Excellent guides. All 3 knew an awful lot about their country. Very impressive!
We really enjoyed this trip, but the two massive highlights were Ha Long Bay Tour and Ba Na Hill Tour! The tour guides were very helpful, experienced and a joy to learn from. Food was delicious with the option to choose, transportation was a breeze and well organised and the hotels were 4 - 5 stars!!!! We overall really did enjoy our time in Vietnam and Cambodia, however one suggestion we have is minimising the amount of temple tours, to potentially have some days where we see more scenery. Temples were beautiful but I think we missed out on seeing nature. Highly recommend this trip through TripADeal :)
The diversity of activities. The order of of the activities was well thought out. The guide Rowland was informative and entertaining. He genuinely cared for the group.
Excellent tour guide. Tour was well organised. Some accommodation excellent, others below par.
Stayed at some really nice hotels. The tour guide Sujee was excellent lots of local knowledge and well organised. Loved the safari’s and travelling up to the tea country. Also appreciated some down time during the trip and being able to enjoy the lovely facilities of the hotels. Would definitely recommend this tour
Bus - good Hotel - from poor to excellent Breakfast - good Destination’s - most were enjoyable Yalla National Park - exceptional, highlight of trip
The absolute highlight of our trip was our host Duc. He introduced us to his Vietnam so we felt immersed and comfortable from the very start. The first stage of our trip was a beautiful introduction to Hanoi, Ha Long and Pu Luong with a mix of energetic activity and relaxing, and good food everywhere we went. We could easily have gone home happy after this but we also booked the extension. The extension trip was a contrast with the coastal atmosphere of Hoi An, and the eye opening Ba Na Hills optional activity, then the bustling city life of Ho Chi Minh, but it made us feel like we had experienced as much of Vietnam as we could.
The itinerary was great and some of the guides were fantastic other were too focussed on upselling the options. Our tour group were awesome which made the whole experience better. The cruise was very average , I am not sure who set the schedule but wasting a whole day doing nothing on a boat sitting in one place is dumb. A better way to do it would be to sail and give people a day In chongquin to explore at the end. Spending hours at an airport is also a complete waste of time in China. The tour guide seemed happy to dump us at an airport with hours to spare or waste a whole day around travel without any sightseeing . The last thing I will say is that every tour guide except one only concentrated on the tour highlights not once did they explain sights as the bus was driving along which would have been easy to do Don’t get me wrong the above are feedback and we loved the trip to China. And the sights were amazing Craig
we had a great time , would love to have a little more free time at the resorts first day - but overwise a lot to do in a short a mount of time
The entire trip was amazing. The Great Wall was a dream come true. I loved Shanghai, such a modern vibrant city . So well organised. Value for money +++++++Southern China Airlines were excellent. Our tour guides were excellent. Alice In Beijing gave 200 percent of herself. She is such a advocate for the service . Professional, informative , caring, helpful and ensured we all learnt about the Cities in China we visited .
The holiday was well organized it went very smoothly our stay at Singapore and the Maldives were ones to remember
Scenery, sights and tour leaders were all great. A few small number in the group complained about one tour leader in Xian but we thought she was terrific. Only thing would have been to get some earlier train rides as we seemed to arrive at hotels very late in the night on a few occasions and then had early starts the next morning.
Our South American holiday was excellent, and the inclusions were fantastic value. The Galapagos Islands and Peru were the highlight and our tour guides on these sections were outstanding. In Peru we had Willington (Velencia Travel) and his knowledge and organisation skills were incredible. We did not need the other local guides provided in Peru and felt the extra tipping for these guides was excessive. The additional activities offered were all outstanding however we prepaid these activities prior to leaving Australia through TripAdeal and we found generally that they were cheaper to purchase once on site.
