This was an unbelievable trip. As a family of 3 we had such an incredible experience and gained a better understanding of the devastation that people of Vietnam and Cambodia went through. We also experienced the beauty of both places and the friendly people and amazing culture. Our tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable - especially Sun, Hang and Rocky.

The whole trip really. Ha Noi and particularly the boat trip along Halong Bay especially the visit to the Surprise Cave is a must. Visited Ninh Binh. Sapa was another great place visiting the Lao Chai - Ta Van village. Next was the village called Cat Cat - Sin Chai with terrific views of the valley. Next was Da Nang with a lovely beach and of course Hoi An. Hue was next and Lang Co Beach. The visit to Cu Chi Tunnles buily by the Nth Vietnamese also should not be missed. Suggestion to improve this trip would be (if possible) a trip to Long Tan.

We loved the Itinerary. It was so well organised making it easy to enjoy and not have to worry about a thing. Hotels were very comfortable with great amenities and breakfasts. Highly recommend and would organise another in the future.

All three guides were very good. Ngoc was excellent, he provided other things for us to do. Such as organised a birthday dinner and cake for one of the group. Gave alternative activities/ideas if it was too hot - brought forward the times going to places. This was my second Trip a Deal trip there as the experience was just a good as the first one. Look forward to doing another one!

Hotel space is too small, it's hard to put luggage and move.

This was our first trip overseas, everthing went well. Vietnam airlines were fantastic 10 out of 10. All tour guides were great special mention to Nini and Jackie. They were so helpfull and where available at any time for us. We loved all of the places we visited Cambodia being our favourite and we scored the New year celabrations. We have travelled as a couple most holidays but decided for a group holiday on the srilankan maldives tour and seriously can't fault it. Our guide Thillanta(Tiller) was unbelievable with his knowledge and willingness to help everyone in the group. As someone who likes to do my own thing it was nice to share experiences but still have the freedom to do your own discoveries. Definitely recommend the upgrade in hotels.

Well organised A variety of experiences

Everything was very well organised. Vivek was our Tour guide for all but one day, and we cannot praise him enough. He thought of everything and made the trip what it was! Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Amazing trip! Our tour leader, Lara, was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Mr Kim, our bus driver, was friendly and very skilled. The hotels were all well-located, clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff. Highlights were DMZ, bibimbap lunch in Jeonju, Busan and our free day in Seoul where we took the cable car to Seoul tower.

The sights, sounds, history and atmosphere of Vietnam are intoxicating. Our guide Nhan Garven was amazing. His knowledge and love for Vietnam is inspiring. He cared for us like we were family. An amazing young man. Our bus driver had extraordinary driving skills.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Mekong River cruise. Our room was good. Enough room to be comfortable. Bathroom was good. Great water pressure and hot water in the shower. AC worked really well, which is just as well given the temps in the high 30's. Food was really good. Loved the mix of salads provided. Good selection for breakfast. Dinner was always a treat. All the staff were friendly and engaging. If you ever encouter Da Da, Bolin and Sreroth in the restaurant you will be well looked after. These young ladies really made our trip our trip special. They looked after passengers with dietary requirements with special care and attention. They assisted less able passengers by bringing over selections from the buffet. They also spent a thoroughly enjoyable hour teaching us the ancient skills of napkin folding, involving lots of laughter and enjoyment. The excursions were good, showing local life along the Mekong. They were at a pace suitable for older "leisurely" walkers (a phrase coined on another cruise we were on for those walkers who were not as fast on their feet as they used to be😁). We had separate guides for the Cambodian and Vietnam tours. Pun, our guide for Cambodia, had an amazing sense of humour. He was easily understood and very clear in his explanations, and happily answered any and all questions. Khay and Bang were our guides in Vietnam. Again, these young men were great. Excellent explanations, easily understood, great sense of humour. Very happy to recommend this tour.

Meeting the most lovely people on this trip. We all still stay in contact. Meeting new people is great.

Amazing trip and well Organised

The tour was just the right length. I felt that we’d seen a lot of Sri Lanka and had many diverse experiences, from tea plantations to beach resorts. Stays are generally two nights, so you don’t feel rushed. The standard of hotels exceeded expectations and all had pools. The guide was knowledgeable and passionate about his country and did a great job. The bus driver was very safe and competent and the bus was comfortable and cleaned daily. Definitely recommend this tour.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Hotels were great, good pace, lots of highlights and The Maldives were spectacular with superb accommodation and food and drink.

