The safari at Kruger was amazing! The guide was fantastic too! The lodge we stayed at was beautiful! The pool, the views, the food, the staff and the free roaming animals! Wow! Also Cape town was beautiful! Having a couple of free days towards the end of the tour was great!
I had a fantastic time on this holiday, all of the guides were wonderful, very helpful, and very patient with those in our group that all ways had something to complain about. (There are all ways a few). So, I must complement our guides, Terry, Lilly, Dominic, Keven and JJ they made the trip enjoyable, and we learned so much about China in the process, they were all ways happy to answer any questions. My highlight would have to have been the Terracotta Warriors.
I loved the whole trip. It was well organised, a great variety of excursions and tours. The guides were great and the accommodation as well. Too many highlights to list. The group was really lovely as well.
Accomodation was good specially Milwaukee lodge and Hilton at Cape Town. Great Safari experience
I recently went on this holiday that was exceptionally well-organised. The tour guides were outstanding, and I was able to visit incredible sites in Vietnam and Cambodia , ticking off some major bucket list items. I particularly appreciated the perfect balance between scheduled tour activities and personal free time. I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone looking for a fantastic and memorable travel experience.
The tour was interesting highlighted beautiful scenery and ancient sites. It shows the big improvement of Chinese infrastructure, air quality, streets cleanness comparing with 20 years ago. The tour also provide cheap price with optional tours so most of tourists can join it.
The accommodation was excellent. Great to see giraffes at the back of our cabin in Ndhula. The itinerary was not rushed, allowing us to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Being a small group tour was good. Everyone got on well and we shared a lot of laughs. Luba, our guide in Cape Town went above and beyond. The best tour guide we’ve ever had.
The tour guides were generally excellent save for one who seemed a bit stressed out for a short period. Locations of interest - all good. Hotels - very good. Extent of walking in Forbidden City a bit of a chore for some people. Value for what was on offer was very good. Overall, a great package with everything delivered as promised.
Wow what an amazing country. We had a wonderful trip, the sites were truly amazing. We had a medical issue early on and I cannot speak more highly of our tour guide Mohini. She came with us to the emergency department and without her assistance the whole process would have added to our stress. Thankfully it was at night so didn’t interrupt our schedule but it did interrupt Mohini’s down time. Sorry but thank you Mohini for not making us feel terrible about the whole situation. We saw some really wonderful sites even though those deers were a little aggressive 😂. A tipple of Sake on our boat cruise was a lovely added bonus and so relaxing after our busy schedule. Accommodation overall was excellent even though our 2 nights in Tokyo were very small. I’m sure adjustments needed to be made due to Expo 25. Breakfast’s were varied but there were ample variations to suit most people I’m sure. We took advantage of the optional extras bar one. We really enjoyed the Macha tea making experience plus the additional visits on that day. Name badges would have helped to know our fellow travellers early on. We slept well (beds were fine). Sad we didn’t see Mt Fuji but these things happen. Can’t forget our bus driver for the majority off our trip, Akasaka 😉 he was so polite, professional and friendly. Thanks again to our tour guide Mohini who was professional , polite and always had a smile on her face, which was no mean feat considering our large group. 😘
traveling around Japan seeing both the new and old fortunate enough to see mt fuji would be great to have a welcome and farewell get together to meet everyone on trip rather than seeing them for the first time on day one of the tour
Thahh was a great guide & our interactions with guide Dat were also top rate. The bus driver was sensational throughout - loading/unloading bags, happy attitude, using his drone to take a group photo. Hotels were generally good - central locations. Meals supplied were ok. Had an issue with the food/drink service at the Sheraton 4 Seasons - happy to get our feedback. Additions to the program were very good - going to the villages, organising bus lunches. The scenery was amazing - the river, the mountains, forests & the cave.
The places the trip went to, both what was included and the optional tours were excellent. All thr tour guides were also very informative, very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and friendly.
It was perfect. All went smoothly and our tour guide Elenora was the best, keeping us safe and informed at all times. All accommodation was excellent, with delicious breakfasts daily.
