It was so well organised from start to finish . Accomadation was beautiful. A very good mix of activities and down time Guide was amazing and so very helpful My only suggestion would be to add some more optional things to do on our free days especially authentic cooking classes ,places of interest etc
10 days winter season trip was very well organized. Nina our guide in Beijing was excellent, a forward thinker & well experienced. John our guide from Shanghai is a knowledgeable historian. Would be more convenient if the hotel location is more central near CBD especially in Shanghai & Beijing, Overall we will recommend this trip o other people, we will do the same trip in Summer
Flights arrangements timing is good. Hotels are clean and comfortable. Have optional tours that participants want to participate. More guidance on which restaurants to visit at Saigon and Hanoi.
Antarctica was unbelievable. The scenery, the animals. the cruise with its wonderful staff and incredible food. We felt privileged to have experienced such wonderful things.. Great memories for life. Also the hotel stays in Buenos Aires were incredible luxury. TripADeal staff were helpful and efficient and dealt swiftly with any enquiries we made. The flights were well co-ordinated and we found the ground and flight staff helpful and pleasant. I can't think of any improvements which would be needed!
The entire trip was amazing and seemless. The flight connections were good, even though a 2 hour delay leaving Sydney due to a storm caused a missed connection, it was rebooked to a later flight without us needing to do anything. And Antarctica was just magical with Seabourn delivering such high quality.
The whole trip was great but the highlight was the lion chase - our driver took off unexpectedly & was racing the other safari drivers to get to the lion's sighting first. Improvement would be for the operators to have a printed list of the excursions & the prices for each. More safari days would be good.
SwannHellenic cruise on The Vega was absolutely amazing. Could not fault it. Food was excellent, rooms were clean and everything was good. Only improvement could be that they organise maybe Trivia or Bingo as some activities during the sailing stretches to & from Antarctica. Staff on the ship are also very friendly and knowledgeable 👍👍
The quality of hotels, transport and tour guide was excellent value for money. For my first time in Sri Lanka the itinerary was a good introduction to the varied landscapes, wildlife and rich culture on offer. The highlights for me were Sigiriya, elephant transit home and bumping into sea turtles in the waters of the southern coast.
Very well managed and the guides Nina from Beijing and John from Shanghai were awsome and helpful. I don’t see anything to improve, everything provided was perfect. Keep up the great work and thankyou for your service.
The Luxury Antarctica Swan Hellenic Cruise is everything and more than we thought it would be. Flights were on time and transfers were as expected. The pre and post cruise accomodation were exceptional and our time in Buenos Aites was a lovely full stop after a life changing Antarctic Peninsula cruise. The SH Vega is a beautiful high end expedition ship with state of the art guidance and stabilising thrusters to ensure our Drake Crossing was ad comfortable as it could be. 6m swell were still felt but not as much as it could have been. The crew, meals and rooms were definitely 5 star and the whole cruise was run professionally and with precise detail. We experienced 2 zodiac landings or excursions each day including shore landings on the Antarctic continent. The treks were awe inspiring and those majestic sights will stay with me forever. One of the many highlights expetienced was a polar plunge which was definitely an achievement along with the glacier treks. The educational value of the cruise was an added benefit and the expedition team were highly skilled and informative. Best holiday we have ever experienced and words cannot describe the incredible vistas witnessed. A must do bucket list trip!!!
Loved the landings, penguins, pretty icebergs, everything. Food and service on swan Hellenic was top notch.
Everything went to plan .no problems at all. Accommodation was great and appreciated airport pick up in Miami.
We loved our Vietnam for 2 holiday - Duc our tour leader was fantastic- he went above and beyond our expectations to ensure our group had a truly memorable holiday. Our flights, transfers, accommodation and bus travel were all excellent! The daily activities and restaurants were all well chosen and we enjoyed them all! Duc gave us a great insight into daily life and an interesting overview of Vietnamese history and politics which was most appreciated. Highly recommend this tour and we are planning another TripaDeal holiday!