It was as advertised. The guide went out of her way to add value to our experience
We recently returned from TripADeal’s China tour visiting the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the outset, communication was excellent, with regular and clear updates via email. Even when we had a small hiccup departing Perth—leaving 2.5 hours late and missing our connection to Beijing—both TripADeal and Cathay Pacific handled the situation exceptionally well. Cathay Pacific was incredibly organised, providing accommodation, meals, and a new flight the following morning. We truly couldn’t fault their service at all. Using the TripADeal emergency contact number, I was able to quickly notify them that we wouldn’t be arriving on time. The communication and support we received were outstanding, with updates passed on to all relevant parties. Being able to connect via WhatsApp was also a huge plus and made the whole process seamless and reassuring. When we finally arrived at the hotel, the staff went above and beyond, contacting our tour guide, who promptly arranged transport so we could meet up with the group. Everything worked out perfectly, and from that point on, the trip ran very smoothly. The tour itself was fantastic. Our guides were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also highly humorous, bringing so much energy and laughter to each day. Travelling with a great group of fellow Australians and New Zealanders added to the fun, and we shared many laughs along the way. The highlights, from walking the Great Wall to seeing the Terracotta Warriors, were unforgettable, and the cuisine throughout the trip was delicious. This was our first experience with TripADeal, and it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to planning our next adventure with them!
Ankor Watt was a fascinating destination. Overall very interesting.
I went with my partner & we really enjoyed everything. Ending at the Maldives was the best thing. We could just relax for 4 days.
The small group was great, the locations and hotels were good. I loved the energy of Dong Van. We think the buses should be fitted with working seat belts - most of our were broken. Water on board would be great if kept in esky on ice. It would be even better to reduce plastics by carrying a water dispenser and ensuring everyone has a metal or glass bottle. Phone charging points would be nice but our guide did have a charging bank. Many hotels had no black tea eg English breakfast and we couldn’t find in the shops so that could be valuable. I encourage our guide to continue English language and pronunciation lessons as there were many times when I couldn’t be understood and it took us all several days to pick on some unusual pronunciations
We thoroughly enjoyed Kruger National Park. Having lions walk alongside our truck was just remarkable along with seeing Leopards, Impala, Elephants, etc. The Chobe National Park was another great opportunity to view more wild life and the river cruise was amazing - relaxing while being close to the animals along the waters edge. The Zambezi Sunset River Cruise was a luxury vessel with comfortable seating and great views. Well organised with the odd small exception.
Hotels were great Food was terrific Great group of fellow travellers to enjoy the trip with Guides were great
Pretty much everything. 35 great people on our tour, with an unflappable guide Filip who just delivered on every front. Together with our driver Slavic we felt safe and the priority in this tour. The TAD tour was a pretty comprehensive package of iconic locations along with a few less known out of the way places, we expected this and it delivered. The camaraderie on our bus, humour and the interaction between the group and guide was key to its success. Accommodation was also excellent. Additional guides in many of the locations made the visits a feature, with a lot of background and history shared. For us visiting the sites on our journey is only part of the even, learning from knowledgable guides is essential. Overall we lived every aspect of the Beauty of the Balkans tour…
Loved it all. Great to see some iconic places. Could have include a few more evening especially in Sri Lanka as difficult to know where to go, epically when staying at locations where there were no choices except resort. Transport was comfortable, guides were great and knowledgeable Would have been good to be aware of what places were for stops to get lunch when travelling in Sri Lanka I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to visit this area if the world
Japan is a beautiful, green country. The ride from bottom to top was mainly thru mountainous country and was done at an exceedingly slow pace. The cities were great but nothing beat our travels thru the mountains. Japan and its people live to a different beat of the drum and it was so refreshing. So was the air and the drinking water. A major highlight was out tour guide. Nothing was too much for her. She worked so hard to meet our needs. Almost like a mother hen!! She was a highlight and I think the whole group agreed. Our driver was calm, very proficient and his driving was so smooth. Japan, the tour and tour operators could not have been better!~!
The guides King, Rocky and JZ were amazing. We were a group of 9 they were always very friendly and helpful. The itinerary was excellent and hotels amazing. We all would go back again. We suggest giving the link for the online entry into China before hand as there were delays and frustration at the airport trying to submit the entry cards.
