places to eat or things do in our time. Was also very inconvient not being able to take suitcase on bullet train from Busan to Seoul and being limited to carry on bag. This should have been highlighted in the itinerary. And would have allowed me to take another backpack for my wife. The optional Dinner was ok at best but I understand some other didn't not rate that highly.

Tour Guide was amazing as first time travelers the transfers and pick up and drop off to airport were excellent. One rowing boat experience would’ve been enough, the lady three nights in the one motel at the end was a little bit too much two nights would’ve been perfect. and then finishing with one night in a different location would’ve been better.

From start to finish we were very impressed with communication, the itinerary and value for money! Our Tour guide Lucky was the best. He offered us lots of options for activities outside of the planned itinerary, taught us Vietnamese every day and had amazing knowledge of his country! Would recommend this holiday package to everyone as this trip was a great introduction to Vietnam. We are looking forward to our next trip a deal tour of Vietnam in the future.

We had a wonderful time on this Mongolia tour. The scenery was spectacular, and the sights and activities were great. My only criticism was that there was quite a lot of free time built into the itinerary. While some downtime was appreciated, I felt there were opportunities to include more sightseeing or cultural activities in some locations. Overall, this was a memorable trip that gave me a great introduction to Mongolia, and I would happily recommend it to others.

We loved that we saw a lot of northern Italy in a relatively short period. We loved the old villages and the fact we only had to change hotels a few times. The guide and driver were great. We had a great time. Suggestions for improvements 1) The hotels were too far out of the cities, particularly in Rome and Venice. We spent hundreds of euros in taxi fares and were limited in what we could do with downtime. 2) Chianciarno is a ghost town. I’d stay in Montepulciano instead. 3) the optional lunch in Florence was poor. The one in Bologna was excellent and very authentic. 4) this time of year the hotels should all have pools.

Our guide Surjit/obama made this trip something truly magical. We loved the itinerary and traditional meals. The hotels were wonderful. Our group was great. Everything was amazing. As we all arrived around midnight a lazy day in Colombo would have been great.

The whole holiday was spectacular Norman and cruiso the driver and cook made the whole holiday unforgettable. The game parked were amazing in fact the whole tour was amazing. It would have been perfect to spend a little more time at some places but I understand it was a tight schedule to fit in so much. I tented the trip that was great fitting into some great spots in nature. The only negatives I had was the truck seats were a little narrow for long stretches of driving, and virgin airlines were hopeless I would never fly with them again I hope you never book anyone else on virgin in the future. Loved Hanoi city Really enjoyed Coffee train experience lunch and rickshaw which was optional extra. Great market shopping Loved Ha Long bay boat cruise drinks and dinner, fantastic experience Ninh binh restaurant food was lovely and we were fortunate to see a concert and lantern market., while we were there. Encourage to add this to your as was amazing Great value for money

I didn't actually get to enjoy the holiday due to out of control circumstances. But I am so appreciative of the assistance provided by both Trip A Deal - in particular Mitch T & the team from Nomad Africa Tours & Safaris - Cézanne & Anneliese went above & beyond to assist with my transfers back to Australia & played an important role in my mental & physical health & safety. I highly recommend both organisations. I will definitely be booking my next experience with Trip A Deal !!!

Our Japan Discovery trip was very good, highlights were Mt Fuji which we had a beautiful day to view. Hotels were clean but a little on the small side. Our tour guide was pleasant but I think he could have been a bit more helpful in telling us what we could do on our free days .

Highlights was our tour Guide Bahama, he was amazing, thoughtful, caring and wanted us to be happy and enjoy every minute of Sri Lanka! And yes he achieved this, I couldn’t pick one particular moment that was a highlight because every minute was awesome! I will be back

Info re Robben Is-possible trip option Bus ride Kruger Park back to Johannesburg Airport - option slightly larger bus or option to fly back. Chobe National Park I personally liked better than Kruger. South African Airways I found were average.