Hanoi hotel needed upgrading. We were led to believe Hanoi is very expensive so although the hotel was comfortable it was old. Halong Bay has amazing scenery but extremely touristy. I am aware there is a similar area just south of Halong Bay with similar scenery and not so busy. Sapa was amazing. Did not particularly like the first day's walk to local village. Would suggest the Glass bridge instead. The 2nd day was fabulous. Hoi An was great and our first evening we went to the Memory Show which was awesome. Unfortunately for the others the evening they planned to go there, it rained. Shopping was great. The Saga Hotel was my favourite hotel. Hue was interesting and really enjoyed the optional tour of cycling. Since we don't cycle, we went in rickshaws which was fun. Had no idea it is such a big city. The Emm hotel is ok. It needs a few details added to the room, a chair, space to use the mirror near the bed. More hooks or shelves in the bathroom. Really enjoyed Saigon, so busy but lots of interesting buildings and air was a lot cleaner than Hanoi. Hotel Paragon was great. Fabulous breakfast. Tai was our guide in the North, great guy and we all liked him. He made great recommendations when we had free time. He sent us links so we could find places easily. Very helpful Hip was in the centre, and she is dynamite. Very informative. Lam in the south - we didn't have very long with her but she was interesting when we went to the Cu Chi tunnels.
We took a complete travel/hotel/cruise package, so everything was organised and coordinated by trip-a-deal. Flights and transfers were on time very smooth and trouble free. Everything was prepaid, so only small out of pocket expenses needed. Being in Antarctica was like being in another world...it was a fantastic unique experience. The Swan Hellenic crew were very organised and helpful. Their daily programs were well communicated, and the locations chosen or each days activities were very good.
It was our first group holiday and our TripADeal Vietnam trip was amazing. Great value and so easy. Our guide Dúc made the whole trip enjoyable, easy and filled with history and fun. He was absolutely amazing and made the trip even better than expected. Definitely worth the money and already looking for our next deal.
Great trip and Duc was a terrific guide.
Had a fabulous trip. Our group was small and we had the best tour guide/driver in Sri Lanka. He made the trip.
We loved the mix and balance of culture, exploring, wildlife and history, as well as the food at all the hotels. We always had Sri Lankan food and western food so plenty of variety and was so tasty! We also had a really great guide (Sithu) who was so kind, accommodating, patient, knowledgeable and considerate. We felt safe and informed with him and saying goodbye was sad, we will miss him a lot! Our driver (Palitha) was really good at navigating the roads and always greeted us with a big smile and some days a flower. The assistant (Janaka) was also super helpful and friendly, also always greeting us with a big smile and looking after the ably challenged passengers with no complaints! We would suggest driving through Colombo on the last day on the way to Negombo before the airport transfer. It is technically a free day apart from the drive back to Negombo, so seeing the biggest city in a country you've just explored would be a great way to finish the trip!
When we landed in Helsinki, we were met by the most amazing guide we have ever met. Marcello was so kind, so funny, so caring & extremely informative. He was able to answer any questions, whether they were about our accommodation or destinations. All of the accommodations were perfect, they weren't 5star, but we were only in the room for sleep & to shower. Breakfast offered at all accommodation was a buffet & offered enough range to satisfy everyone. Taro was our driver & she drove perfectly, very safely at all times. This trip exceeded our expectations, bonus being we were also fortunate to see the Northern Lights. Santas Village & the igloos rooms like being in a fairytale, the heated floors in the igloos were so lovely. We also had a friendly group of fellow travellers on the tour, which always makes a trip a lot nicer. The only optional tour we booked was meeting the reindeer & that was well worth it. The snow mobile ride & the huskies were all so much fun & gave us the opportunity to see stunning scenery, with everything covered in pure white snow. We cannot recommend this trip enough & we know Marcello was a huge part of making this such a memorable journey.
The trip was so well organised from start to finish. Our guides were fantastic with so much knowledge of their cities.
Nepal was a fabulous destination. The trek was challenging, but it was an incredible adventure. Pokhara and the extra scenic flight to view Mt Everest were highlights. The hotels we stayed in in Pokhara and Kathmandu left a little to be desired (esp clean towels and linen). Winter was a great time to visit because there were fewer other tourists. All transfers and flights went as planned and we had no mishaps. I am booked on another Trip a Deal trip in April.
The holiday was amazing . The guides were superb, the hotels were wonderful and day trips organised by tripadeal fabulous .
Our Trip-A-Deal holiday to Cambodia was a wonderful experience. We were considering cancelling our holiday with the raised safety concerns but were reassured by the staff and so pleased we didn't miss our trip. I never felt unsafe, the people of Cambodia were really special. I loved the places we visited, hotels and variety of activities that which gave us a great appreciation and understanding of the country. The tour guides were helpful and I appreciated their assistance with additional activities in the free time we had available. I will be recommending this trip to everyone.
