Appreciated central hotels in cities and two night stops. Aided pace of the trip. Improvements: Add Ho Chi Minh food tour, stop on mountain pass, add extra village day trek in Sapa. Make Chu chi tunnels an optional part, not integral part of trip. Guide: Thung Mot in Mid Vietnam organised a lame lantern boat trip on quiet part of river in Hou Anh. Issue: disappointed not to have spent this evening in bustling Hoi Anh.

The great wall and the Terracotta warriors were breath taking, but the whole of China was a truly eye opening experience

Absolutely wonderful holiday. We saw so much that we could not have seen had we not been on this tour. Yes, it was fast paced with lots of walking, and hours in the bus on route between destinations but our wonderful tour leader, Toshie Ono kept us educated and entertained throughout. Toshie is an exceptional Tour Leader. We expected rooms in the hotels to be smaller than we are used to in Australia, and we were right. However they were comfortable and met our needs. There were 2 exceptions where the rooms were huge and luxurious. The whole process with booking the holiday was simple to follow. We could not fault the documentation and guidance provided. The only downside would be we would have liked to stay longer in some of the sites we visited, but understood the extensive itinerary would not have allowed us to do so. On the last day we joined the optional tour which included 3 different sites to visit, the last being a visit to Yokohama China Town. Seemed a bit ironic and unnecessary (ie, visiting China Town in Japan). Thankyou Trip-a-deal. We will be using you again

Our guide was excellent. Brian was organised, informative and communicated well. Hotels were good and we enjoyed the free time in each town/city to do our own thing. A highlight was the trip to the Columbia Ice Fields which was an optional extra but well worth the extra expense. The trip through Yellowstone National Park was another highlight. The Alaska cruise was great also. One of our onshore excursions was cancelled due to bad weather but we spent the afternoon in the city instead. Overall, a very enjoyable holiday and would highly recommend.

It was a full and well organised trip. The local team of Sarah and Wun did a first class job.

Tour was fantastic All the guides were knowledgeable and helpful I loved Rome WOW what a place Maybe could have had another day there and more free time in Pisa but overall, a great trip. Service on MSC cruises was a bit poor

Turkiye was absolutely amazing. Despite a large group of 38 everything went smoothly and efficiently, in no small part played by our fantastic guide, Mert. Mert was kind, generous, understanding and extremely knowledgeable; an outstanding asset to have working for Ttipadeal. The bus was comfortable and expertly driven by Mahmet.

We loved all the cities that we visited. We think Lake Bled should become a part of the tour rather than an optional activity. We found MSC cruises very disappointing. The food was average, the service was mostly below par and requests were often not met. Another cruise line to similar Mediterranean destinations would have been better even if it cost a little more. Our guide was good but information and history could have been better. She was very friendly and helpful. Instructions around tariffs and taxes was confusing and each bus received slightly different information. Guide could have been a bit clearer with departure instructions. I think hand sanitizer and masks should be compulsory on all buses as many people got sick but did not go out and buy masks and then infected others on the bus.

I loved the fact that everything was taken care of, from the moment we got off the plane and were met by our very knowledgeable tour guide to the time we left the country. One of the highlights was the optional activity of Cormorant Fishing and visiting Mount Fuji, and many more, especially all the temples and wonderful gardens.

The whole experience-value, itinerary, sights, tour guides, rooms, food all incredible.

Sri Lanka - fabulous tour guide/driver & helper. They made our Sri Lanka leg of our package very special by going our of their way to make sure we were looked after every day. Also, before we left Trip a Deal were excellent in their communications with us as a group - always getting back to us quickly with answers to any questions we had. It was very much appreciated.

First and foremost our guide, Mert, was the best guide we have had an any tour. Incredibly knowledgeable, a wonderful personality, great sense of humour and went above and beyond for the entire trip. The trip to Gallipoli was very respectful. Every transfer for the entire trip was without issue. The bus driver Mahmat was a very skilled and safe driver. The itinerary certainly hits many of the wonderful sites of Turkey. Rather than the boat tour - perhaps a walking tour of Galata. We did it ourselves on the last evening in Istanbul and it would have been a shame to have missed it. We would give this trip 6 stars 🌟 if we could. We weren't real sure why we went back via Adelaide, when some people went direct to Brisbane.

We loved the landscapes in Namibia and of course the animals.

Everything about my holiday was very enjoyable from hospitality to tour guide. Food, drinks and sightseeing. I was facilitated by icebergs and the time in the cruise.