Well organised Great guides Great accommodation Travel good Fabulous experiences
The entire tour was excellent. The accommodation was luxurious. We are so happy that we were able to stay at the best hotels in Sri Lanka. We loved the range of the hotels- resort style, vintage tea factory turned Hotel, double tree by Hilton etc We really liked our tour guide Arch, the Driver and the Tour assistant. Arch was very professional, provided educational information, answered all of our questions and was very nice. He was organised and did the Tour very well. Every day that we entered the boss that Tour assistant gave us a different flower. When it was someone’s birthday, the Tour assistant decorated the bus with balloons and Happy birthday decorations. We got to learn a lot about Sri Lanka. We got to learn about the history, art, society and its different industries like the tea . We have already recommended this Tour to our friends.
Elephant safari and history
The balance between exploring days and free days was perfect to be able to get the most out of my 8 days.
Standing on the great wall, visiting the site of the terracotta warriors and Tiananmen square were all inseparable for me, [simply awesome and expiring], Shanghai by night river cruise also is a must do, as was the cook it yourself hot pot lunch. The only negative for me was that some of the hotel included breakfasts were more on the cold side, [apart from the eggs which were always hot], coffee was more on the warm side too rather than hot. This is not a complaint by any means, [just stating the obvious], as did other members on our tour.
The trip was well organised. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the holiday from Copenhagen to the beautiful Norwegian fjords. We loved Stockholm and Helsinki. Ferry trips were great as was the train journey. We would have preferred extra time in Copenhagen and Oslo.
It was incredible journey full of excursions, visiting historic and modern sites, parks, museums. The highlight was Great Wall of China, though i love every single place we visited. Our tour guides were amazing! They were ambassadors for their country and shared with us many interesting facts and stories. They looked after our group very well. The whole tour was beyond expectations. And now I strongly recommend this tour to all my friends and colleagues. Thank you so much, Trip a Deal! It was absolutely wonderful tour!!!
Trip was excellent, could do with some down time as it was full on with all the train trips.
The itinerary was excellent, well put together. More free time to explore and rest would have been perfect, cherry on the cake. China was beautiful, clean, felt safe and locals friendly. The local tour guides were informative, friendly and helpful. Special shout out and thank you to Jack and Robin. Cheers! Definitely will visit China again.
Eric our tour guide and our wonderful bus driver made us feel safe and well cared for . Could not ask for better. Trip was good value
We loved seeing China! What an amazing country. Our Beijing tour guide Vanessa was very knowledgeable and caring. She made our trip so easy. I particularly enjoyed learning some Chinese symbols while we traveled on the bus. Our tour guide in Shanghai Thomas was also wonderful. He shared lots of knowledge and helped us order some delicious Chinese food. He gave us great guidance but also gave us time to explore areas on our own.
Visited the great wall, forbidden city and terracotta warriors are the high light of the trip followed by slow paced Suzou and Hangzou trip which combined man-made dutiful Gardens and natural beauty of West Lake.
The jungle animals were a superb experience and Brendan our guide was the best ever. Really I have nothing to complain about this trip it was extraordinary and of unbelievable value. Never to be forgotten. Thanks Trip a Deal.
Great trip. Well organized. Robin and Jack great guides. Give the option of less shopping and add something cultural as an option. Would suggest more time at The Great Wall as its was an amazing place.
Great venues, hotels and guides.
I thought it was great a great way to see as much as possible
had a great time
Very impressed with the guides we had and the amount of things we did and saw in china In the early week of the tour it was fast paced but enjoyable We arrived in Shanghai after a long travel day then we were straight into it next morning It was the general consensus that at least half a day of free time before starting the sightseeing would of been good Also more detailed info regarding the cruise room upgrade prior to arriving on the ship would of been appreciated we all felt that the upgrade was more about the dining experience than the room But cruise was a great experience overall Can I add that at no time during the tour or cruise did we feel pressured into anything it was all optional
great wall was a bucket list item and it was well worth the long journey, wish i could of stayed longer and seen some more of different parts a true wish list moment
Great Wall , wish I could have stayed there longer Terracotta warriors was amazing . I was really pleased to actually meet the only surviving farmer who discovered them . The way the tour was organised . The tour guides were amazing and looked after . Many thanks to Echo , Lily and Peter .