Guide Alexi was kind, excellent and informative and looked out for us all the way. Was able to be slightly flexible at times. Hotels were great and located so that evening meals could be sought easily. Our flight times werent ideal and i think that this side of bookings could be improved- both red eye flights each way. Overall great way to see Taiwan.

We had an amazing cultural experience on this India tour. The days are very full and busy, but that’s exactly what you need to truly experience so much in a short time. I travelled with my 15-year-old daughter, who was the youngest in the group, and it was never an issue. The tour really appealed to her because of the variety of experiences. We always felt safe, and our tour leader, Amil, was incredibly knowledgeable and flexible to the group’s needs. Every city had its own highlights — Jaipur was my favourite, and of course the Taj Mahal was absolutely spectacular. I also really enjoyed travelling from Agra to Delhi by train rather than by bus — it added to the overall experience. Food was not an issue at all — in fact, we received more meals than expected, which was a bonus. I’d definitely recommend doing the optional tours, as most of the group participates and you can feel like you’re missing out if you don’t. The only small suggestion for improvement would be offering a nice cold beer on the bus after hot evening activities. That said, the cold water and Coke provided were great. Overall, a fantastic trip that I would highly recommend.

The trip was organised to the T. The Taj Mahal was amazing, as were all the other destinations. The travel around Indian in a plane, train , boat and bus were all easy and fun. Our Main Tour Guide Charlie was great and gave us lots of helpful information , I felt extremely safe and enjoyed every moment. The other people on the tour were fantastic and like minded. I was extremely satisfied with my Holiday and will definitely be booking another Trip A Deal Holiday.

Would have like to see/ go on the Mekong Delta so maybe another day in HoChiMinh. Hoi An is stunning maybe another day there. I would reduce the number of days in Hanoi. Hotel there was average compared to the other cities. Maybe add an optional activity for those with kids such as a water park etc.

What a fantastic china holiday!! The great Wall of China walk was absolutely beautiful at the time it was snowing and this made it more colourful and interesting! Absolutely beautiful! The terracotta soldiers was well organised and very interesting and described by the tour guide too his best knowledge that even ourself learnt and saw more than we expected! Sooshi was beautiful and clean and the bullet train for 5 hours was an eye opener!! The accommodation! Was perfect and more than I expected! Classy and very clean ! China itself was very clean !! Beautiful holiday and I would re visit tomorrow in a heartbeat! Well done trip a deal! Loved every moment of our holiday

The organisation of the tour was outstanding. Our Peru guide Edward was extremely knowledgeable, well organised and very professional. He made the group feel like family and ensured our safety.. No request was too difficult for him. Taiwan is a fascinating destination jam packed with amazing diversity in geography, food, culture, history and so much more. I was not aware the country has 16 Indigenous tribes which added another layer of interest. Visiting the National Palace Museum was a great place to start the tour. Other highlights were the Taroko National Park, Sun Moon Lake where it would have been nice to stay overnight, and Alishan National Scenic Area. We had a lovely group of 26 and all hotels were very good. Our guide Anne was excellent at keeping us punctual, was very knowledgeable and helpful however on a number of occasions once off the bus she took off without waiting for everyone and therefore those at the back could not hear her and sometimes did not know where she had gone. Our two drivers Mr Wu and Mr Du were exceptional at navigating the windy roads and kept us safe at all times. If you want a whirlwind tour of the island of Taiwan TripADeal is the one for you but be prepared for some very long days where you are left wanting to see more but don’t have the time – or in my case the energy!

Very well planned tour and excellent choice of accommodation for most of the trip

It was a fantastic trip, made even more enjoyable by our tour guide Flora and bus driver Mr. Eom. Both were highly experienced and knowledgeable, which really enhanced the overall experience. They also went above and beyond by taking us to additional spots not included in the itinerary—such as a beautiful cherry blossom-lined street and a stunning beach—which made the trip even more memorable.

The whole experience was fabulous from booking , information, flights and the tour. We will definitely be using Trip a deal in the future. We had the best time and have so many great memories. The only thing that could be better is a direct flight option but otherwise we are very happy customers.