This was our first time booking through TripADeal. We were very impressed with our Vietnam tour. We didn’t feel rushed like some other tours companies therefore we were able to enjoy our holiday.
I love that everything was organised for me, took the stress out having to plan our adventure! Tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable with the local culture. Loved every minute!
We were extremely happy with our recent travel, in fact we have been sharing our deep appreciation for the well organized Tripadeal experience. Over the Xmas period. Our travel itinerary was an excellent introduction to Vietnam and it would be easy to return to explore further. The guides in each capital City were particularly memorable and allowed us to feel really connected to each space, its history and specialities. We loved it all. While Vietnam was very special, it was Cambodia that delighted in ways we were not predicted. We are so glad we choose this combination of travel with the extension days truly allowing to appreciate this fascinating region.
Our tour guide Dragon was the best there could have been. He was very informative, nice , funny, helpful and just great!!!! All he wanted to do was please us.
We had a great Bus Driver and a Brilliant and helpful Guide, Gosia Dominguez. She made the trip educational as well as enlightening, I learnt a great deal from her daily talks on the bus. We had the best weather for the whole trip and even at -35 Degrees, I loved every minute of this trip. A suggestion that would be beneficial for tours longer than a week is to be able to let people know at the beginning of the trip, where there are laundry facilities and what hotels or public laundry's are available close by where you can get some washing done.
The sights and food. Really enjoyed the itinerary. The tour leader and local guides were amazing. Accommodation was great.
Just loved how interesting everything was. Tour guides are fantastic and all but one hotel was fantastic. Only suggestion would be on a longer tour a 1/2 day off at some point would be good as it’s go go go. We have already booked another trip to China for November this year.
The group of people and the memories of all the activities
Loved everything about it. Fantastic
Amazing experience, our tour leader Eliza was absolutely phenomenal. Once in a lifetime trip
We had a great holiday with just the right level of day tours and free time. All our tour guides had local knowledge including tips of where to eat or recommend other activities. The hotels were top notch. Would book a Trip A Deal holiday again and highly recommend to others.
This was our first group tour and we weren't sure it would be our thing. The small group of 16 was great and we would definitely do another TripaDeal tour. We loved the cruise on Ha Long Bay, Train Street in Hanoi, the cycle tour in Hue, and the cooking class in Hoi Ann was so much fun and the food we made fantastic. We booked all the optional tours in advance and would recommend this to others to save the hassle of paying cash to the tour guides. There were further additional tours offered by our guides who we paid directly. Things to improve - Train Street in Hanoi should be a standard inclusion in the familiarisation tour. The mountains in Sapa were amazing; but the included walking tours are not easy as stated in the guide and certainly not ok for those with minor knee issues . We would recommend ditching first day walk and saving your knees for the second day if you have some ability to manage stairs and steep slopes. We were surprised that tipping in AUD was preferred to local currency with the tour guides - make sure to take AUD with you as well as local currency. It would have been preferable for these tours to be offered/included upfront by TripaDeal. There was enough down time to do your own thing - especially markets at night and eating out for dinner. All in all, a great tour with great people and awesome guides - we loved "Hip" in Central Vietnam - her positivity and genuine caring for the group was great - sticky rice! Vietnam is a must - just do it!
To have a tour leader like Marcelo was an absolute joy. He was instrumental in contributing to the success and pleasure of the whole trip. Great itinerary and snow, sauna experiences were fantastic.
Egypt and Jordan are fascinating places and we experienced a bit of culture shock but with excellent tour guides who went the extra mile to ensure our group was safe, happy, well fed and watered, and understood the amazing history and culture surrounding us, we were always in good hands. As often happens there were some difficulties along the way, however the TripADeal WhatsApp chat line meant that issues were able to be resolved. Would definitely use TripADeal again!