Very full on days we were lucky to have a great lot of people China a great place to visit felt save at all times Amanda great guide
This was a very well-organised trip. The tour guides were fantastic, catered for all our needs and seemed to care genuinely about our well-being. The hotels were satisfactory, no issues. Vietnamese people on the whole are friendly and lovely and we had a fantastic time!
We actually can’t fault you on anything, it was all amazing.
Accommodation was excellent. Johannesburg/Ndhula/Cape Town Safari experience was excellent. Long flights ---- but necessary. Felt more like a holiday (not as rushed as China Trip A Deal). Loved Cape Town and surrounds. Tour guides were excellent and well spoken and informative. Overall, THANK YOU for all your work.
Our entire trip was fantastic. Our guide Po Han (pork chop) was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and ensured everyone on the trip was accommodated. Accomodations were all good however given the hot climate accommodation with a pool would have been welcomed. Thankyou trip a deal !
Our trip was amazing. No real issues. Our guide was brilliant.......knowledgeable, funny, organised.......recommend him (Rajesh) to anybody! Our bus diver was excellent, felt safe with him. A few more different activities would be good, Sumo wrestling, Yokohama Landmark Tower would be great additions.
I loved all the animals, that we saw. Fantastic
Everywhere on the holiday was a highlight, travel guides in each city were absolutely fantastic and they are very knowledgeable in their history. They welcomed us warmly and smoothly put us all into our hotels each city. Hotels were absolutely awesome all 4 or 5 star hotels with beautiful comfortable beds every night. Coaches are very comfortable and roomy to move us about on the tours. For me each day was a highlight. The early morning dawn visit to Angkor Wat was absolutely magical something I will be talking about for a long time. Truly an experience one should put on their bucket list to do.
We loved the animal safari. It would have been good if one of the optionals were included in Cape Town.
Hoi An was informative. The guide, although a bit hard to understand as he spoke quietly and the bus was noisy, was able to tell us lots of history of the area. He took us to tasty place to eat. Mr Pine was also very informative, I wish I'd chosen a few extra days in Saigon to explore the area more. Han Oi was also very interesting. Again I needed a few extra days to explore the area more. The trip to Ha Long Bay was very restful even though there were a lot of tourist boats about the number on the cruise was friendly. Han Oi accomodation was better the second time we had a room. the first room, although twin share was very pokey.
Loved the tour guides and how well they organised everything. Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh were the highlights
Taiwan Tour with TripADeal -A Truly Memorable Experience We are a group of six who recently returned from the Best of Taiwan tour with TripADeal, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Right from the start, Libby from TripADeal was incredibly helpful, answering all our queries promptly and ensuring everything was well organised. The tour itself was seamless, enjoyable, and full of unforgettable highlights. A special mention goes to our tour guide, Pohan, who was absolutely outstanding, knowledgeable, warm, engaging, and always ready to help. His local insights, sense of humour, and attention to detail really elevated the entire trip. Flights & Arrival Flying with Cathay Pacific was well worth the extra cost. The schedule worked perfectly, with over two hours of transit in Hong Kong. Upon arrival in Taipei, immigration and customs were a breeze, quick and efficient. Although we initially wished we had arrived a day earlier, the 8 AM start on the first day turned out to be manageable. Tour Highlights Day 2 was packed with fun: releasing sky lanterns, shopping, bubble tea, and the charming old town of Jiufen. A visit to the National Palace Museum, followed by an exhilarating high-speed train ride to Taitung, was both cultural and scenic. We absolutely loved our stay at Inn by the Village, great location, local music, and a vibrant night market nearby. Riding e-bikes through the rice fields was a top highlight, peaceful, beautiful, and a unique way to explore the countryside. The Breezy Blue train ride and cultural exchange with indigenous communities was both informative and enriching. Our stay at Holiday Inn Express, Kaohsiung was one of the best hotel experiences on the tour. Big thanks to Pohan for recommending the nearby chicken shawarma eatery, it was almost five stars! The temples and pagodas of Kaohsiung were majestic and peaceful. The excursion to Alishan National Park was absolutely breathtaking, lush forests, fresh air, and serene trails. Sun Moon Lake was another incredible highlight. The climb to Cien Pagoda was well worth the effort for the views and tranquility. Taipei Free Day We took full advantage of our free day in Taipei. Following Pohan’s suggestions, we visited Taipei 101, the Grand Hotel, and Shilin Night Market, each place offering a different slice of the city's culture and charm. Tips for Future Travellers Currency exchange for Australian dollars can be tricky, options are limited. Consider bringing some Taiwan dollars in advance or using a card with low foreign transaction fees. While Visa and MasterCard are widely accepted, small vendors prefer cash, especially in markets or remote areas. We highly recommend the Taiwan tour with TripADeal. A well-curated itinerary, great accommodation, smooth logistics, and a truly passionate tour guide made this a trip to remember. Thank you, TripADeal, for an unforgettable experience!
