I loved that everything was organised and I didn't have to do a thing. The communication was great, from Tripadeal staff before the trip as well as the guides, though communication could have been a little better from one of the guides in that she almost seemed reluctant to provide any information that might allow us to deviate from the itinerary or provide information that would allow us to explore on our own. Our guide Angel in Beijing was amazing and seemed completely in control of everything. The hotels were lovely and a good standard, though in Beijing and Shanghai they were quite far / isolated. It would be best if all of the hotels had shops, eateries within walking distance. The flights with Juneyao were great and better than I expected. I did wonder why the tour doesn't start in Shanghai and end in Beijing as this would cut out the Beijing to Shanghai and return flight. Our bus for the Shanghai tour looked quite worn and a toilet on the bus would be a great advantage. The itinerary is great in that it includes a lot however it was a bit too full. An extra half day in Shanghai to explore or rest at our leisure would have been perfect with one of the lakes or gardens being sacrificed to allow this. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this tour even though I returned exhausted, and thought it amazing value for money.

The biggest hight of many was The Kalamantangan River lodge stay and the trips up the river. We were able to witness orang-utans in the wild and a troupe of 30 or so elephants crossing the river. Learning about the Sandakan Death March was also eye opening and disturbing that this is not part of our country's knowledge base of WWII. The Mari Mari Village experience was an excellent day. We were also so impressed with our guide Michael who is not only a personable and experienced guide but so knowledgeable about Sabah, its history and native wildlife. He made the trip a magical experience to never be forgotten. We will be recommending this Tripadeal to anyone that asks.

I loved everything about this trip. No complaints at all. Our tour guides weee the best you could have asked for, very knowledgeable and helpful. There was just the right amount of free time and tours to keep busy with. We were very lucky to have gone at the time of the 50th anniversary of Vietnams freedom. And arrived at Sapa for their autumn festival. Spectacular singing in Sapa and fireworks in HoChiMin. Would recommend this tour to anyone. Well done trip a deal.

An action packed holiday that was so well organised. Our tour guide Sarah was so welcoming and infomative and took such great care of us. Our bus broke down at one point, but we were having so much fun, it really didn't matter at all! Saw all the animals - had a personal (we saw them first and had them to ourselves for ages) close up of pygmy elephants, which was such a highlight. A great mix of wildlife, history and culture over the almost 2 weeks.

We had a wonderful time in Uganda. The tour guide we had was excellent. He went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed as well as explained everything and made us feel safe and comfortable. The wildlife was amazing and our tour guide had a great insight into where to find them. We got to see so many animals in their natural habitat and at pretty close distances. At one Lodge we had Elephants drinking from the pool while visitors were in it. The Gorilla and Chimp trekking was fantastic as well. Getting to spend time with them and watching them play and interact with each other was amazing. The people of Uganda were very warm and welcoming. The staff where we stayed were attentive and professional. The places we stayed were excellent but some could do with more fans or air conditioning as quite warm to try and sleep. Overall, an amazing trip that I would not hesitate to recommend to people.

Loved the jeep safari, saw elephants, was amazing. Loved the country and culture, I personally found Sri Lankan people to be beautiful, placid and welcoming.

Being our first tripadeal tour I would highly recommend it to anyone. From the plane ride there to home it was an incredible experience one I would never forget. Highlight of the tour for me was the boat cruise through Ha Long Bay it was amazing. I would also like to thank our tour guide Tam Nguyen the knowledge he had about our tour and the respect,care and patience he showed to everyone was incredible. I will definitely go to Vietnam again I Tam is my guide again.

Adventurous and plenty of highlight

We enjoyed all the trip. Quality guide and team, He was flexible when needed including by happy coincidence a viewing of a once in a year ceremony in Kandy. Wildlife experiences were a wonderful experience. Having only one day of a longer trip was appreciated.