THE ENTIRE TRIP WAS BRILLIANT! From the initial contact with your consultants, Mon and Zoe, our holiday was a dream. As well the support from Damian M while we were away. The itinerary was terrific! 1. The three tour guides & bus driver - Mr Zoom, Ha, Tu and Lam where amazing! They went above and beyond; kept us safe and nothing was too much effort. The meet and greets worked so well. Every guide sent WhatsApp messages prior to arrival and a group comm's was set up on day 1 which continued through until our final departure. The daily water provided was very good and extra water was always offered at no additional cost to the group. On our final day, individual pickups were organised for all the group as we were travelling at different times, this was tremendous. 2. The accommodation was great in all locations. The staff excellent, beds comfortable, breakfasts great and our Christmas Eve at the Pu Long Eco Lodge Retreat was outstanding! Best night with staff and guests. 3. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners that were included were all terrific. The suggestions from our guides for places to eat and help in getting to and from was nothing short of tremendous. 4. The included activities were all incredible, historically valuable, accessible, interesting and worthy of visiting. It is hard to select a favourite. 5. The optional activities/tours were tremendous. Not all of the tour group members went on them, however, our guides made each one small group activity comfortable, spent extra time and even provided little extra stops along the way for areas of interest or giving us the chance to learn more about their country. 6. Internal flights were a breeze. Our guides and drivers had us all there and checked in without any glitches. 7. Our safety was the priority of all guides. This was overwhelmingly one of the best attributes of the staff selected. 8. Our touring group were amazing and we have made some great friends. While out of the control of TripADeal, it was an added bonus for us all. Suggestions: 1. The accommodation in Hoi An and Pu Long was too far for us to walk to central areas. Although easily sorted by catching Gab's or the guides helping coordinate the bus for drop offs. 2. Include the following tours into the itinerary: Independence Palace, HMC and Thung Nham Bird Park - Ninh Binh. Thank you TripADeal and those that helped us book, travel and return home safely. We are now looking for another trip to do. The bar has been set very high from our first experience. PS - Too many wonderful photos to include in this review.
The highlights was the husky rides and kirkenes snowhotel accommodation. Love that we had the same guide who took us from Helsinki to Oslo. We had a great guide. We should have done the northbound Hurtigruten cruise as the optional tours such as north cape was better. It was a great trip
Awesome huski rides and reindeers, snow mobiles were to slow with the speed we could go. Time waisted going to and from changing cloths and to actually hve a ride
The ship was fabulous but the flights were way too long. I would prefer to book my own flights in future.
My family loved the safari, amazing seeing all the animals in the wild, Cape Town was beautiful with table mountain views and lots of culture, we loved the wineries too
My daughter mid 20s and I did this tour in October 2025 was just amazing . Great value for money and the group was also wonderful and we still keep in contact through WhatsApp . Mixed ages and all got along. Marta our tour leader was fantastic knowledgeable and local to the regions. She communicated well and to all our needs. My daughter turned whilst we were in Florence and she helped me organise a cake for her which was a traditional made cake from the region which made it extra special. I highly recommend this tour and TripADeal ! We Saw so much in the time span and return flights included from Australia were a great bonus too. Will definitely be touring with them again one day soon.
Absolutely brilliant holiday! Our family enjoyed ourselves so much on this trip. There were so many memorable moments. Launching our sky lanterns, visiting Shifen & Jiufen Old Streets, the magnificent Hualien gorges and cliffs. The beautiful scenic walks and hikes to suit everyone's abilities. The amazing cultural show and walks in the fresh air of the Alishan Mountain areas were a special highlight. And we had so much fun e-biking in the rice paddies of Brown Boulevard! There was fantastic shopping in the street night markets and shopping malls. There was no "duty free" shopping included in this trip [unlike other tours]. Instead we had a great tour of a Pineapple factory where we got to make our own pineapple cakes and eat them! Yum! The weather was great - no sweaty humid days. We ate such delicious food from street stalls, night markets and restaurants. No upset tummies! The local people were so friendly and courteous. There were not many tourists around which was great. No overcrowding of most attractions like in Europe and other parts of Asia. Our guide Florence was absolutely amazing. She was meticulously organised, so friendly, humble, charming and responsive to our requests. She had great knowledge to impart from the history of the places we visited to the best food and shopping areas! Our two bus drivers deserved a special mention too. Mr Tung in Taipei and the other Mr Tung from Hualien onwards were such skilful, smooth drivers. We didn't feel sick winding the narrow roads of the gorges or mountains on various days due to their expertise. And it was so nice to be greeted with a big smile and friendly manners when we boarded the bus each time. The bus was punctual and immaculate each day and we had bottles of water on request. The other tour members from Australia and a Kiwi were fabulous and caring. We had teenagers, people in their 20s to senior adults. We enjoyed their company immensely and we were so sad to say goodbye to them at the end of our trip. Finally, the hotels were great and simply got better and better as we progressed, especially the Holiday Inn Express in various cities. They were spacious, modern with great facilities and free ice creams and expresso machines in the foyers. Laundry downstairs. The breakfasts were fantastic at the hotels. For improvement- we would have liked more time to explore the National Palace Museum in Taipei and a shorter trip on the Breezy Blue train would be nice. Also the 45 minute-cultural experience during the Breezy Blue train stop needs some tweaking. Overall, this trip was truly awesome. Such great value and too many memorable/enjoyable times to include in detail. Well done to the Trip-A-Deal team and thank you!