The best - Great hotels, great food. The flights, Bullet trains, coaches were excellent. Superb scenery, the Great Wall, the Warriors. We took ourselves off tour on the last day, to visit the ancient ‘Venice of Shanghai’ and loved it. We also danced with locals in a park area we met, in preference to an optional extra - superb. Areas of improvement - While Erik was a great guide, others were pushy when it came to ‘optional’ tours, with some told they were not optional (optional tours continue from where you are already - not the hotel, so unless you find your own way around and meet up again (which we sometimes did), you otherwise don’t have an ‘option’. Several ‘optional tours lead to pushy salespeople at various manufacturing outlets, where we became a captive audience - educational and at times interesting, though not always good. This also meant we had virtually no free time to explore during this tour - hence we went off-tour on the last day. Overall it was enjoyable, is recommended, and is certainly great value.

I truely enjoy the adventure. The days of road travelling were way too long to enjoy the selected hotels/ resorts that were our accommodation. I chose the tent option ( no regrets) but putting up and taking down of the tents in the dark became challenging.. AND tenting put one with the truck and feeling compelled to help with preparing and setting up. Leaving no me/ down time to explore the location. The GUIDES were excellent but communication was short sometimes. They showed and organised us to see a wonder of wild animals ( in and out of the water) and scenery, sunsets to sunrises. Dunes to deep valleys. Paddle to cruise rivers. Great memories Lost my phone on the 8 th day. BUT Victoria Falls photos from knife edge and boiling pot would be the ones I would share

We really appreciate the hard work and excellence provided by our two tour guides Rogin and Jack. And also our bus drivers and all involved in the background to make everything smooth and pleasant.

The whole trip seemed to be very rushed and intense. The timing of the train trips resulted in late Hotel check-ins. There was often in adequate support to locate meals. The guides were fabulous. The boat cruise was definitely not five star The hotels location were problematic. I only considered two of the hotels to be five star. The others were outdated and I have reflected this in reviews. I would not book another trip a deal tour. I was not informed of self transfer at Shanghai Airport until the day before. I found this very problematic as I myself would never book self transfer flights.

Absolutely wonderful. Highlights were Varanasi boat ride, Mysore Palace at night, Allleppy house boat overnight and my third time visiting the Taj. Suggest delete Ranthambore off the trip altogether. Included Safari was a waste of time. Uncomfortable 3 hr jeep ride through what looked like dirt and dead trees. Barely an animal and a few birds. Also it was too much getting up early for jeep ride and then a 5.5 hr drive to Agra after the three hour bumpy boring jeep ride through dead tres with no or one or two animals and a few birds . Suggest a visit to Pushkar rather than Ranthambore. Plus 7 out of 10 People came down with diarrhea and vomiting after eating in the hotel restaurant at Ranthambore . My friend and I paid the tour operator $50 each for the Periyar boat ride on the Dam. Locals pay $2.40 . A bit much $50 when local and our tour were identical. Day of departure check out time was 12 noon. Our flights left at 11 pm. Trip and deal or special holidays should have arranged a late check out as it was only day 20 of our tour. Okay only $15 to extend until 6 pm but should have been included. Just add the $15 onto the price of the total cost of Ultimate India tour. It was a hassle getting a late check out. .no complaints. Just constructive feedback.

Sri Lanka the country was beautiful and we enjoyed the experience. However the selected accommodation was often too far away from eateries and shops. The driver and helper were wonderful. Tipping was unclear and we are unsure if the amount we gave tour guide was given to the appropriate recipients. Transparency required. Dulip the tour guide could have given much more information as we travelled past places of interest. He also did not introduce the driver or assistant! Very poor! The last day was a waste as we arrived at the hotel at 1000 and spent all day at a hotel with one room at the disposal of 18 people. Flights left at midnight and after!! It would have been better to stay in Bentota and go directly to airport. We would definitely do another Trip A Deal. Many thanks.

We loved the people of Sri Lanka, the sense of genuine warmth they proffered. As far as improvements to the package, we felt the actual tour deviated from the original tour itinerary to the point we probably wouldnt have booked if we knew that was the reality. We had changes to our daily trip schedule at the instigation of the tour guide, the last 3 days of the trip were meant to be a relaxing period, we arrived late on the first day, the second day was ok, the last day we spent travelling and hanging around Earl's Regent with little to do except swim in the pool. We also felt the process for gratuity collection and dispersal was controlled by the tour guide to the point we lacked trust in its final impact on the staff we intended it for. Some of the Property we stayed at was below the standard expected, also isolated, reducing the level of local interaction possible. The Driver and Helper however did a great job.