We loved all the destinations, although Zhangjiajie and Guilin were the highlights. We had fabulous guides - especially Merrick (Li) in Guilin. He went way above and beyond to make our time in Guilin even more memorable. There were 4 more optional tours than was listed in the itinerary, which meant unexpected costs of many hundreds of dollars. These tours should have been included on the itinerary so the correct amount of money could be budgeted for. One was a dinner in Chengdu, two were in Zhangjiajie (Glass Bridge, and Tianmen Mountain), and one in Guilin (Reed Flute Cave).
I did this same deal last year and liked it so much that I did it again. It's a really relaxing holiday. The resort is friendly, well catered and peaceful. The flights are long and tiring but there's no alternative. There's a fair chance I will book it again for 2027. Everyone who goes should do the swim with sharks and rays - it is an extraordinary experience.
My friend and I had an excellent time in Phillipines. Well planned trip.. We have no complaints. Our guide Jonas was a top guide. He was extremely helpful and guided so well. I have been recommending this trip to my friends. Loved it
I loved every minute - another great Trip-A-Deal destination holiday. We had a wonderful mix of Aussies who made the trip so much fun and I’ve made lifelong friendships. South Africa has so much to offer from the cities to the safari. Each tour and destination had wonderful staff and services on offer - maybe a guest laundry along the way but not a game changer (quite expensive at safari lodge as cost In Euros and Radisson hotels expensive). The highlight for me was seeing the ‘Big 5’ in the wild - our guide Nash made it his mission to find them all, and the full day trip in Cape Town : we saw everything on the bucket list in comfort and our guide Mario was very informative. The airport shuttle in Johannesburg and driver pickup in Cape Town was a bonus from a safety perspective. An improvement would be to spend 5 nights in Cape Town on the extended itinerary opposed to stopping a night in Johannesburg after leaving the safari, as we essentially lost a day. Highly recommend staying at the Radisson Foreshore in Cape Town as it allowed for easy access around the town and convenience to the CBD. Consider having all guests on the Cape Town itinerary to be on the same flight from Johannesburg: leaving 2 of the 11 behind on a later flight didn’t feel right to us.
Loved majority of our trip. There was one hotel which was placed close to the railway line which was super noisey in the early morning and they had a wedding one day so we were unable to have lunch there. We LOVED OUR GUIDE DULIP. Such an asset and such a character. He was amazing letting us know about other things to see and do and organizing it all. One suggestion may be to stay closer to Columbo on the last night so that there wasn’t as much travel. But overall brilliant we loved it thank you.
For me: The Great Wall in Beijing and Terracotta Warriors Xi'an Well Organised Tour, Knowledge Tour Guide: Echo, Lily, and Peter
Experience was 5star, calibration of tours, guides, transport, transfers, experiene and ability to organise everything at the time and point of need. The guides, Nina, Maggie, and Serena, and their ability to put all guests at ease, and were 100% attentive and assisting with the language barrier, and general country variances, knowlege of the regions history, and the overall passion for the job. China is an amazing, surprise of a country, the shear mass of population, their ability to plan for future, and overall safety and cleanliness of the cities, as well as the gardens and greenscape was a pleasure to enjoy. A country steeped with history, production, manufacturing, respect and modern all in one. Thankyou for a wonderful experience.
This was our first 'tour' holiday and was pleasantly impressed. From how knowledgeable, caring and considerate our guide Eric was, to the behind the scenes organisation of our places to go and see. Was in awe of the bus driver's talents. Loved the tour group - a great group of people who made the trip even more enjoyable with laughs and camaraderie. It's was the perfect balance of 'tourism' and 'relaxation' with the 4 days at the Maldives. The smallest improvement would be for the tour guide to give us some language tips. While it was reassuring that most people knew English, it still would have been nice to be able to say Hello or Thank You in the native language.