The itinerary was great! We felt like we got a wonderful introduction to Nepal and got to see many of the key sites. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and looked after us very well. Our driver was highly skilled and no matter the condition of the roads we felt safe. The accommodation exceeded expectations for the star rating and price and all hotels were clean comfortable and provided delicious breakfasts. Would definitely recommend for anyone interested in visiting Nepal!
Our tour guide Freedy was amazing. He went above and beyond to make this holiday the success it was. All Accommodation and transport was great. The included tours exceptional. The only disappointment was the cruise. The ship stopped at several ports but the time we had was sometimes as short as 30 minutes A three day cruise with longer port stops would have been much better. The staff and food was excellent.
Ninh Binh tour was the highlight and great tourist guide, Mr Quan
Well looked after again and enjoyed all of the adventures!
The Egyptologist guides were excellent. It made a big difference to the visits to the pyramids, temples and tombs. All the transfers were easy. All the hotels were very nice. Lots of interesting things to see and do.
Loved the caves, villages, old quarter in Hanoi, Halong Bay and boat. Tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Tour was a great balance between busy and leisure. Would highly recommend to all ages including families.
Our trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand was a truly great holiday from start to finish. We were fortunate to travel alongside two other families who were friendly, fun and wonderful company, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Cambodia was a real highlight. The people we met were incredibly kind and generous, despite having so little. The impact of war has devastated tourism and, with it, the livelihoods of many. Time and again, locals asked us to tell our friends about Cambodia and encourage them to visit again. We would absolutely do that — it is a beautiful country with remarkable people. The tours throughout the trip were interesting and well-paced, offering plenty to see while still allowing enough downtime to rest and recharge. The hotels were excellent overall (with one exception in Phnom Penh), and the tour guides were efficient and knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed hearing their personal stories about family life and their experiences. Our only real criticisms were the flight, which was not direct — we would happily pay a little extra to avoid the unnecessary stopover and halve the travel time — and the organised meals, which could have been a little more interesting and of higher quality. Some locations, such as Ha Long Bay, were extremely busy with tourists (we appreciate the irony), and the description of a “beach” is likely to amuse Australian travellers. We’ve travelled extensively as a family, and this was our first organised tour. It removed the significant time and effort usually required for planning and logistics, while allowing us to see far more than we would have managed on our own. We specifically chose a small group tour, which we think was a wise decision and contributed greatly to the overall experience. A memorable, enriching journey that we would highly recommend. (Family of four - Mum, Dad and two teens).
The location, accommodation and tour director all made the holiday an amazing experience for our family. Marcelo (tour director) provided great insight into all destinations and was available to offer advice on each stop for places to eat and see. Spending more time in a couple of locations may have made the trip feel a little less like we were living out of a suitcase, however we know we may not have seen as many beautiful destinations as a result. The trip has certainly given us some ideas for future holiday destinations! While Marcelo provided great communication while on the trip, the same couldn't be said of the pre-trip communication from TripaDeal unfortunately. Outside of sending an itinerary, there was not much else we heard from them.
Great locations to visit. We loved the locations in Vietnam and Cambodia and it was a good balance of historical sites and current interest sites.
Everything worked well except the flight home which was a nightmare. We had a 6 hr 30 min delay at Johannesburg and we missed our connecting flight from Perth to Brisbane. Our guide at Kruger deserves mention- he was exceptional. Verner?