I loved the clean and beautiful scenery, the big beautiful hotels, ease of transport, cheap food, good roads, big lakes, beautiful garden I spent more than $1,500 on silk bedding, traditional medicine, tea and pearls. The silk bedding is the most expensive item that I bought and not sure it its worth it. The traditional medicine is expensive too and don't know it it's worth buying but I just want to try it. I also bought some silk lotion and some jewelries.

Our holiday was amazing. Our guide Dulip was great and our bus driver and assistant were wonderful. The experiences they gave us, as well as the extra activities made our trip more special. The elephants and also watching the Festival of the Tooth were my highlights. We only wished we had more time to explore the villages, like spending another day in Kandy. Stopping to explore more of the local markets and life styles. A few more days in Sri Lanka would be wonderful. Wow, the Maldives were beautiful, we have never seen water so clear and blue. We were so lucky to have an amazing group of people to travel with. We have made some great friendships. The staff at Trip a Deal were very helpful in making this trip come together. Thanks Trip a Deal for your help in making our bucket list come true.

An Outstanding Tour Director – Kirk Moses My wife and I would like to give special recognition to our tour director, Kirk Moses, for the outstanding role he played in making our trip such a memorable and enjoyable experience. Kirk is an exceptional tour director: friendly, respectful, exceptionally organised and blessed with a wonderfully dry sense of humour. Most importantly, he has an impressive depth of knowledge about every area we travelled through, whether we were passing through, stopping to explore or staying overnight. Last few days we have been through Washington State, Idaho and Montana. Visited Yellowstone National Park. His commentary was informative, engaging and never tedious. Kirk has a genuine ability to bring places to life, sharing interesting factual information in a way that made even familiar locations feel fresh and exciting. He could explain something aome had seen before and somehow make it feel like the first time. Kirk is also a very personable and considerate man. He made everyone feel welcome, included and valued. Rather than simply telling us what was going to happen, he regularly invited the group's thoughts and ideas and genuinely listened to them. He was always willing to offer assistance and did so with patience, courtesy and good humour. When one of our fellow travellers became unwell, Kirk responded promptly and appropriately, putting the person's wellbeing first and helping arrange the necessary medical assistance. His calm and caring response demonstrated that his concern for the group extended well beyond simply delivering the tour programme. Kirk also worked exceptionally well with our bus driver, Warren “Wazza” Woodward. Together, they created an atmosphere that was professional when required, relaxed when appropriate and always focused on making the journey enjoyable for everyone. We were fortunate to travel with a wonderful group of fellow passengers, but Kirk undoubtedly helped set the tone for the entire experience. My wife and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kirk to anyone fortunate enough to have him as their tour director. One of the best Tripadeal holidays we’ve been on - and we’ve done 20. This truly was an adventure. It had variety, city life v’s Nomad life, the foods etc. our guide Nasa and driver ensured we saw the best sites on route even if it meant crossing incredible terrain. We were able to interact in a very personal way with the home stays and the yak farmers. The history , religion and culture of the country was covered without being a boring monologue.

The trip was incredible. We enjoyed cape town, had the best Italian meal at a place we found online, https://thecousinsrestaurant.com/- great food, service, atmosphere. All the activities provided by the tour were well organised and interesting. Table Mountain View’s were incredible, our guide for the city half day tour, Bradley February, was knowledgable and friendly and tailored his input to group interests. We used our 3rd free day to go to Robben Island, where Mandela was held prisoner. You need to book it a couple of months prior. Well worth it. At the Thamalakane River Lodge we paid extra for a sunset cruise, well worth it. Saw hippos, crocs, birds. The next day was going out in canoes piled by locals on the Okavango delta. Beautiful. We’d not seen many animals but, on our way back, the Polar leader spotted elephants. They made a significant detour and we saw zebras and elephants! In Victoria Falls, seeing the waterfall from the front was wonderful. Our driver and guide, Rana, was excellent. Chobe National Park was also a great excursion, and we saw so much wildlife - hippos, elephants, birds, zebras, crocs, giraffes, lions, impala, kudu, baboons. Robins Camp was the icing on the cake. We saw all animals mentioned already, plus cheetah, a puff adder, hyena, wild cat and male lions. Staff were lovely, our guide Thulani fantastic. The accommodation was good except for a dodgy shower, but we could easily live with that! Some tips - take swimmers, the pool at Victoria Falls was especially good, but there’s also a pool at Thamalakane and Robins Camp. Allow for US$10 per day for tips and take small notes - $1, $5, $10 - as you’re often tipping multiple people in a day (guides, drivers, service staff).