It was a fabulous trip. We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife & cultural experience's. Very impressed with the Sandakan Death March museum. Overall the whole tour was great, our tour guides Flo & Mammat, they took great care to make sure we got the most out of our trip. They were the best, really added to our cultural experience tremendously. There was one disappointment, the last meal we had was in a wedding reception venue, it was awful, there is so many wonderful eating places in KK. It took away from the special time we could spend a fun night with our ‘newfound friendship’ we had made on the tour before saying goodbye. The Hilton was great, and wonderful for the last few days. Thank you for this experience and I will certainly be booking another tour with you
It was a wonderful experience. The open land of the Gobi and its creatures were amazing. Having learnt about the Gobi in primary school, it was a privilege to actually be in the location. It was also a privilege to meet the nomad families and experience their way of life. Every adventure and experience that was provided on the trip was appreciated. The sky in Mongolia is just out of this world.
Where to start... Tripadeal, great package, went way above our expectations and so easy as soon as we got off the plane... totally recommend. Our guide Steve, was amazing. Did everything he could to make the trip memorable and comfortable for everybody. His dedication to us all was so respected and well received as he was always ensuring everyone was having the best time, and Noone got lost! Above and beyond. Long days of big bus journeys, travelling from place to place, but to be expected with sooo much to see in such a beautiful country and a short timeframe. We wish we'd booked a longer tour, we were not ready to leave! We will definitely go thru tripadeal again. Oh how we miss Japan already!
Our 10-day China adventure was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we were greeted at the airport at 1:00am until we were dropped off for our return flight home, every detail was exceptionally well organised. The highlights were undoubtedly visiting the Great Wall of China and exploring the many incredible UNESCO World Heritage sites throughout the tour. Each destination was brought to life by our knowledgeable and passionate tour guides, who shared fascinating insights into China's rich history and culture. A special mention must go to the whisper devices provided throughout the tour. They made it so easy to hear the guides clearly, even in busy and crowded locations, ensuring we never missed any of the important information or highlights at each site. One of the most unexpected joys of the trip was our wonderful travel group. We shared so many laughs and memorable experiences together that we have all stayed in touch through WhatsApp. What started as a group of strangers quickly became what we affectionately call "Jerry's family." This was our first TripADeal experience, although many others in our group had travelled with TripADeal before. After such a fantastic trip, it's easy to see why they keep coming back. We are already looking at the Sri Lanka tour, and because we had so much fun together, many of us are hoping to book another adventure as a group. Thank you, TripADeal, for an amazing experience. We created memories that will last a lifetime and are already looking forward to our next journey.
The trip to Mongolia through TripADeal was amazing… My first experience with both, and from beginning to end, the experience was exceptional. It exceeded my expectations. Travel Buddies and our guide Nasa filled our days with visiting unbelievable ancient sites, hiking, eating with the locals, and comfortable Ger accommodation proving dreams do come true. I had the opportunity to hold an eagle. (Photo attached). We were mostly seniors and Nasa ensured our needs were met and accommodated. Good toilet facilities, showers (most had hot water) and comfortable sleeping arrangements). The guide was very friendly and helpful. It would have been good to get a bit more commentary along the way during the long road trips to learn more about the area, people and country, but overall Nasa went above and beyond and looked after us all very well.
Experiences and accommodation in Cape Town with an excellent local guide as well as at Buffalo Rock. Organisation and logistics by Trip a Deal was excellent with everything running like clockwork Good value for the money
Loved the variety, great cultural experiences and amazing wildlife encounters
All the places we visited. The tour guide Dom was so well informed and knowledgeable. The lodge accommodation was a bit primitive and very basic.
Best part of our holiday was our tour guide he couldn’t do any more for us such a lovely fella and a pleasure to be around most of the motels were beautiful to stay in first time with Trip a deal will not be the last.
Accomodation was perfect every were meals were delicious
The Great Wall was surreal and Shanghai Harbor was stunning! Loved all the green spaces and the cleanliness of the whole country. It was all entirely stunning overall. My only suggestion would be more transparent about the optional tours. We didn't realize until after we were on them they we had to pay, which was by no means an issue for us as it was still a fantastic deal. However other travelers didn't realize and most of them used Ally Pay and it left at least 2 in our group short for other activities. Also the day we went to the underground market we went to the French Quarter where we all for most part would have liked more time for lunch and less for shopping.