Seabourn Ultimate Antarctica was the best holiday we have been on. Everything was seamless. The accommodation was fantastic and the cruise was beyond expectations. We loved the Antarctic experience days and spotted thousands of penguins, hundreds of whales, seals and even a large pod of Orcas on our return trip. The only suggestion I could make, is that we would have preferred to do the extra 3 nights in Buenos Aires at the beginning of the trip.
Kyoto was the highlight - more free time would have been an improvement.
The Seabourn approach to this trip was flawless, enabling us to have the best possible holiday.
Loved Vietnam and the quality of the hotels We were disappointed with the Mekong river trip. A Vietnam highlight was Hoi An and Hip the most pleasant tour guide. Cambodia fulfilled a long term wish to see the Angkor Wat complex but Cambodia overall was disappointing As to criticisms the tour at times seemed to rushed
It was an incredible trip! So many animals, dunes of Namibia, Victoria Falls, Fish River Canyon. - so stunningly beautiful. The tour leader and cook (amazing food!) were wonderful, as were my fellow travels. I really loved it. And as a female solo traveler i always felt safe!
India was really a great experience, with a wonderful guide, however a couple of the accommodation was probably below a standard that we have previously had travelling with Tripadeal. Sri Lanka was a bit of unknow due to the cyclone the day before we arrived. Understandably, there was a need for rescheduling of certain events. The guide we had in Sri Lanka was below the level of any tour I have experience. This significantly affected our experience.
This was a very good holiday full of captivating sights and experiences. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, considerate, hard working and fun. Highlights, included the river trips, overnight cruise and rural experiences. The only reason for failing to get five stars is because of circumstances beyond your control. The pollution spoilt the Hanoi experience. On the three day/half days we were there Hanoi scored in the top three most polluted places worldwide. Can I suggest you mention this problem as it could have serious health implications for those clients with respiratory problems. Again perhaps you should forewarn people about the number of tourists. I lost count at 35+ boats on our o/n cruise.People are more accepting if they have been warned that the attractions will be crowded, perhaps emphasise the world heritage aspect- hence the popularity. Overall this was excellent value for money and the small group and excellent guide (Nguyen Thanh) made for a wonderful and memorable experience.
Excellent service by the tour operators and tour guides. Very good choice of accommodations and transport services.
Saw all the amazing animals - victoria falls was exhilarating. Loved being met at the airport after a 9 hour delayed flight dreading that our holiday was stuffed before it even started. Able to ring trip a deal at the airport and my situation was handled wonderfully
Really enjoyed our holiday and liked the variety of places we went to and the amount of activities and free time that we had.
Who welcomed us and helped form a strong tour group bond quickly. The tour leader was incredibly knowledgeable on anything we asked about Vietnam, its history, economy, traditions and beliefs. The tour itinerary was well planned and allowed rest as well as enjoyment. Our tour leader also included a few side stops/events which were welcomed. The choice of site visit’s comprehensive. Our tour group was a good size and allowed us to get to know each other and enjoy each others company
Had a fabulous trip, very well organised, staff, excursions, food and river cruise all excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing ship & hotel accommodation
Everything was great. Our guides Tuan in North Vietnam and Bunny in Cambodia were excellent and engaging. Well organised and easy travel.
Our tour was excellent. Tour guide, Carlos was very informative and he looked after us at every opportunity. Accommodation was great.
We loved the itinerary- it provided a great range of experiences. We loved busy Hanoi and the peaceful mountains. Our guide and Driver were excellent. The driver had some tricky spots in heavy fog and tight squeezes, but he managed the bus with ease. The guide provided great information and recommendations for our leisure time.
Every where we went was a highlight. Seeing the different ways the village people lived was very interesting. Views were amazing. The waterfall was just stunning. We enjoyed everywhere we went. Our tour guide Thanh was exceptional, he was very approachable with any question from any of us. He made life easier with the way he handled our tipping & the way we paid. He was amazing. Plus you could tell he loved his job & passionate about the places he took us to.
Scenery, companions, guide and food were excellent. Flam railway and fjord cruise were superb, as was the Bear Hill Husky ride and complete visit. Our guide responded well to an issue caused by Norwegian railway. Free, independent time was well balanced. More time in Helsinki would have been good.