We enjoyed all the highlight but inparticular Hoi an and Ho long bay
Geisha dinner Visit to post towns Mt Fuji Osaka aquarium Overnight cruise to Osaka Kyoto Hiroshima visit Cormorant dinner
The warriors! Everyone of our tour guides were excellent
Every day was an adventure. I especially loved staying at the Jungle resort and everything that came with it.. Seeing so many animals actually in the wild was breath taking. Dom the tour guide was fabulous. So informative and charismatic. He made sure everyone had a great time. The tour group was wonderful.
Highlights were Hiroshima and the Toyota Museum. We were very lucky to have Yusuke as our guide. His knowledge of and passion for Japan was excellent.
Be closer to city centre if you want to explore when you have free time
Very well organised and controlled. Excellent tour guide. Of the five TaDs I've toured, the Taiwan accommodation was the best.
The tour was well organised. Hotel accommdation was good - breakfast at the hotels could be better. The tour guide (Pohan - I think that's how his name is spelt - was very accommodating, understanding and attentive to every one needs - even went out of his way to ensure that everyone was comfortable and well looked after - couldn't ask for a better tour guide.
Ability to book seats. Liked the fact that it was all Australians. Flexibility in schedule ... eg, we had a typhoon and didnt go to Mt Fuji but did it later.
Clay, the guide, made this trip excellent. His knowledge his passion and his care were outstanding.
Our guide Rose was great.Bus captain was great driver and friendly Good variety of places visited and 32 people a good size for a bus trip Hotel selection was good firm pillows would be a extra to have. Food in Japan excellent
Lots of great attractions, Grace and Mr Shiigai were amazing. Very rushed though.
The DMZ trip was very interesting, educational & eye opening. The hotels were excellent, the itinerary easy going, no early starts or long travel days.
Everything was so well arranged by tripadeal. We felt very safe and organised. The extra tours were the best. We had a lovely sense of seeing the true Vietnam and Cambodia. Transport was great. The meals organised by tripadeal were fantastic. All the guides were lovely great fun and informative.
Lake Louise in Banff was like emerald, and Peyto Lake so green it felt unreal. Standing on the Columbia Icefield was breathtaking. Yellowstone was alive with steam vents, boiling mud pools, erupting geysers, and wildlife sharing the road. Alaska was even more stunning — glaciers mirrored in the morning light, with blue skies, floating ice, and calm seas blending into one perfect scene. We were lucky to see pods of whales twice, and countless salmon fighting their way upstream. The only regret was not spotting a wild bear — something to look forward to on the next trip.
Overall was great truely every day was a discovery learning, Hiroshima was the best, the tour guide was amazing so much accomodating, helpful funny , we were so amazed with all the knowledge about history and everything we would like to know. The only thing if the bus were provided with power points to recharge the phones, and if we were provided with earphones to listen the tour guide while we were in the move.
We were very pleased with the tours, perhaps one too many temples. A tour to a typical Japanese village to experience their way of life and taste their local food or the countryside would be nice.
Animals/Local Culture
The Tour Director was fantastic - extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient with a good sense of humour. Accommodation was surprisingly good - and ideal that accommodation improved as the tour progressed. Loved the unpredictable wildlife encounters and also the war memorials. I think more Australians need to know and appreciate the efforts of our allied forces in Borneo - the locals certainly acknowledge and highly regard our efforts. The tour group were also a great bunch. We were very lucky and enjoyed spending time together.