Everything was very well organised, we did not have to worry about anything. Most enjoyable. All activities were fun and interesting. All accommodation was comfortable and especially finishing at the Hilton was a treat.
An absolutely fantastic trip! Everything was so well organised, and the guides were truly outstanding. Every stop was memorable, and I loved every moment. I only wish we could have stayed even longer at incredible places like the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, and Wuxi — they were unforgettable!
Fantastic trip from Cape Town to Victoria Falls. Accommodation was great and all the guides and drivers were very friendly. Chobe National Park was the best although the 2 hour boat cruise was a bit disappointing as the boat was to big to go through the shallow parts of the river were there were elephants and hippopotamus to see up close, I probably would have preferred and extra 2 hours on a safari. But all up excellent trip.
Couldn't ask for better value. The only thing I would ask for is that the guide at one stage asked the group to opt out of some optional activities rather than opt in, and some people didn't hear the message and were then surprised that they had been signed up. I think when working with Australians it's always better to get them to opt in rather than opt out, to be sure that they definitely want to do the activity. The guide was truly excellent and let everyone do what they wanted anyway, so this is just a suggestion to prevent miscommunication in future. It was an outstanding tour and package.
This was my first time to South Africa and first experience with Trip a Deal and it was the trip of a lifetime! From start to finish, the booking process, the accommodation, the local guide we were matched up with and of course, all the stops and experiences on the journey was amazing! This trip really exceeded my expectations of booking through a tour company. I would 100% book with Trip A Deal again and will be reviewing them very highly to my friends and family - especially this particular trip! Shoutout to Nathan (our local guide in Cape Town) who was an absolute wealth of knowledge and made, what I'm sure would have been a good experience, even better! Also Leonie and the team at Bellevue Forest Reserve - wow what an experience! Cannot thank you all enough!
The tour was so very organised! The hotel was fantastic, plus the Tour Guide were all polite, knowledgeable and very accomodating. Its all worth it :)
This was my first visit to China and first time with Tripadeal - Wow! I really had an amazing experience all round. The pre-departure communication, the flights, the accommodation, the tour guides, the group and of course everything we saw and experienced was excellent. I am already deciding on my next trip! Highly recommend and excellent value for money.
Loved everything from beginning to end. As a solo traveller I was apprehensive but I needn’t have been. Everyone got on so well and looked out for one another. The accommodation at each section of the trip was great and comfortable. All excursions were fantastic and the tour guides little side excursions to experience the local culture were an added bonus. The tour guides in Saigon (Zedd) and Hoi An (Tom) were exceptional and went above and beyond. Tour guide in Hanoi however seemed not as present (Zoom) and was a little dismissive. All in all a great trip and have no hesitation in recommending Tripadeal. Will be booking another trip with you guys as soon as I figure out which faboulous one to experience next.
We had great time on this trip. It exceeded our expectations and was amazing value for money. We had Amanda, Sophie, Bruce and Charlie as our guides and all were very organised and informative. We loved having local guides and learning about their culture. Everything ran very smoothly. We were very impressed with all hotels and the breakfasts provided. It is very fast paced tour but we expected that. Our only concern was the very short transit between flights on the to China, we almost missed our flight to Beijing due to very short transit time coupled with an earlier delayed flight. I understand the delay could not be helped but it wouldn't have been such an issue if we didn't already have a tight transit. The option to arrive earlier in China would have improved that situation. All in all a great trip!
Accommodation 5/5 Some aspects rushed and not enough time at others Would have liked more information about surroundings on bus whilst driving Didn’t like Beijing zoo Loved summer palace but not enough time spent there Motels not always in best location although they were nice Bit pushy on optional tours and in Beijing wasnt really given a choice to not go Great holiday overall Boat was excellent 5/5 highly recommend was so good to reset
I just loved the whole trip. Accommodation was great - no complaints at all. Guides were knowledgeable and caring. Loved Halong Bay - we had a great singalong on our overnight stay on the boat. Found coconut coffee and is now my all time favourite!