Cong our tour guide was exceptional in his manner, knowledge of the region and his history of Vietnam. Our driver had amazing driving skills and navigated the winding roads and landslides perfectly. Northern Vietnam was so very beautiful. The hotels were fabulous. The tours to villages, waterfalls, monuments ect were great and well organised. My extension to Halong Bay was exceptional and Ni Bin was okay too. Absolutely loved my trip.

We loved the variety of experiences provided with the coach, train and cruise. All went smoothly from start to finish. Pre-trip support from your team was excellent. Accomodation was of a good standard and convenient for local dining options that were explained well.

The tour guides King and Joe were excellent. Great knowledge and full of humour.

We loved every aspect of the holiday from the itinerary to the guides to the hotels. no complaints from us. We were looked after and our needs catered for.

Have transfers included. Another thing not to worry about when you’re on holidays. The park hotel was in a good location. The cruise was fantastic, great food, entertainment and exceptional service. The only thing is the ship excursions and spa treatments are so overpriced. Apart from that, the cruise was great.

Our guide was fabulous and his english was excellent, the food was great and the experience of sleeping in Gers was amazing.

Tour guide (Dip) was amazing, he knew everything Nepal was an amazing experience and will definitely be back Would be nice to do bus one way and fly back when going to Chitwan. It’s a long way to do both ways Other than that, it was excellent

Great holiday saw all animals and especially our river trip seeing herd of elephants crossing the river. The war memorial was narrated well and very moving experience, the Manukan island very relaxing and lastly the Mari Mari village also very interesting. Michael our tour guide was excellent and his knowledge of conservation and detailed information every day was exemplary.

It was an intensive trip covering a lot of recent history and many varied experiences. Our drivers and guides were fantastic, their enthusiasm and knowledge was unbeatable. I loved every minute.

Hotels were excellent. Tour guides, especially the guide in Cape Twon, were excellent. The Optional day in the wineries was just a 'drink-up'. I suggest replacing that option with a tour to Robben Island

What a fantastic adventure, we have had the most amazing experience, it just continued to get better and better. Our Tour Guide Kirk and Bus Driver Warren made our experience the most memorable, they went above and beyond to deliver great scenery at the right times, beating the rush, they were both knowledgeable and were able to provide history and detail on the areas visited. Always ensuring everyone was happy and safe whilst travelling each and everyday. This is our very first Trip A Deal package and it definitely didn’t disappoint and will have no hesitation in booking another. The only improvement opportunity would be to ensure that all personnel have landed at least the lunchtime the day prior to the tour commencement to allow a full nights rest and accommodate and flight delays incurred.

Can’t fault any part of the experience, the hotels, coaches, guides, drivers, experiences - all were superb. So glad it was targeted to people who are still fairly active, the hikes and kayaking etc. Have been on tours where very elderly people took up so much time getting on/off transport it really impacted everyone else.