The group we travelled with were excellent, as were the guides in each location. Vietnam and Cambodia are amazing places to visit. Guides were very knowledgeable and fun to work with. Honest and transparent at all times. Buses were comfortable and air conditioned. Hotels were all in good locations and best places were easily accessible by foot or transport.

We had the best driver(Arbe) & tour guide (Kenro). They worked very well together in fine tuning our trip. Very informative. Always had an answer. If they didn’t know. They would look the answer up & get back to us later. The only thing that I would say is that we would have liked an extra day in Kyoto to see the Golden palace. On out last night in Sapporo we organized a night of Sumo it was great fun. You think of adding something like that to your schedule. All in all a great trip.

The trip went smoothly from beginning to end. Although departing via my home airport would have been more convenient. The guide was most professional and informative and the bus driver competent and gave a sense of security on all the roads we travelled from highways, small towns/ villages, climbing mountains or descending hair pin turns. We travelled through the 4 main islands, visited UNESCO sites, saw amazing scenery and participated in some wonderful optional tours including dinners and traditional shows. having a small group on a comfortable sized bus. We travelled on the bullet train, had cruises around magnificent lakes, saw Mt Fuji and other snow capped peaks and visited volcanic areas with bubbling lava and steaming vents. We had the opportunity to have a soak in hot baths in our well selected accomodation. Our accomodation was centrally located near transport, restaurants and convenience store for meals and snacks. A truly magical holiday providing an insight into Japan, its landscapes, culture and history.

The trip was fabulous and made special due to our guide Yuka! She was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. She ensured everyone’s needs were met and went the extra mile to ensure we leant about Japanese culture .

A value for money, well planned and organised tour providing a taster of Japan. I enjoyed the mix of cultural and historical elements of the tour. Ranu our tour guide was informative, well organised , personable and went above and beyond to give us a memorable tour. Ranu’s local knowledge was very beneficial and appreciated. Our driver had excellent driving skills making the journey smooth and safe. Most of the optional excursions were well worth participating in and I was glad that I did them. Hotels on the whole were what was expected, with breakfasts mostly average. An additional free day in Toyko would have been great. The added bonus was seeing cherry blossoms in all states of bloom everyday!

Overall the itinerary was pretty good,, enjoyed Peru highlights.

The experience was first class all the way from the start to the finish. All guides were great with the knowledge they have of their section of the tour.

Loved Sri Lanka- our guide Sirjit was excellent as was his assistant Sam and the driver. Sirjit went above and beyond to make our journey safe, interesting, comfortable and informative. He is a passionate Sri Lankan and Budhist and shared his love of his country to give us a real understanding of its culture. Our all inclusive visit to The Maldives was the best holiday experience ever. Fantastic food, accommodation, experiences and staff professionalism.

The cherry blossoms at Osaka Castle Ben was an incredable guide who was determined that we see Mt Fuji despite the changable cloud cover and we got to plan C before we got the incredible views of it.

Very well organised, Anne was very caring and knowledgeable. Hotels were very comfortable and well located. Bus very comfortable and drivers very good.

It was an excellent travel experience, one that we will cherish for a long time. From the moment we began our journey, everything felt exciting and full of promise. The change of scenery, the fresh air, and the sense of adventure made each day feel special. We explored new places, met interesting people, and learned more about the culture and traditions of the destination. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was simply being able to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Whether we were walking through scenic streets, tasting local food, or admiring beautiful landscapes, every moment brought us joy. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we felt comfortable and happy throughout the entire trip. We also appreciated how well everything went according to plan. The accommodations were comfortable, the transportation was smooth, and the overall organization made the experience stress-free. This allowed us to fully focus on enjoying ourselves and making the most of our time together. What made the trip truly special was the opportunity to share it with each other. We laughed, took photos, and created memories that we will always look back on fondly. Every experience, big or small, contributed to making the journey unforgettable. The highlight was Tokyo. We loved every minute of it, and it reminded us of the importance of taking time to explore and appreciate the world around us. First Trip A Deal experience and absolutely loved the Japan Cherry Blossom tour, made even better by our amazing tour director Ben and bus driver extraordinaire Mr Miyagi-San!!! Highlights would have to be seeing Mt Fuji, the sumo experience at Osaka Sumo Shinsekai, the food and of course the abundance of beautiful cherry blossoms!!!