What an awesome trip and the Tour Guide Dat Nguyen you could not ask for anything more, an absolute treasure for Tripadeal
What an amazing holiday, of course the orang-utans, monkeys, sunbears and animals were brilliant but The river cruises were fantastic, the sunset views from the tea plantation, the stunning manukan island, the Hilton was great , for us it was so well organised, the guide, paul, and driver juan, were fantastic, seeing all different aspects from mountains, river and rainforest just brilliant 👏
Everything went according to plan. Our guide was very knowledgeable about local history and locations and 'read' the group well. She was very helpful with additional personal queries and always got back to me. We didn't get much time in Venice and Rome, but timing was noted in the itinerary! The cruise ship was very big - lots of people. People embarking and disembarking at every port is not ideal.
It was suggested that on the first night or two of the travelling part of the trip, that dinner for the whole group be included. This will enable the whole group to connect & get to know each other for the remainder of the trip.
The stone mountains near Emeishan. Fantastic scenery, plenty of times for photos, impressive infrastructure
My holiday was the 5-star Warriors of China, and it was amazing. Our tour guides were great. My favourite one was our last guide, JOJO. She was amazing, went above and beyond for us. Needed something from a chemist; had it delivered to us within the hour. Could not thank her enough. The tours were all amazing, also did a lot of things that I would not do if I was not on a tour, which was fantastic. My favourite moment was climbing the Great Wall of china was just amazing, a real pinch-me moment. The people in our group were great. It was like a little family. can't wait to book another trip a deal holiday. Thank you for the best time.
All destinations were fantastic, particularly the terracotta warriors. Great Wall was good, but the steep steps in this location made movement quite difficult, particularly in the wet.
Very organised, tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. The places we saw were amazing. Food options were great, never a dull moment, if you wanted to have leisure time you had the option, the extra tour options were good. Great value for money. Because we didn’t pay a lot for the deal that gave us more money to spend in China.
Wonderful tour of China. We really enjoyed the experience. Got to see all the beautiful places. Hotels were comfortable and nice.
The guide Bohan was great, and the whole tour was a great taste of Taiwan.
All hotels were amazing. Every experience was incredible.
Tour guide Kirk is a nice person and he gave us a wonderful experience trips. Everyone in this tour are amazing and we enjoyed it. Highly recommend everyone should go and visit.
Excellent trip, variety of experiences - nature, history, culture, ticks bucket list. Flights, transfers, transport, were coordinated. Accomodation great standard.
Loved every minute of this trip. Bucket list sites ticked off, weather excellent and tour group were a great bunch of people. Our first two guides, John and Jim were friendly and knowledgeable but our Shanghai guide JoJo was excellent. She was very informative and funny and we laughed for the entire trip with her. If we ever booked another TripADeal it would because of JoJo.
The safari in Minneriya National Park with the elephants, the 9 archers railway bridge and the pole fisherman, also The World Heritage site at Polonnaruwa, the guide there was great, lunch at a restaurant on the way back was great, lots of dishes, very very good. Our hotel in Kandy was great, but didn’t get to enjoy it. The Nuwara Eliya tea plantation was also great. We fitted a lot in a short time. The country was nice and green. Most people were polite, and also the pole fisherman.
Warriors was a highlight. Shanghai great city. Guides were fantastic. Accommodations good.
Sightseeing Hotels accomodation Shanghai City night cruise Great Wall of China Tour Food
Organisation was good although our flights via Frankfurt to get to Sardinia extended our travel time and EU border exit process more difficult than it would have been with better flights. We accepted this as a necessary diversiion around the Middle East crisis. Bus quality, driver quality and guides were excellent. Guides clearly knew their subjects although delivery by two of them was a little detailed and more difficult to digest. the so called 'whispers' were of limited quality and difficult to hear. Hotel quality (4-star) was good as were the meals. Tour route selection was excellent, including smaller roads and villages rather than direct highways. We enjoyed viewing the varied landscapes and hearing the incredible history associated with the islands. This was an important part of the trip. Over the course of three weeks walking through quaint but overcrowded streets became a bit mundane and therefore the variety of activities included in the agenda was very welcome. We enjoyed the longer 21 day excursions, particularly given the travel time required to get there and back to our home in Canberra.