Absolutely loved this trip! ....Its not a holiday but a full on adventure! ...Certainly a trip to remember! We had a fairly small group on our tour...10 Australians in an overland truck for the 21 nights...A mix of camping in tents and game lodges...fantastic food...animals absolutely everywhere....Our guide and cook made the trip! Informative and well prepared, they took us on a near 6000klm odessy across SA, Namibia and Botswana to Zimbabwe and then back to SA...was nothing short of spectacular! ...not a luxury trip, but its Africa and some of the destinations are very remote! ...Its certainly soul changing and an open mind is a must for this trip!
The excursions, the ship, the dining room, the hospitality of the dining room staff, the cabins, the quality of the guides, the land transport & the food.
Mt Fuji was definately a highlight, we were blessed with perfect weather. I loved the Kyoto option extra day tour. To be honest everything was great if you keep in mind the cost. The hotels are not always in the centre of town but Kito our tour guide would always point out places to eat at each overnight location and where the local supermarket or 7/11 was if we needed anything which was helpful. We had a wonderful very memorable trip.
Highlights of the trip were definitely the Christmas markets. The trip was nice and relaxed with 2/3 nights in each town. I feel like more time could be spent in Prague and Salzburg. George was our tour guide-this is the second trip a deal I have been on with him as tour guide and he always does a great job. Accomodation was lovely-locations were great to be able to go in and out of city if you wanted to explore more. I would definitely go again
Professional customer service. Excellent interaction and communication. Comfortable and efficient transport. Good and clean hotel accommodations. Hotels staff were excellent, professional and understanding.
Eliza our tour guide was fantastic. Very informative of local areas & general knowledge of the country. Well paced and organised trip. Meals that were included were very small. Ok for me, but certainly not enough for a man. The accommodation 10/10 More time was needed for the Santa Village as alot to experience there. We skipped the town walked & talk of Rovaniemi, so we had extra time at the village. Would've rather spent less time in Lulea in favour of exploring Stockholm. Transferred to Airport flight back to Australia, would've been appreciated. Overall, absolutely loved the trip.
The tour was well spaced with plenty of good optional tours on offer. All the guides were excellent especially our guide, Som, in Siem Reap. Som went out of his way to help us. Hoi An and Siem Reap were our favourite places during the trip. From airport pickup in Hanoi to airport drop off in Siem Reap, the tour went very smoothly. Loved it.😀
The flights to Istanbul and return from Cairo were with Qatar airlines were excellent. The adventure through Turkey and Egypt was amazing. A small group of 14 people so plenty of spare room on the bus. The tour guides were an amazing wealth of information and good caring people. The tour through Turkey and Egypt had us soaking up the history, food and culture. Once on the road some days very long and were a test of endurance. However the experience of the sights and adventure outweighed any negatives. Unforgettable adventure to some of the wonders of the world.
Everything - we had a ‘bucket-list’ experience that we’ll never forget. It lived up to all our expectations.
Some of the accomodation was too far out, some of the markets were not operating at the time of the trip but the tour leader and bus driver were excellent and the tour was great overall.
The first night we arrived very late, so we could not enjoy the beautiful hotel or surrounds of that hotel, as we left early the next morning. The Fish Market in Negombo was fantastic, to see how they dried fish etc was really interesting. The hotels were really great, except for one that was dirty but that's not a problem, all the rest were great. It would be good at times if some of them were not so remote, but I understand it's a cost factor. The tour itself was very well run, and the tour guide, driver and assistant were all fantastic. I didn't find Jaffna very interesting and would have preferred an extra night somewhere else, I loved the Northern parts the most; Sigiriya was my favourite and would have loved to have stayed longer there, the highlight for me was climbing the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Nuwara Eliya was beautiful and interesting. The tea plantation was great and good accommodation there too. The St Andrews Hotel was beautiful, great service and perfect touches ( hot water bottle in your turned down bed) and an open fire. Unfortunately because of the weather we could not do the Hortons Plains trek (which we had both paid for) which was disappointing but understandable for safety reasons. The Ella train ride was awesome as were the Nine Arches Bridge and Ella was a lovely little town. The Turtle Hatchery tour was fantastic in Bentota as well. We could not do the Gangaramya Temple ( we had paid for that) as it was closed but due to weather and road conditions could not be helped. All in all it was a great tour, but because of weather condions at times or leaving later in morning because of personal requests, we didn't have a lot of free time, it seemed very busy and a lot of the time was spent on the bus. In saying that, a cyclone had hit the country, so it would have been challenging navigating all areas, we were lucky as we missed it by a day or two, but the weather was rainy and windy and the staff did an amazing job. ( No one can control that) I would recommend the tour, but perhaps a night in Galle or Ella would have been good too. I know you can select to only do the Western/Southern tours instead of going up North, but they were too short. It was a great group of people and only 12 on the tour, which was great. I really enjoyed the tour for the most part and as I said, would recommend it to anyone.