Overall it was ok. First bus driver was the highlight. Many possible improvements. Hotels were under average with mostly useless staff. Some wouldn’t serve dinner, others had complications in getting to rooms - eg no lift. Bus load of older people so getting to accommodation with heavy suitcases needs to be a consideration. Crazy schedule the last few days - bus from Liverpool to Holyhead, ferry had no passenger info in booking, 4 hours to Dublin then spent most of 2 days crossing Ireland and returning to Dublin. Basically almost 2 days were wasted. The last day in Dublin had no bus and no guide to was not really part of the trip but was included in the itinerary - made worse by hotel being a long way from the city centre. First day on bus was London to Windsor castle then back to London in peak hour. Next day we went to bath (basically past Windsor again). Hotel should have been near Bath instead of backtracking. Similar thing also happened in Scotland. “Galway” hotel was 40 minutes from Galway. Similar with “Liverpool” hotel. The flexibility to arrive early and leave later was a good thing that we took advantage of. I think both the itinerary and hotels (both quality and location) need to be reconsidered.

It was a good group. Accommodation was great. We felt safe throughout. Days were too long. We did not get into our accommodation till after dark. Additional activities were suggested as an additional cost, and there was too much emphasis placed on the expected gratuity. It became awkward for many in the group. The visit to the Jeweller was outright fraud. One member of our group spent hundreds of dollars on a ring that was doctored with plastic infill, which only became obvious because he went for a swim. We were also asked to make a $25 amount into a pool so the tour guide could pay for our toilet visits and tips to people who provided the various services. Out of pocket, unexpected costs were considered extreme.

This was our first time using TripAdeal and right from the first conversation with staff, we were so very impressed and grateful for all the communication. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and being home now it seems it was months ago!! The crew on the boat and the tour guides were simply amazing. We only have a couple of point that you might consider: * The five-hour bus trip from Siem Riep we could have left earlier in the day and breaking the journey with a couple of stops to look around. * Many of the other travelers agreed that all gratuities should be included in the trip pricing. There were a couple of surprises along the way!! * On the boat, the Purser insisted that our passports were handed in and kept us to ransom until our onboard account was paid before they were given back. Nobody can keep your passport especially in a Communist country. All the sights we saw were simply amazing however, and all agreed and stopped going to them, was there were too many visits to Buddhist Temples and Temples in general. We had a great time on our first TripADeal holiday. Mulu National Park was excellent and the overall quality of the guides was very good. It would have been good to have a day to explore Kuching and maybe one day less in Kota Kinabulu. After flying into Kuching - going straight to bako national Park was maybe a bit much? Kuching was such a beautiful place it would have been good to have the opportunity to explore it more. Our first guide for Kuching was ok, but the other two that followed, John and Sarah were excellent.

A lovely trip providing a good overview of Sri Lanka (like with most TD tours you are left with a feeling of wanting to see more of the country...which is a good thing!). Accommodation was mostly excellent and the tour guide, driver and assistant went out of their way to make the trip enjoyable for the group. I was unhappy with Araliya Hotel (3 night stay) at Unawatuna - the Hotel is really large, was hosting a conference (which involved late night party until 12 midnight) and is in an 'unfortunate location'. I had a friend do this same trip in March and they stayed at a much nicer (size, location, facilities) hotel. Had it been one night it probably wouldn't have mattered but 3 noisy nights didn't feel 'luxury' and is largely the reason I have rated the trip a 4 not a 5. We also had some problems with drinks bills at the same hotel (staff didn't seem well trained).

Aiko was an excellent tour guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and well organised. The drivers were professional and ensured we travelled safely throughout the tour. The bus rides were consistently smooth and comfortable, making the journey very enjoyable. While the overall hotel experience was good, the breakfast options for vegetarians were quite limited. Offering a greater variety of vegetarian dishes would enhance the experience for future guests.

We had a great time! We went in the winter so the weather was nice and the animals were active. The safari trips were great. The jeeps are comfortable and the guides very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the optional scenic panoramic drive from Kruger National Park. It was beautiful. The time in Capetown was really nice and again the optional day along the coast was great.