Highlights were some of the magnificent scenery, interaction with locals and learning about Central Asian culture. There were some long travel days in Uzbekistan, which could have been shortened by the relatively cheap bullet trains, a suggestion for the future!
Flores Island culture and history
Every day in Japan is an adventure, and we’re having the time of our lives! A huge shoutout to our amazing tour guide, Lin. She’s not only incredibly knowledgeable but also such a warm and friendly person. I can't wait to hop on board for another journey with Trip A Deal!
Most enjoyable holiday
Loved tour director. Driver was excellent. Mt Fuji and Hiroshima were highlights. Improvement could be better accommodation but we realise limitations and got what we expected, so no complaints.
Thought the holiday was fantastic enjoyed every moment of it
Loved the tour guide so knowledgeable, patient , caring are a credit to their country. Love the Han Long Bay experience. Especially the upgrade to the top suites. Phu Long Reserve accommodation was beautiful amount the side of the mountain. Luckily we were on The bottom close to the pool. Would not have liked to go up those steps to top level. Found the slate steps were very slippery when raining and took my slides off coming back from massage. The pool bottom was also slimy which everyone commented on. The food there was also not up to scratch but sure they will work on that in future. This trip is not for the unfit or disabled person. My husband and I would still say 10/10 for our experience. Looking forward to my fourth trip with Trip a Deal next May to celebrate my daughters 40th Birthday to Dubai, Italy Puglia regions and Greece. Thank you Trip A Deal
The Pride of America is a great and beautiful ship. The staff were amazing. Hotel in Waikaki was very nice. This trip well worth the money.. the volcano was erupting on our shore tour amazing to see. We had the extra days to our trip worth doing.
I was very happy with the tour I took - Grand Japan. First time travelling on my own and no experience of this type of tour - I was a bit nervous about what to expect. We actually had a lovely, friendly group on the tour, and our tour guide encouraged us to get to know one another which was great. I was impressed by the variety of inclusions in the tour, as well as the choice of the hotels - near to shops and eateries which really helped us organise our down time. Hotel quality was generally higher than I expected. Our tour guide Dragon was very sweet and made a big difference to our enjoyment. He looked after us like a mother hen and made sure we were happy and well, and that we saw everything on offer. The coaches were very comfortable and the airconditioning very welcome in what turned out to be an unseasonably hot visit (35C+)! Dragon gave us a lot of background to all the sights and kept us well informed about options etc. I can't pick a highlight as I fell in love with all of Japan on this tour. So many must-see places, I'm just going to have to go back! I can recommend TripADeal without hesitation and am already making plans to do another tour with them.
It was a perfect taste of the Japanese culture & the some of the landmarks in Japan. Our knowledgeable guide added to the experience.
We loved that the tour was well organised. We loved the Safari and seeing and experiencing all the animals was out of this world . The accommodation was really nice. Food awesome and our guide for the Safari was called Polite. He was so helpful and very knowledgeable so let them know . All in all it was an awesome experience Thankyou
We loved it all. The only glitch was that Duncan's return ticket had been lost in the Singapore Airlines system at Cape Town airport but this was quickly resolved by Michelle Gray who was excellent.
Well organised, great tour guide (we learnt alot about Vietnam culture and history) thanks Tan & our bus driver Lois. Driving through the mountains in the North East not an easy task. The mountain tour was absolutely fantastic with amazing scenery. Waterfalks were stunning. Vietnam has so much to offer and the people are so friendly, not to mention their cuisine (tried alot of different foods - delicious). Accommodation was 4-5 star. Loved Cao Bang. Ha Giang loop. Our group were great travelling companions. Picked up some tips along the way as this was our first time. Travelled on Bus, bamboo boats, speed boat, motor bike. Had it all. We definitely have great memories and would like to go back again soon. Thank you 😊
Our Guide - Trang was amazing, full of knowledge and imparted it with feeling, to the delight of all the Tour Group. The coach driver was also amazing, negotiating the roads with great expertise. The only negative on the whole trip was the state of the bus that took us to Halong Bay. It was very dirty and grimy, the seat belts did not fit any of us - even the smallest person. Two tour members hit their heads severely and needy medical attention. The diver was maniacal, overtaking erratically and hitting every rut in the road. Not an enjoyable trip either way!! However, despite the one negative - would thoroughly recommend this trip, value for money, beautiful scenery, great food and accommodation.