There were to many parts of this trip that I loved. Best parts of this trip were Hoi An and Siem Reap. Angkor Wat Sunrise was spectacular. All tour guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. Went the extra mile to help us and answer questions. Accommodation was great, happy to pay the extra for the luxury package. You need to add the elephant sanctuary to the trip, I did this on a free day in Cambodia and absolutely loved it.

We have an amazing 17 day Ultimate Japan tour with Trip a Deal. Our guide Steve and Captain Shoyw were wonderful. The beautiful places we visited were breathtaking. I would recommend this value for money trip to anyone interested in seeing so many interesting places in Japan

Well planned. Excellent tour guides. Saw everything I wanted to see from north, middle and south Vietnam. Optional tours were a good idea. I chose to see the hand bridge which was amazing. The cable car had fantastic views and was one of my highlights. The overnight trip on Ho Long Bay was a great experience. The scenery was spectacular. Overall the accommodation was very good. Buffet breakfasts everything you’d ever want to eat. Food was abundant in lunches incorporated in the deal. I felt very safe travelling with Trip a Deal and loved how everything was organised.

Everyday was a highlight we absolutely loved it…..we had fantastic tour guides especially Nam in Hanoi and Som in Siam Reape. We had the best group of people and still keep in contact with them.

Loved what we saw and experienced.Hotels and cruise ship were really good. Flights with China Eastern better than expected. Tripadeal were there on time to meet and guide us every step of the way. We felt very comfortable and cared for during the whole trip.

I loved everything about this trip. The guides were wonderful though some were a little hard to understand. The accommodation was fabulous and the pools were great fun.

The tour comprehensively covered all places of interest that we desired to visit. Future travellers might like a tour of the Roman subterranean cisterns in Istanbul.

All in all it was a fantastic holiday and the accomodation was for the most part really decent. The guides spoke decent English which was very helpful and were a wealth of knowledge. I did feel like we spent too much time on the road though and I was a little over temples by the end so didn’t do the Bangkok half day tour. I found Battambang to be very noisy, the hotel was well situated and very nice but the hustle and bustle from the town at night was a little full on. I also think a coupe more free days to recoup and explore would have been refreshing. However, over all I am very satisfied and really enjoyed my trip.

Everything about this trip was wonderful. Not having to worry about transport of luggage was fantastic and made the daily experience so easy. Accommodation was always clean and well appointed. Highlights of the accommodation stays were Zermatt and Lugano. Hotels were always in close proximity to train stations. Breakfasts were always excellent. All train rides were fantastic and one highlight would be the Bernina Express. The 8 hour train journey from Zermatt to St Moritz was spectacular, however might be better if broken into 2 stages, however this would make the itinerary a day longer. St Moritz we felt was a bit underwhelming. We enjoyed free afternoons and not having to have group dinners - as this allowed us to explore and try different restaurants. Not that anything was wrong with our group - we had 18 plus our Tour manager and that was a perfect size for the group. We met some great people. The side trips (we did all 3) were excellent and well organised. Our Tour Manager Graham Croucher was excellent!!! Graham was friendly, affable, well organised and had a phenomenal knowledge of Swiss trains. He made us all feel welcome and supported, always offering to assist if we needed information or support in each local area. He entertained us with amusing anecdotes of his extensive rail travels and his knowledge of birds. We would highly recommend him as a Tour Manager for this trip and any further Trip A Deal train journeys. This was our first Trip A Deal trip or indeed organised tour and we loved it and will recommend to others. Additionally, we also loved the scope to extend our holiday by up to 60 days and are now visiting the UK. Thank you

Morocco was an incredibly interesting place and our guide M'Hamed Majhoudi was fantastic. His knowledge was excellent, and he was able to answer all questions. He has a very friendly personality and is clearly very proud of his country. The bus driver was also excellent. The pace of the trip is good, and I felt like I had really seen and experienced Morocco. The name of the tour really does reflect what you get. My one suggestion would be to have a bigger bus. Our tour had 14 people in a 16-seater bus. it was a bit crowded. Perhaps charging more and having a larger vehicle would be better. There also needs to be more detail given in the info package about luggage and the size of the vehicle. The bus driver struggled as we went along to get the additional luggage in the back as people shopped! Thought it was great value.