Loved Shanghai. Inner Mongolia was ordinary. Accommodation was all very good. Would have been good to fly directly out of Brisbane. We were told we had to fly out of Sydney only to meet a number of people on our tour who flew out of Brisbane. This added another 2 days to our trip. Otherwise a great value holiday. Thank you

Absolutely loved this trip. It’s unavoidable but the he roads were below very poor so it became uncomfortable in the drives between camps. The guides were great, particularly Bill during the Beijing leg. Loved the mix of old and new new cultures. Would like some other optional inclusions including Disneyland . We dod do Disneyland but missed out of the train and market.

Our trip was booked because of the price & itinerary. China was, to be honest, not on our priority list of places to visit. We are so glad we went. Tour guides in Beijing & in Shanghai were fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly & helpful with places to eat & shop & with local insights on where to go whenever they were asked with free evenings Drivers were champions of the very busy roads. Highlights, obviously the Great Wall- absolutely amazing. Era acrobatic show was mind blowing. Bullet train-WOW. We can honestly say that we did all the additional tours & are so glad we did. Shanghai & Beijing are clean, safe & modern cities, totally different of what we had expected. Personally the tour was a brilliant snippet of ancient, post war & possible future of China. We would definitely go to China again.

We really enjoyed Vietnam. The tour ran like clockwork. The luxury accommodation and tour extension were really worth the upgrade. Tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating with special needs of some of the guests.( which I hope was appreciated) The tour did recommend a moderate fitness level and this was definitely the case to truly enjoy the full trip, which we did. We traveled with another couple of friends and this really enhanced our trip as well. It was very fun and great value for the price

Our accommodations were amazing as was Dan, our guide in Sri Lanka. Everything went completely smoothly and enjoyed all the places we visited in Sri Lanka. The Maldives couldn’t have been any better. My only suggestion would be to add a day extra on the Sri Lankan trip and stay at Ella so the travel wasn’t as long between Nuwara Eliya – Galle. It was a very long day of n the bus and Ella looked like a great place to stop.

We loved it all the places we had been, the activities that we shared and how our guides guided us and how their shared the histories of both the Shanghai and Beijing to us. The guides were friendly and funny and made our trips interesting. Our group were all good, cooperative and no problems were happened during the trips. I left my 2 Samsung tablets during our last security check in Shanghai for Beijing and with the help of Robin and Serena I had recovered it. There was incident that my friend left his wallet in Starbucks and that was recovered too with the help of our guides We’re already looking for our next adventure. We loved all of the Japan experience, the vibrancy of Tokyo, the beauty of the countryside we saw on our way to other places, the wonderful temples and shrines. I would like to acknowledge the team at Trip-a-Deal for their prompt, professional and friendly assistance when I brought my old passport instead of my new one. After flying from Adelaide to Sydney only to go through customs and realise my mistake, my travelling partner had to go ahead whilst I had to stay overnight in Sydney. A couple of frantic phone calls later, the wonderful team were able to rebook my flights for the next day and my son took a red eye from Adelaide to bring me my new passport. I was now able to join the tour within 24 hours. Upon my arrival in Sandakan, a lovely guide, James, and a driver met me at the airport to my surprise. I really thought I would have to make my own way to the hotel! They then took me straight to the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary and to see the sun bears. I was thrilled, as I thought I would miss this part and it was the main reason for my choice of travel. I cannot thank Trip a Deal enough for their help and attention to my situation. We went on to have the best trip. Michael, our tour guide, was the best! His knowledge and passion for the beautiful country of Borneo was infectious and we were all captivated by the stories and history. The highlight was the river cruises to find the Pygmy elephants, which chose not to make an appearance sadly. The Kinabatangan River is stunning and we learned so much about the wildlife we did see and came away with an appreciation and fascination for so much more. The whole trip was well planned, we did so much but still had some down time which we needed. We were glad we added the extra 2 nights at the end to stay at the stunning Shangri La Resort in Kota Kinabalu. I highly recommend this trip. Amazing value for money. My friend and I are now looking at our next Trip a Deal holiday!

The entire trip was very well coordinated. Our Canada tour guide Laura Freeman, being a local, was amazing. Her local knowledge was next level and personality, just lovely. 15 out of 10 for Laura. The Alaskan cruise on the Koningsdam was magnificent. The ship & its staff was amazing.

Overall the trip was amazing, such beautiful scenery. Zoom our tour guide was awesome. Accomodation was of good quality. More water needed of first day as very hot & humid. Would definiately book with tripadeal again.