Firstly I’d like to start by saying a big thank you to TripADeal! Your professionalism and support in the lead up to my first tour was amazing. Great service! Spain & Portugal. Whilst the tour was amazing there would be a couple of things that I and the group all agreed on. Ideally we would have liked a quick meet and greet on the first night with the tour leader and other members of the tour so get to know each other. I felt like a WhatsApp chat of all group members would have been handy for information etc. Some hotels were a little far out ( especially for a single person) There was a lot of free time and prior to departure it would be handy to know roughly when “tour” part ended so we could book additional items we wanted to see during the day. Our tour guide Malena was lovely and helpful. Morocco… couldn’t fault our tour guide Habib. He was helpful and he even waited 15min after we checked into each hotel if we had issues he could assist. Can’t recommend Habib enough I do hope you continue to use him on any of our Moroccan tours. Hotels were great - the best of the tour that’s for sure. Bus was a little small but we managed. On our first night we had a quick catch up and he offered things we could do in our own time and booked these for us. The meals that were included were amazing. Overall a great experience and I am already looking at my next TripADeal tour for next year. I’ll be sure to be in touch. So Thank you for an amazing experience and memories of a life time. All the accommodation was outstanding. The tour guides were brilliant and the coach drivers were exceptional. Too many highlights, every tour was fantastic. Highly recommend this 5 Star Vietnam as it certainly was 5 star!! Shame our cruise had to be cancelled due to bad weather, but the compensated activities made up for that. Thank you TripADeal.

Ha Long bay was stunning and Ho Ann was so pretty. The scale of Anhkor Wat was incredible. Location and hotel in Hanoi wasn't the best. Itinerary was great and two weeks was enough.

I loved everything - the landscapes, the animals, the culture, the people, the guides, the safari truck and our travelling companions. We saw so many different animals, climbed Dune 45, visited an orphanage, flew over and paddled on the Okovango Delta, learnt how the Bushmen survive and stayed in fabulous accommodation. Our guides Valentine and Milsheck were amazing - the food they cooked everyday was exceptional - dress and tasty.

Team members tour guides were very good , both Leo and John. Please let us know in the itenary that there would be visits to places that we are expected to spend.

Ha Long Bay amazing and whole group wanted 2 nights Hoi An wonderful and extraordinary guide NiNi from Vacations Indochina. Only suggestion would be an option to visit Da Nang mountains instead of or alternative to Ba Na Hills. Great size of group - 18 and having 3 nights each in Hanoi, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City so much better paced than most Tripadeal tours where often only 1 or two nights stays are scheduled. One of the hotels did not have a pool - we found that the hotel pools provided much needed downtime and a chance to relax with members of the group after a sweltering day of touring. .Exposure to the VietCong tunnels and Khmer Rouge Killing Fields was confronting but an invaluable education.

We loved this trip! Cannot fault anything, everything was seamless from start to beginning. The accommodation was fantastic, the guides were amazing, even the drivers for the transfers were included, they were on time and even help carry our bags right up to the check in counters at the airports. For the value of the trip it was 100% worth the money

We absolutely loved our holiday, it was above and beyond our expectations, our guides "Jackson" in Kenya and "Ali" in Tanzania were just amazing, so friendly, kind and so full of local knowledge, they made our trip exceptional! Our highlights were seeing so many animals up close, but with respect to their space, we seen ths big 5 plus so,so, many more! The accommodation & meals were all amazing, no complaints at all, a special mention to ' Mawe Camp' in Serengetti, this one was extra special! I honestly can not praise this trip enough, just incredible!

I liked the places that were on the itinerary some were amazing , however i was often disappointed by the lack of time allocated for places of interest. Often we only just arrived in time to bolt down lunch and then it was time to move on or we simply were not given enough information on what we would see and the best way to go about it.. Wild animal sightings were rare ( that cant be helped) however when they did occur more effort could have been made to stop the bus! The quality of the guide could be seriously improved!

We really enjoyed our trip, some of the optional tours we didn’t believe were good value and had the same feedback from others on the tour also. But overall we really enjoyed our time and the accommodation. King was our tour guide in Beijing and if needed would score him 10/10 Joe was our tour guide in Shanghai etc. and if needed would score him 8/10 Both were very very good, we just felt that king went over and above and exceeded all expectations. Fantastic accommodation and breakfasts and amazing activities. The tour guide was great- very knowledgeable and informative but also gave us space.