The tour was excellent, and I truly appreciated how well everything was organized throughout our journey in Spain and Portugal. Malena did a fantastic job looking after every one of us, always going above and beyond to help anyone who needed assistance. Jovi, our driver, also deserves special thanks for making sure we had a safe and enjoyable trip—always navigating the routes with care and professionalism. The guides and drivers in Morocco too worked together seamlessly, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Apart from some of us experiencing gastro issues in Morocco, the trip was very well-organized, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone who made this tour memorable. I highly recommend this experience and appreciate all the hard work and dedication that went into making it such a success.
Loved every bit especially Florence and Dubrovnik
Guides in Cambodia and Vietnam were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Staff on the Lan Diep were amazing and really made us feel at home. Trips/excursions were great.
It was good to see Singapore for the first time, having transferred through the airport numerous times. The ultimate was the stay at the Maldives. Loved it, loved it, loved it. This is the best island resort we have ever had the pleasure of staying. We have been to Bali, Phuket and Cook Islands in the past, but this tops all of those places by a country mile. We wish we were there for longer. We have plans to return.
Hotels were good, well located, great breakfasts. Guide was polite, proactive, patient and competent, good communication. Vehicle was modern and comfortable. Optional tours were enjoyable, value for money, thorough and well paced. Tented lodge was a fantastic experience with excellent facilities and food. Safaris were beyond amazing. African hospitality was warm and friendly. Nice group of fellow travellers, 12 was the perfect size. I didn't like being taken to a gemstone showroom.
Fabulous holiday highlights were pyramids, abu simbel, valley of the kings and Nile cruise
It was full of beautiful sights, tour guides were excellent, accommodation very good and a great bunch of people we got to meet and travel with.
The leader was very effective and pleasant to deal with. All accommodations were of high standard. The itinerary was well balanced.
The accommodation was excellent. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. The safaris were incredible. The optional tours were fabulous. A truly amazing trip.
Liked exploring the main towns of Japan including Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka. Hiroshima is very moving and solomn. Enjoyed Mt. Fuji. The days on the bus were very long and arriving at accommodation between 6pm and 7pm could be improved. If I did Japan again I would travel by train.
The crew on the Pontoon looking after us during the Reefsleep were incredible and could not do enough for us. The same goes for the staff on the Camira cruise to Whitehaven beach. The Coral Sea Resort was a great place to stay. One improvement could be having the free day in Airlie Beach between the 2 tours rather than at the start. Also it would be nice to have the option to keep the room rather than having to check out and then back in after the Reefsleep.
Loved the iconic sites and how easy it was to travel there on a tour. Also loved the optional invitation to attend the sumo wrestlers training session and the option to attend a Maiko Dinner - both things we would never have been able to see and the most memorable and enjoyable events! Yusuke was extremely informative and helpful with local knowledge, and our bus captains made us feel safe and relaxed on the bus.
We travelled with a great guide and a fantastic group of 26. Everything went smoothly and we had the best time ever. Hotels started a bit basic (Elopura Hotel in Sandakan) but the got progressively better - finishing with the optional 2 nights at Rasa Ria. Our thanks to our guide Phyllis for making everything go seamlessly. We will be booking yet another Tripadeal tour within the week!
Scenery was fantastic. The tour guide( Billie) and driver were excellent- both knowledgeable and entertaining. Another day in Sophia would have been fantastic- such a beautiful city.