We loved all ofo our Sri Lanka and Maldives holiday. The hotels were top class much better than we expected. The highlight would have been the 4 days relax time in the Maldives.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful and fascinating country. All of our accommodation was first class and our guide, driver and assistant were super helpful and polite. One suggestion would be that at our first meeting, the travellers all had a chance to introduce ourselves to each other. Also name tags for the first few days may have been helpful. The interaction with wild life was extraordinary.

As first timers to Japan, this trip gave us an amazing opportunity to explore the country. It was a busy schedule but we saw so much and loved every minute. Favourite places were Kyoto, Gifu, and Lake Yamanaka.

The tour had a lot of bus rides but I figured it was necessary to get around to everything. Our tour guide was absolutely brilliant. He cared closely to everyone and went out of his way to fix any booking mistakes that travellers had made. Very approachable and simply appeared just when needed. He had an amazing knowledge. My only comment is that he tried so hard to please that he gave us a lot of information about today, tomorrow and the next day and we started to lose track. You are very fortunate to have him.

Sapa was a highlight, meeting ethnic tribal people who live in their mountain village. Many varied activities from cruises, to rickshaw rides, historic sites and hectic city centres.

Every day we travel in China was very good. And very satisfying package overall.

Gorgeous sights, amazing experience with the elephant safari. Itinerary was a great mix of beach and jungle. Obama was a fantastic guide that was so informative about the history/culture and ensured everything ran smoothly.

Going in the season of the cherry blossoms did not disappoint. they were beautiful and blooming in abundance. The accommodation was all wonderful and satisfactory in location and amenities. Our tour guide and bus driver were amazing, friendly and helpful in all aspects of the trip. Great communication from them. The trip itinerary was great overall. We experienced many different sites and attractions that were enjoyable. I think the additional tours offered could have been included in the overall price rather than an extra cost. As most of the places we visited were low cost or free. Or the current itinerary could be spaced out across extra days to provide more time at the attractions and more free time in evening to explore independently. Some of the sites we could have spent half or a whole day there for example Ueno park, Tokyo city Centre or Kyoto. Rather than just an hour or two. But overall, I am very satisfied with the trip and good value for money with all the things that we got to experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Tour Guide and Driver made everything easy and in a very pleasant way together with a Business Glass upgrade from Perth to Hong Kong. Touring the Demilitarized Zone was so inspirreing as was the cleanleness of all area we visited. Knowing 33 Million lived in South Korea and with its magnificant Roads; underpasses and Bridges i saw no taffic accidents just smooth flowing traffic. Accommodation ; Breakfatst and Coach crew were far superior and appreciated following the last trip i had just over a year previous.

The tour was amazing, the activities were very well organised and gave us a variety of experiences. Our tour guide Brendan was excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful and made sure my allergies were well catered for at each location. Highlights of our trip were the animals, we loved the wildlife sanctuaries, the river lodge and cruises and the island visit to go snorkeling. Accommodation, the bus and driver were all great, very good value and great experiences overall.

Travelled late March-early April 2026. Weather was great, guide and porters outstanding. This was a very physically demanding tour which requires above average fitness but the trek and mountain scenery was worth it.

Rhododendrons Forest is blooming, Mt sceneries are majestic. Watching sun rise at Poon Hill was incredible. Rural Terrance villages are quaint. Many small shops sell drinks and snacks on the trek. Weather is comfortable in late March. Lot of steps to conquer, ascending & descending the Mt, but very worthwhile. Chitwan Jungle tour was fun, lucky to witness a white rhino. Outfitter Himalaya organisation made this trip very enjoyable with experience knowledgeable friendly guide Amrit & his team of porters support. Rural hotel along the trek is clean & comfortable with hot shower. Hotel meals have Eastern & Western options available. Definitely will try Annapurna base camp walk next time.

The trip was amazing! Our guide Jeremy and his team were so knowledgeable. Our accommodation was fantastic except for our accommodation in Galle. We were given every opportunity to explore as much as possible and nothing was ever a problem. I would recommend the trip to anyone.