Superbly-organised, great accommodation (especially the Hilton in KK), outstanding tour guide. Safe driver, comfortable coach. Great value for money. Would have liked a tour of tea factory and do tea tasting at Sabah Tea. That would probably have led to more sales for their shop too. We really enjoyed the 10 days of China. Specially Serena and Robin our tour guides are excellent. They both supported us whenever, wherever they can. Explained everything in details. Serena helped us to order food etc Can’t thank enough both One issues was, we had a late flight from Beijing to Shanghai and flight got delayed, when we checked in it was 5.30 in the morning. Great well organised trip covering major tourist attractions & cultural highlights, fast paced but great value for money overall!

Stress that the tour is a walking and step climbing holiday. You can not have any significant ankle, knee or hip problems. Similarly no significant lung or heart disease. Take your own toilet paper and sanitiser with you.Not supplied in the public loos. Most of them are the infamous squatter!!! China esim probably required. Cash works just about everwhere as well as Alipay. It was a great holiday. Everything worked like a swiss watch. Great guides. Friendly locals.

We ticked off many things from our bucket list, highlights being The Great Wall and Wuling Mountain. The landscape was beautiful. Each guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The days were long but manageable. Consistent times for lunch and dinner would have been appreciated but the itinerary was too full at times for this to happen.

Our group of 8 enjoyed every moment of the tour. China is an incredible country with so much history and so much to see. The tour was very well organised with excellent guides, who spoke very good English, were well informed, humourous and took well care of the whole group and were patient and always willing to help with any of our requests. A shout out to Celery and Echo, our fabulous guides. With so much packed into the tour, be prepared for a hectic time of early starts and not much free time. The hotels were good and the breakfasts provided were huge and had both Chinese and western offerings. Most hotels are away from the city centre, so you do spend time on the bus getting to each location. The buses are very comfortable with aircon, so enjoy the scenery while listening to your guide. Highlights: Walking the Great Wall, the immensity of it is mind blowing; The Terracotta Warriors; The greenery in Beijing and blue skies; The food!; The many friendly people. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, especially what we got for the price. The tours and guides allowed us to have insight into the people, culture and environment of China. The Great Wall and The Terracotta Warriors were amazing. We had a great group for our tour and our guides, Leo, Richard and Ivy were incredible. Definitely can recommend this trip.

It was a great holiday, very well organised and very busy. But I do think the tipping , which is mandatory, should be included in the trip cost. The guides are very forward when asking for their mandatory tips.

We really enjoyed this trip, but the two massive highlights were Ha Long Bay Tour and Ba Na Hill Tour! The tour guides were very helpful, experienced and a joy to learn from. Food was delicious with the option to choose, transportation was a breeze and well organised and the hotels were 4 - 5 stars!!!! We overall really did enjoy our time in Vietnam and Cambodia, however one suggestion we have is minimising the amount of temple tours, to potentially have some days where we see more scenery. Temples were beautiful but I think we missed out on seeing nature. Highly recommend this trip through TripADeal :)

The absolute highlight of our trip was our host Duc. He introduced us to his Vietnam so we felt immersed and comfortable from the very start. The first stage of our trip was a beautiful introduction to Hanoi, Ha Long and Pu Luong with a mix of energetic activity and relaxing, and good food everywhere we went. We could easily have gone home happy after this but we also booked the extension. The extension trip was a contrast with the coastal atmosphere of Hoi An, and the eye opening Ba Na Hills optional activity, then the bustling city life of Ho Chi Minh, but it made us feel like we had experienced as much of Vietnam as we could.

The itinerary was great and some of the guides were fantastic other were too focussed on upselling the options. Our tour group were awesome which made the whole experience better. The cruise was very average , I am not sure who set the schedule but wasting a whole day doing nothing on a boat sitting in one place is dumb. A better way to do it would be to sail and give people a day In chongquin to explore at the end. Spending hours at an airport is also a complete waste of time in China. The tour guide seemed happy to dump us at an airport with hours to spare or waste a whole day around travel without any sightseeing . The last thing I will say is that every tour guide except one only concentrated on the tour highlights not once did they explain sights as the bus was driving along which would have been easy to do Don’t get me wrong the above are feedback and we loved the trip to China. And the sights were amazing Craig