The guide was especially good Ophan was well organised. Everything went according to plan but he was flexible when necessary. I loved that we were (mostly) away from The tourist treadmill. The accommodation was excellent. Even The two star hotel had a comfortable bed and great views. The local guides were a bonus. Their local knowledge added an extra dimension to the trip. A special mention to the driver and his offsider in Flores who took especial care of us.
Great variety of experiences. Fantastic guide in Capetown. Most accommodation was outstanding.
This was the first time i have used Trip a Deal and i wasnt disappointed. Some items maybe for consideration, but overall a good experience. The highlight was the reef sleep. Staff were fantastic from the port to pontoon. Food excellent, staff on pontoon, Amy, Olivia and Jeff, plus the chef and the caretakers were brilliant. I would highly recommend the trip. It was well organised all round. Submersible, scuba and snorkel were all great. I would recommend maybe informing guests there is no need for towels, as they will be supplied, plus showers are available and there is some storage for your small bags. On the boat out all reefsleep and suite patrons were afforded reserved seating, great however it was more centralised in the middle and maybe should have been at the windows, to allow people to see out. I can understand maybe the central logic for briefing though. Camira boat trip was ok, we didnt end up in the inlet, nor did we receive any notification that we wouldn't be going there. That was disappointing but understood with the tides etc but surely the company can foresee these issues and provide earlier correspondence to advise people. Accommodation was great at the coral sea resort. Highly recommend keeping this location. The only scheduling and sequence might be something that might be looked at. Doing reefsleep, getting back at 6pm and then checking in to hotel again only to get ready again for another early morning for biat trip felt rushed and tiring. If there could be a day between the activities , it would be better. We had a blast, will look at trip a deal again.
Great accomadition especially the glam tented accomadition at Nahula for our Kruger trip .The safari trip was beyond spectacular hard to describe plenty of WOW moments
Great value for money, tour inclusions we’re elite and a really interesting and varied itinerary.
Organisation (travel and accommodation) first class Excursions revealed true South Africa real life (land, people, wildlife, etc) Enjoyed every minute Our experience suggests this tour appears best suited to quite fit persons up to about 70 years of age; very tiring as we were on the go from the time of our arrival in Johannesburg. Would have liked transport details earlier in order to access flight seating
We’ve travelled extensively and I think we’ve decided this might just be the best destination yet! The trip was well organised with great accommodation & we saw the Big 5 & much more. One thing we would change would be the drive from Kruger to Johannesburg, we would have preferred to fly. Otherwise a magnificent holiday, so good we are now looking at doing the TAD 5 Star Africa trip.
Loved the glaziers, the rocky mountaineer And the ship Value for money
The trip was amazing. I loved the hotels, seeing the variety of monkeys in the rainforests, river cruises were such fun! The only change I would make is make the Farewell dinner to the last night before either continuing on or flying home the next day.
We just loved experiencing Japan this way! Whilst short, we covered a lot of ground and saw the sights we want to visit again!
It was a busy itinerary. We saw a number of animals, including Orangutans and the Proboscis monkeys. Our tour guide in the second week (Dom) was enthusiastic and knowledgable. He provided lots of information regarding the wildlife of Borneo and also some insights to the history of the country.
Loved the boat ride at in the river to see the wildlife
Excellent activities. Very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Comfortable accommodation.
Loved that at the end of the day we were near to either night markets or restaurants. Visiting Indigenous areas and learning their history with singing and dancing was brilliant. Haroki Village was a bit obscure with limited historical relevance more like a day market in small buildings. Alishan mountains was beautiful to walk through and seeing three generation trees. Sun Moon Lake I would have preferred to use the gondola rather than the walk to the pagoda it was a difficult climb and the view of the lake would have been the same. Loved the Blue Train experience and Jacqueline was very knowledgeable. Our driver was excellent especially driving up the mountains. Our guide Florence was brilliant she shared her love of Taiwan and had an excellent rapport with the group.
Loved experiencing a new culture (although all the motorbikes take some getting used to!) When you have no real knowledge of a place this tour was a great way to see and experience as much as possible. I would like a bit more time to wander in each place however I know I chose the trip. In future I would choose to arrive at least a full day before tour begins - We only arrived at hotel at 8.30pm and tour started at 7.30 next morning. Like wise the same at the end of the trip All guides were great but particular mention of Jennifer in Hoi An - knowledgeable, friendly and fun - she went above and beyond (we had a couple of people who needed extra time/help with negotiating events.) Nothing was a problem to her.