We were the oldest couple in the group at 81 years. We were quite able to match all other tour members in our ability to do the walking required. We had a very good group of fellow travellers. Our tour guide Asahisan was a very nice young man. His English is very good. Being young, some of the group needed to guide him into what we needed to hear. He is clearly learning the necessary skills. He did work very hard and was always respectful and polite. Our bus drivers were both very competent and skilful. They also worked very hard, especially loading and unloading some 40 or so suitcases. The itinerary was great and met our expectations. However we had hoped for a more informed commentary about the sites we visited as we walked around in a group. We have been on bus tours through Europe where we were provided with headsets and the tour guide spoke to us through a headset microphone. We were generally briefed before arrival at some of the tourist destinations, then guided to the site and then left to wander around the site and inform ourselves. Sometimes, there was a local employee who spoke with us about the processes or culture of the place such as the Tea Plantation and The Ninja Museum.

C H I N A you were A M A Z I N G!! Just completed 12 day tour of Warriors of China and it was brilliant. Had two EXCELLENT tour guides, and each one was knowledgeable, entertaining, friendly and helpful. Jessie from Xi’an and Sunny from Shanghai were outstanding. Hotels we stayed at were above expectations, 4-5 star. Coaches were clean with excellent drivers, especially the driver from Shanghai. He was friendly and worked really hard with the loading and unloading of the majority of the luggages for everyone. What a fantastic trip and brilliant way to see the highlights of a country. Would not hesitate to do another Trip A Deal Holiday tour.

Loved every minute. Guides went above and beyond to make sure we were ok and didn't miss anything. Accomodation was amazing. Exactly the right timing for every place. we thought we would have to look for things to do when we had so much time off if we did t want to do the planned excursions, but there was always something that we found or was suggested by the travel guide.

Long days but well worth it, your taken to places you probably wouldn't find yourself. Guide was absolutely amazing, Han, he made the trip with a great sense of humour, had us in tears every day. His knowledge of the area and Japanese history is fantastic. Despite being busy looking after the group he gave great tips for places to eat etc.

Loved the idea that you could do extra activities or have your own time to explore. Great that breakfast was included but weren't restricted to lunch and dinner obligations. No improvements necessary. Edna (Tour Guide) was fantastic. Great fun/ very knowledgeable. Bus Driver was faultless. Very thoughtful/ very professional.

We started in Sri Lanka for 8 nights. Our tour guide Kernal was great & very knowledgeful of his country. Quality of the Hotels we stayed at were comfortable. We then finished up in The Maldives for 4 nights in an overwater bungalow which was fantastic. We were also fortunate that we travelled with a great group which got on very well.

The trip was quite busy for the first part ... but everything was organised and Jezzy our guide was the best !! Loved the itinerary and we saw some lovely parts of the Philippines. Highly recommend the extension to Boracay !!

I loved everything about my trip. The Toyr Guide was very knowledgeable., pleasant and very helpful. The driver was a very safe, and he had good skills at driving but a bit set in his ways. Overall very reliable and safe. A bit more flexible would be awesome. Having said that he was really good with his driving. I would have loved a bit more places to see and a bit less of travel between site seeing places, still a lovely trip.

Everything was so GOOD, EXCELLENT

Our trip exceeded all expectations. Our guide Richard was wonderful and informative. And was always available if we needed him. Our driver ‘Mr R’ had to be one of the best drivers I’ve ever come across. We felt completely safe at all times. And our Porter ‘Mr S’ was kind and hardworking and always made sure everyone was well looked after. All three of them were incredible. The accomodation was absolutely amazing. We loved our trip.

Our trip was amazing; we covered so much in such a short time. Our guide Hayashi was fabulous, very organized & communicated well with us, went above & beyond. The cherry on top was we got to the see the Cherry Blossoms in full bloom, absolutely stunning. The hotels were all in great locations, easy walking distance to places of interest.

Had a fabulous trip. India is a feast for the senses! Highlights were the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Amber Fort & learning about the history & way of life in India. The side trip to Varanasi was ok. Ganges was the highlight however disappointing the boat trip was so short. Would have been better to do a half day cruise on the river to see more of the daily life on the river banks. Would have rather done this than the temples. Our guide Vineet was excellent. He made the trip. His knowledge on every aspect of architecture, Hindu religion, art etc (wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer) was quite amazing & a lovely person. The Lalit Jaipur was a shambles. Very disorganised. The Raddison at Varanasi was not 5 star. It was very average in room quality & food quality.

The tours that were included where awesome. I also found the structure of the travel days very helpful, having the same tour bus and bus driver meant that there was no confusion in the mornings wondering where we had to go. Our tour guide Joy, was incredible she was funny and super helpful.