Small group of 12, brilliant tour leader Lucky; very safe, expert driver Minh. Quality of the hotels and the buses was excellent. Loved all the locations we visited and stopped at. Good mix of driving and rest stops, and tourist sites. The showroom rest stops were fun. The scenery - amazing! I loved Ha Gaing in particular and could stay there longer myself on a solo visit. Flower Garden Hotel in Hanoi- wonderful - location near the lake, the area is not too toiristy, ambience of the hotel, the restaurant - breakfasts & dinners amazing - very high standard of delicious, fresh cuisine and the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Optional Hanoi city tour - terrific. My one suggestion is if the bus windows could be washed each day or couple of days for better view and photographs through the windows please
visiting Xi'an -love it - if possible, I will recommend staying there one more day. All other places are amazing too
We did a lot of things in a short amount of time. We had Tina for Beijing and Thomas for rest of the tour. They were both very helpful and explained everything in great detail. We felt Beijing part of tour was very salesy as we were expected to tip everyone (the photographer, the lady who prepared traditional lunch for us etc)..China has an amazing culture which is unique to rest of the world. People are very friendly and helpful. Food was great. Sight seeing was informative and optional tour activities were well planned. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely prefer Trip A Deal for more holidays in future.
Absolutely loved our trip to China. So many amazing memories made and boxes ticked off the bucket list. From the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, speed Train to man made rivers it was all fantastic. The team at TripADeal were fantastic. Hats off to the tour guides that know the history, people and culture. Tour guides KING, LUCKY, VIVIAN and FAYE did a fabulous job and would recommend to travel with them any day!
This was our first River cruise and we thought it was amazing. The staff were so attentive, the food was fantastic and the excursions were awesome. We had access to bottled water and snacks all day. Drinks on board were expensive. The extension in Vietnam was OK. Not as good as Luxury Vietnam which we did in 2024! The hotels and locations were not as good. 5/5 for the cruise, 2 1/2 for the Vietnam extension.
Value for money. Great hotels and so many fantastic sights. Tour guide Seven was awesome. Everything always one time and very well organised. Flight times were awful and we were dropped at the airport 6 hours before our flight home!! Would have liked more free time in Shanghai.
This was truly an incredible trip from start to finish. Cape Town exceeded all expectations, with its stunning scenery, vibrant atmosphere, and unforgettable experiences. We took part in all of the optional excursions, each one adding something special to an already amazing destination. Kruger National Park was an absolute highlight. The game drives were exceptional, and we were fortunate enough to see the famous Big Five, along with many other incredible animals in their natural habitat. Watching wildlife up close in such a spectacular setting was an experience we will never forget. The optional helicopter flight over Victoria Falls was also well worth doing. The aerial views of the falls were breathtaking, with the sheer power of the cascading water creating magnificent rainbows through the mist. It offered a completely different perspective and some of the most memorable views of the entire journey. One of the most memorable aspects of the trip was the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Waking up to watch the African sunrise paint the sky with brilliant shades of gold, orange, and pink was magical, while the sunsets each evening were equally breathtaking. Whether overlooking the savannah or relaxing after a day of sightseeing, the beauty of the changing skies provided countless picture-perfect moments and added to the sense of wonder throughout the journey. For us, the standout experience was the optional full-day excursion to Chobe National Park. The abundance of wildlife was extraordinary, and we witnessed countless unforgettable sights throughout the day. From large herds of elephants to a variety of other animals and birdlife, every moment felt like a scene from a nature documentary. It was a fitting highlight to an already remarkable adventure and a day that will stay with us for years to come. Overall, this was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure filled with stunning landscapes, incredible wildlife encounters, unforgettable experiences, and some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets we have ever seen. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone considering it.