Totally loved the night on Halong bay on the junk boat. The food and the sightseeing was amazing and loved the cabin, we were one of the lucky ones to get a small balcony off our cabin. The walking tours were great to learn a bit about the people living in these cities and also the domestic flights i between the cities we stayed in. The extra tours were great we did most of them, thank u tripadeal and the tour guides for offering these to us.
Love the cultures and friendliness of the people. Highlights being the visits to the Grand Palace and the old village of Busan. I was also amazed with the number of large local made cars that are not available in Australia. They looks stunning. Foods also interest us in this trip. Lisa is very competent and helpful. Love everything about this amazing trip.
Singapore stopover a good option. Kruger national park, knowledgable guide Tent camp accomodation and facilities great. Old Bank hotel staff great. Capetown guide Gavin excellent Cape of Good Hope tour great Small friendly group Overall great value for money. Improvements? Some will feed back Old Bank noisy (not for us) but made up for by service and staff at bistro.
Well what can't I say about this wonderful tour Sri Lanka and all inclusive Maldives ,the tour leader Don affectionately known as"its Don its good, made this group his happy family and it sure was the 22 in the group all worked in well together the accommodation on the whole tour was of high standard, the tour coach was spotlessly cleaned every day by the assistant and the driver was great, boy could he manoeuvre the coach through some very awkward situations Sri Lanka is a very clean and friendly Country the highlights of tour were outstanding and the Maldives at the end of the tour as you can see in the brochures was the perfect place to relax let your hair down and enjoy your new found friends,so if you are reading this and looking to a great holiday look no further.
Silvia the Japanese guide and the driver, Dekawa san, were fantastic and made the trip that much more enjoyable.
This was such an Amazing holiday. It was so much more than I could have imagined, everything we saw and did was just perfect. Such a fabulous experience…🙏💯🥰
Very informative and educational. Well organised. Both guide and driver were very helpful. Good trip. Minor suggestions - traditional bibimbap dinner was a bit cold (e.g rice, soup). Would be nice if they were hot.
Highlights - scenery of the mountains and waterfalls was beautiful. Loved walking through the villages and seeing the day to day life of the people. Accommodation was very good, lovely soft beds and good food. Everyone was very friendly and happy. Cities beautiful at night time.
I really enjoyed the tour, especially the one-day Panorama tour, Chobe National Park and the Victoria Falls. Loved the hotel in Victoria Falls.
We had an amazing tour leader, Dragon who worked incredibly hard and was always available to help e.g. when we arrived at a hotel for the night, Dragon would remain in the lobby of the hotel for half an hour to help with any queries, such as where is a good place for tea or how to operate the washing machines. He even came to the airport with our group to assist with getting people through the airline booking process. My highlight was the Maiko dinner, where we had a wonderful tea and got to ask the Maiko questions. My other highlight was the Hiroshima visit to Peace Park and the museum there. The bus drivers we had were fantastic and I always felt safe on the busy Japanese roads.
All went very smoothly. Mike Ridout was a great tour guide and was really helpful with everyone and assisted them with other options and connections. The only unsatisfactory accommodation was the Hey Guesthouse in Interlaken. Basic room, no air-con and only a fan. Breakfast in their hotel was excellent, so maybe look at using the Hotel for accommodation instead of guesthouse. Being a bit more mindful of airlines used, how long stopovers were, given the amount of time for Aussies to get to starting point instead of saving money for the company would have been appreciated. 36 hours travel was way too much.
I loved the fact that you took into consideration my heath issues, with suffering from MS. The room at the New Yorker was absolutely fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The only down side was we had to travel from Hobart Tasmania, and with only 4 weeks notice on our flights, in was expensive to travel from Hobart to Melbourne and return. We always go the day before any International flights and stay at the airport hotel, coming and going to allow time flights.