Visits to Zhangjiajie and Guilin were the highlights. Very picturesque. The guides were all dedicated and helpful.

Yuka was an excellent guide - so knowledgeable, clear, humorous and generous. She went above and beyond and her expertise made such a difference to us getting the most out of our time there. The highlight was definitely Miyajima Island. The hakone day trip cruise was a bit garish - not worth it, as it was very crowded and noisy. I think it is good that there are free days on offer in the key cities - Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. It would have been nice to have gone on a bullet train for longer than a couple of stops. Some of the later hotels had a few issues - the ones in Osaka (Heartington) and Hiroshima (Vessel) weren’t as comfortable, though noting it was the high season, so availability would have been challenging. The Heartington was a bit of a disappointment (limited breakfast and smelled like smoke) but was very happy with the Comfort Era in Kyoto - as substitutions. The Gifu hotel - though grand - had mould in the room. Better to have a neat, smaller room than an over the top, unclean one. China Eastern was ok (good service experience, average food) but if I had my time again, I would buy a tour only package and fly direct myself, due to the stopovers.

Our guide Brendan was fantastic. From the moment he collected us from the airport to the time he dropped us back at the end of the tour he was delightful. He was very well informed and got to know each and every passenger. We were fortunate to see all of the top 5 wild animals of Borneo. With the exception of Sandakan, our accommodation was excellent. Breakfast each morning was great and the selection of lunch/dinner locations were very good also. The entire tour was well thought out and really showcased what Borneo has to offer. I wouldn't change a thing and would highly recommend the tour to anyone.

All of it excellent. The tour guide is excellent. The only downfall is the time for transit. I am sure TAD is aware how difficult the line for immigration and should have given as a guide being a first timer in Vietnam. We almost missed our flight if we didn’t cut so many lines. 2 hrs transit is not enough.

A seriously great trip. Stunning scenery combined with a brilliant Tour Guide who was organised and knowledgeable. A small group tour which allowed you to get to know your travelling partners. Great food along the way and some fantastic activities which allowed us to see the REAL Vietnam and its people. Accomodation was top notch. Would recommend to all.

Trip was fantastic. Our guide Roland went above and beyond to make our trip the best possible. Enjoyed every moment. The bus was sheer luxurious and the driver always made us feel safe. Would recommend this trip to everyone. Lovely group of people that we travelled with. The animals were the highlight for me . The Hilton and the shangri la resort, were a lovely way to end the holiday.

Really enjoyed being in the mountains and looking down at the villages views. Walking thru some of the villages, eg weaving, tobacco preparation, scented incense sticks, and watching people working in the rice, corn, tobacco and other fields. Relaxing on the cruise in Halong Bay. Having time to explore Hanoi.

It was a well organised trip. Our guides were terrific with nothing being too much trouble for them to secure our comfort and happiness. They were very knowledgeable about their countries history and politics. Nam and Som had particularly good English. They were all fun to be with. The hotels were very comfortable with excellent food. However we felt the food on the Halong Bay tour was poor.

Both the Hotel and ship were top class, excellent service and quality.

The trip was excellent, well organised and managed. Only the Paragon hotel Saigon room was too small and cramped with no airflow. All the rest were spacious and comfortable. The tours were well worth doing and lots of fun. Put it on your bucket list 😀

The wildlife above all and our wonderful tour guide Roland. He was professional and knowledgeable and the whole group felt the same. Answered all our questions, enjoyed a joke and was helpful. Would also like to mention Kardy (unsure of spelling) who was our driver. He managed the tour bus wonderfully, sometimes in tight spaces which were negotiated easily. I hope Trip A Deal value them as they are great.