The highlight of my tour was most definitely our guide Miyaki, he was entertaining, knowledgeable and always laughing!! We saw so much of Japan in a short time, was a good taste of this beautiful country will definitely be back. Accomodation was small but this is standard across Japan, in Tokyo I think it would be better to stay Shinjuku/Shibuya area amongst the action, thankfully we had stayed there 3 days before the tour so did not miss out. Absolutely love Japan will be back but not in Summer way too hot! Thanks again Miyaki for a fabulous memorable trip!!

The BEST group of people imaginable, who ALL got together and enhanced all the great highlights organized by Trip A Deal. Starting the trip in Halong Bay was an amazing start to the holiday. Offering a 'sunrise' tour to Angkor Wat provided a bonus to this incredible day in Sien Reap. Enjoyed the opportunity for some 'free time' for leisure, relaxing by the pool etc., Apart from not realizing I could have extended in Sien Reap, and I wish I had (not sure how I missed this?), I have no suggestions for improvement - Trip A Deal was exceptional with their itinerary, and we all had the BEST time ever!!!

What a great trip. The highlights ranged from amazing wildlife spotting, moving stories of the Sandakan death marches of WW2 and great stories and information from our very knowledgeable guide, Brenden. As a coeliac, I was well taken care of, Brenden's attention to all travellers was top level!

The whole experience was fantastic our driver Amos at entabeni was brilliant sooo much food heaps of different animals except the elusive leopard vic falls was also excellent but above all the fantastic friendly funny group we had made it all worthwhile everything went to plan regarding pick ups flights etc so all in all a very unforgettable memorable trip highly recommended quad bike and Zambia side of falls a must

I really loved the variety of the trip. All flights and excursions were well planned and the ability to see all the tourist destinations was great. The highlight for me was Machu Picchu.

Everything was geat We had a stressful time when we needed to go to our accommodation from Calgary airport. A tripadeal rep would have been a good help.

Our guide, Mark was incredible as his knowledge and passion for the area was evident. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always calm. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience

Our Vietnam trip was so well mapped out- we really wouldn't have known all of the spots to visit and the support was amazing. It was nice to have a combination of planned activities and tours and also free time to wander. We loved the guides and their care along the way, we loved the bikeride through the countryside and the cooking tour. We loved the amazing accommodation. We'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Our tour guide Dat was exceptional, accommodation was excellent. Everything was well organised, it was just unfortunate that due to a typhoon the Ha Long cruise was cancelled, however we were offered alternative activities which were ok.

Catherine, our tour leader was exceptional. Loved bus tour and sights we saw. The Rocky Mountaineer was also a stand out. The cruise was unbelievable. We loved it all!!! This tour is a great mix and well organised.

visiting sandacan was a highlight for me and a tick off my bucket list the jungle areas the wildlife but especially the people we met the natives our group and especially our tour guide all was of the best things i observed experienced. would totally recommend this to all and sundry thank you trip advisor....a grteat experience .

The whole holiday was a highlight for me. Lots to see , a great iteneary with some free time . The guides were great and informative, especially in Mulu National Park and Clay plus the bus driver we had for 9 days, excellent.

Everything was perfect

loved the entire Vietnam experience and was happy how well planned it was. - suggestion : was great when we arrived at new location-ie, Hoi An, that our guide arranged an immediate night time river cruise etc at our extra cost on night one. this was great as we had a feel for the rest of free time. at HoChin - same thing arranged but on last night. wish it was first night Hanoi - spot on as arrnaged first morning.

I absolutely loved the whole trip. I have not done a tour for 40 years, preferring to "wing it" instead. I wondered how I would go, being confined to a tour but I thoroughly enjoyed it and will do more. I was delighted with the high standard of accommodation provided and the route that was taken. The tour guide, driver and co pilot were outstanding in their knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond. They were a great team and worked well together.