As we have found previously with Tripadeal, this was a well planned and smoothly actioned package holiday. The local guide was engaging and always ready to help. The choice of bus route and side visits gave us a real sense of the culture.. not only current but also of the traditional aspect. We had enough time but not too much that it dragged.
Everything. A stunningly beautiful place. House biats fabulous as were hotels our guide Dominic extremely good always going over and above. Deepo our driver extremely competent.
All the guides were amazing such a beautiful place. Highlight of course all the animals. All transfers were seamless. Coaches fairly comfortable. Husband is tall so he found some coaches a little light for leg room. Overall an amazing holiday and great value for money.
Special thanks to first tour guide and driver in Hanoi - amazing people and extremely knowledgeable. Highlights were the locations and activities in North Vietnam where we spent the majority of time. Everything went almost too smoothly!
Just overall a fantastic experience with a small group tour of 19. We all got on well. Vietnam is a fantastic country to visit from north to south. Safe and friendly. The local guides were excellent for each section (Mack, Miss Beautiful and Lam).
Uniqueness of Antarctica. Knowledge and experience of the expedition staff onboard the “Seabourn Pursuit”. Three free days to explore Bueros Aires was excellent. Trip a Deal might explore the idea of lounge access for customers.
The Great Budda, Oigawa Railway, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kinkaku-ji, Himiji Castle, Hiroshima Peace Park and Genbaku DomeKintaiko Bridge, Osaka Castle, Narai-juku and Tsumago-juku. Great scenery and very polite and helpful people. We found moving the cases from the bus to the hotel that wasn't directly at the hotel, tiring, however understand the limitations. Not keen on feeding the seagulls and the deer. We must compliment our tour guide, Sylvia, for her thoroughness and application to assist not only us on this tour, but all of the travellers. She went beyond our expectations.
It was an excellent trip of Northern Vietnam with a fantastic tour guide (Dat) and great bus driver to navigate the tricky mountain roads. Halong bay was a little dissapointing due to the number of boats and tourists in the area but we had a great time on the boat. Great people in our group and 18 was a perfect number, have made many new friends. China Southern airlines were great, food, ontime, and comfortable economy seats. Overall a very enjoyable trip which I would highly reccommend, also an extra free day in Hanoi at the end would have been good.
This trip was excellent. We visited all the major tourist spots we wanted to see which involved some early mornings and long drives but worth it. The accommodation was great and the meals provided were good too. The highlight was our guide Hassan - he really made the trip!
The tour guide was excellent; professional, organised, friendly and informative. Each day was well organised. The sites visited were interesting, the tour guide knew the best location to see the attraction, where to get good photos and gave us local tips to maximise our visit at each site. It was the right balance of organised activities and free time. The accommodation was standard for Japan but would not meet the expectations of some western visitors. They were well located to be able to get around.
My son and I enjoyed the trip. Our Tour Guide Fotini was great, I have mobility issues so walking tours were not possible but at no stage did I feel left out as she would make suggestions that worked for me. There was a good balance of free time to organised time. The whole experience from booking the trip to it's conclusion was so easy. I will be booking holidays through TripADeal again.
We got to see a lot in a short period. Some people might find it slightly hectic, but we enjoy trying to see as much as possible. One suggestion we would have would be regarding payment for optional tours. We found that we were able to pay for these via card, but we believed that we could only for these in cash yen. We could have taken out less cash, meaning we wouldn't have to carry as much over, and wouldn't lose as much on conversion rates.
Our tour guide was very good, super organised and always explained as much as she could. She organised things in line with the weather, told us the best places to eat and kept everything on the move. We loved Tokyo, the Maiko dinner show, Kyoto by the sea and the tour was great. We would love to go back to Japan.
Destination was amazing
Accommodation was great. We got to see northern lights a few nights which was amazing! Not enough time in some places such as Bergen where we arrived at night and then left next morning! Would have like to see glam railway in daylight not at night. Cruise was amazing - staff and food both excellent!