Your tour guides, Michael, Stone and Emily were excellent. The bus drivers were exceptional. We felt safe at all times. A job well done by all of them. Your itinerary was great. We saw as much as we could in the timeframe we had. It was a great holiday, however would have been better if all the optional extra tours were able to be selected and paid before departing on the trip. Even though its stated they are "Optional", in some instances if you didn't do the optional tour, then you get left behind, or you cannot get to the next point. Therefore, you shouldn't claim that they are "Optional". Just include everything and increase your base price. Then it will be an "All Inclusive" holiday. Also, since the gratuities are non-negotiable, it would also have helped to have these paid prior to the tour. Your pricing is very good for the trip, except for the optional extras. We like knowing how much everything is before we travel, and would like to have everything paid up before travelling, to ensure we have enough money (cash) and also to ensure we have control of what any extra's would be, instead of being a surprise. Especially the gratuities. The hotels, some of our rooms didn't have a bar fridge. Most of the hotels were a little disappointing for 4 stars. The locations were good, near restaurants, shops and supermarkets, but the quality could have been a little better. There were only 2 hotels that were very good. We arrived at Shanghai airport, then another flight to Beijing, which was very long to arrive at midnight in Beijing to start the tour. You could start the tour in Shanghai, instead of flying to Beijing to start. Or possibly have flight go direct from Sydney to Beijing. The airport drop off and the end of the trip could have been better. Too many (5 Hours) hours just waiting for the plane to depart at midnight. Would have been better if we were taken to another attraction (or final chinese dinner) for a few hours before going to the airport so early. Logistically, possibly the bus load of people could be organised for the same departure times, as some peoples flights were a little earlier than others. Therefore, some had shorter waiting times than others. Otherwise, it was a memorable, great trip. thank you.

We were lucky to have a very good guide who was organised and lots of information about Sri Lanka. Accommodation was great every place we stayed at. Only complaint was splitting the group up as we got moved to a different resort because of overwater bungalows being renovated?? We had all bonded well and were enjoying each others company. Maldives was a fantastic way to finish our trip. Loved the elephant safari and eco green resort

Our two-week holiday in the mountains of North Vietnam was very enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Towering peaks, terraced rice fields cascading down hillsides, and mist drifting through deep valleys created views that felt almost unreal. What made the trip even more special was the warmth of the local people. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with genuine smiles and kindness. Despite language differences, there was a strong sense of hospitality that made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the journey. Our tour guide Hiep was great from start to finish. Knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the region, he shared many interesting stories, traditions and information of each place we visited. The entire tour was well organised, with smooth logistics, well-planned stops, and just the right balance between activity and relaxation. One aspect that didn’t quite meet expectations was the food in the more remote countryside areas. While meals were always fresh and filling, they were often quite bland and lacking in flavour compared to the vibrant and aromatic Vietnamese cuisine we had been looking forward to. Our lunch stops were planned in advance by the guide, which allowed meals to be prearranged and served promptly and efficiently—something we appreciated during busy travel days. However, this did seem to limit variety, and it may be worth exploring alternative dining options for future trips to better showcase the rich flavours Vietnamese cuisine is known for. Overall, this was an incredible trip that we would highly recommend to anyone who loves nature, culture, and adventure. The stunning landscapes, friendly people, and excellent organisation far outweighed the few minor drawbacks, making it a very enjoyable holiday.

We loved visiting Tiger’s Nest Monastery and attending a festival in Paro. We also enjoyed seeing aspects of tea production. particularly when we stopped on the roadside and was able to watch the workers’ tea leaves being weighed, and was able to ask the overseer questions. This was one of several examples where the guides went off script and provided a richer experience. Another example was when we had more time than anticipated enroute from Chalsa to Bagdogra, we visited a wildlife safari. The guides and drivers were always on time, and we never had to worry about being picked up. The guides were all knowledgeable, and shared interesting information. but at times were difficult to understand- sometimes the drivers were easier to understand. On our last day we had very late flights (11.30pm), and nothing was planned for that day. We were fortunate to be able to book a driver for the day, but we did have to pay for this service. We would suggest that when flights are so late (which is not great), people be given the option of choosing another activity/activities, other than waiting at the airport for a prolonged time. We were given a guide on how much to tip guides and drivers, but had no idea of how much to tip porters and other staff, and if this was always expected- this would have been very useful to know. Also, were we expected to pay the same amount when at times we had two guides and drivers on the same day- we spent more money on tipping than anticipated due to this issue. Having a personal guide was great-having a more personalised experience was lovely. Overall, an interesting, enriching, well organised trip.

Have hotels closer to more restaurants to remove evening meal at highway roadside food outlets. This also enables better interaction with the tour group.

We love the journey into the mountains and everything that that entailed such as the gorge, the waterfalls, the caves, the cities and the amazing scenery. Getting used to the traffic and the way of life in Vietnam was made much easier by our guides throughout the journey, they were amazing and always helpful.