The holiday was amazing, very good value for money and loved the fact we didn’t have to organise anything. In saying that, it would have been good to be able to have a choice of flights to be booked, rather than just being given flights.

Hoi An was a favourite. Definitely recommend the flight upgrade from Vietnam to Cambodia rather than long bus ride. All guides in each city were excellent !

Cruise was fabulous (first time cruiser) Buffet great, room adequate and kept clean by staff etc. entertainment magnificent variety etc.

We loved everything about Vietnam, all the places we went where an eye opener. Our tour guide Lee that we had in the North of Vietnam was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable of the places we visited, friendly and lots of fun. Most of the hotels we stayed at where fine, we would of liked a hotel closer to the town in Ninh Binh, we stayed at The Reed hotel and it was just a bit to far out. We had never done a tour before, but would highly recommend this trip to others and will definitely do more tour in the future.

This is my 3rd Trip a deal but hopefully not my last. Nothing was missed, their flights very well organised, accommodation was awesome

Excellent value for money. Really well planned itinerary which made the most of the time available and allowed us to experience the whole of Vietnam.

We had a fantastic holiday. Better than our expectations which were pretty prior to leaving already pretty high. All three of our guides, Huy Nguyen, Thao Vo and Mr Tien did an amazing job, very attentive and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. The standout guide for our group of 18 was Huy. He did an excellent job and had quite a good sense of humour! We all learnt so much from them all, not just the usual sightseeing locations but general day to day things that we found so interesting. Hotel accommodation was excellent as were the pools and all of the coaches we travelled on were of a high standard, clean and comfortable and well supplied with bottled water. Meals supplied were always large and generous. Can't say anybody in our group is a fan of Viet Jet Airlines though used on our internal transfers. Based on our experience I would have no trouble recommending Trip a Deal to my friends and family

Loved the tour guides, your management of transport and accommodation, the clarity of paperwork. While both China and Mongolia were wonderful countries Mongolia came out on top for me as it was such majestic scenery with a clearly nature based culture and way of living. Oyuuna was just the best tour guide and I would have preferred more time in her country

Seeing the animals and the jungle - driving through the mountains

We loved the whole experience with Trip A Deal. Guides were on time, extremely helpful, and very informative about the tours and Vietnam itself.

The Tokyo accommodation was excellent. The Cruise more than met our expectations. Perhaps could give more information regarding movement around Tokyo - eg the rail systems only deal with cash or IC cards!

We were able to see the So called BORNEO BIG 5 animals in their natural environments along the river, plus river otters. Some sleeping arrangements (Beds) were a little Hard/rough, but overall a good trip.

Entire trip was phenomenal. Flo and Adam were great ambassadors for Trip a Deal. Flo was knowledgeable and very entertaining. We saw wild orangutans, elephants, probiscus monkeys, lots of other monkeys, crocodiles and some amazing birdlife (including some Hornbills!). Cannot recommend this experience enough.

The entire holiday was honestly perfect. The best international holiday we have been on. Communication from trip a deal was great, we never had to follow anything up and the flights and accomodation we had were AMAZING!

Amazing experience! Fully recommend people to do this tour. Our Guide Dom was amazing and went above and beyond to make out experience enjoyable. Papai the bus driver was also incredible and navigated our trip with smooth passage! To see Pygmy Elephants and Orang-utan in there natural environment was superb, amongst all the other animal's. The Borneo Nature Lodge 2, was an amazing experience as well. Thank you to all involved!

To be honest l can’t pick my favourite activities as everything we did was amazing. So are planning another trip. The best was our guide Lucky Khan, he was the highlight, l think your best guide in Vietnam.

Loved varity of activities - something for everyone although some were quite busy with other tourists - naturally. Good communication and information from tour guide throughout.