We loved the trip. Totally astounded by the population, roads, trains. The trip included a very good snapshot of the country, covering history and modern China. We participated in all the optional tours and found them to be interesting and enjoyable. Options where it is complicated to rejoin the group should be included in the tour. The only one we weren’t keen on was being left at the Shanghai underground market for 3 hours. We are not shoppers and most goods were tacky souvenirs.

The itinerary was great, hotels comfortable, guides knowledgeable and friendly. Some of the hotels were away from being able to walk to anything, for instance, Lanzhou and Wuwei. It's great when the hotel is in a position to walk to food and shops. 2 or 3 nights in one hotel is better than 1 night, but I realize sometimes that is not possible when we have so much to see. Again I loved my first organized trip.

Kruger National Park and Cape Town. Accomodation at all locations was excellent as was the food and the tour guides. There were no hiccups at all from our end.

WOW Helen and I just loved our Grand South Africa Trip!! We were very impressed with everything but our most favourite part was the Kruger Game Park as we were fortunate to see lots of animals, The drivers were fantastic and informative and kept us safe. It is such an amazing country and the food was fabulous. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Thankyou. Our photo is of us on the top of Table Mountain.

Loved the freedom to do what I wanted when I wanted due to no set itinerary for the week. I would have preferred to stay longer though.

The Nara Park deer, the fast bullet train to Hiroshima atomic bombs museum, Zen temple seeing thousand of bamboos. Bought some green teas to take home. Disappointed that unable to see the Mt. Fuji because of the rain and fogs.

All places sites and cities were very well covered; excellent communication and leadership by the tour organiser.

The trip was very well organised, covered off lots of anttractions and destinations, the tour guides were fantastic and the itinerary was comprehensive and well explained so there were not hidden surprises with extra costs, etc. Loved the trip!

I loved that you provided so many different experiences - some clearly beyond of what I would have arranged on an individual travel. One of my highlights was Mt Fuji, and we were lucky enough to see it quite clearly. I also liked the optional tours where you could see a bit more or just have a rest. The Maiko experience was extraordinary.

It was very well organised, felt very safe, the city’s were beautiful and clean and all the attractions were amazing The Chinese people were beautiful and I loved learning about there culture.

The Kruger safari and the guides were excellent as was the accomodation at the Kruger safari camp. The value for money of the whole holiday was axceptional.

Wonderful trip. We saw a lot in 8 days but didn't feel rushed. We enjoyed the free days. The guide was excellent and full of local knowledge.

Guides , helpers and bus drivers were excellent. Hotels were a high standard. Having an early check in arranged in the first day of arrival would make for a better experience.

We loved this fast paced tour. The highlight was our guide Kito. His knowledge, patience and sense of humour made it such an enjoyable week.

India portion was great. We had a very good guide. Some of the hotel rooms were a bit musty smelling. The first hotel (SK Premium Hotel, Delhi) had a few issues with the room but overall it was a good hotel. The places we visited were great. Sri Lanka was great too. Hotels were very good. The guide was very good too. A lot of driving in Sri Lanka - could have used an extra day so it wasn't so rushed. Overall great holiday.

Loved the chosen excursions, so many wonderful historical sites in Japan! Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable, friendly and fun!

Guide Oscar made our trip. He was well organised, so knowledgeable and fun. We hit the highlights and feel like we got a good overview of Turkey. We would highly recommend this tour.

Busan. The optional tour to Busan was the best.

The pick up and transfers, the wonderful knowledgeable guides esp at Kruger, the staff at Hyde Hotel, the meals provided throughout the tour. we saw a lot so it was a really good sampler/ taster of what cape town and kruger had to offer. Loved the wine tasting day ie. Cheese and wine pairing at breakfas at Fairview, tasting and lunch at Rickety Bridge, chocolate and wine pairing. We could have done with an extra day at Kruger and Cape Town. At Kruger, perhaps a lodge closer to the park gates.

Loved the accommodation places, the variety of activities and the friendly Malayan people. The Sandakan death march was a real eye opener for most of us, sadly all we knew of from WW2 was the Australian involvement in New Guinea, which overshadowed the sad and large loss of human life in Sandakan. The river trips were great, finding Orangutangs, Pygmy Elephants, Proboscous monkeys and crocodiles in the wild jungles of Borneo. Our guide, Clay was so knowledgeable and driver Madil so efficient that we were amazed at how much they enjoy their work. Nothing was a problem for them, and if Clay didn't know the correct answer to a question then he certainly could sound convincing when he made up a good alternative. The Bat Cave was smelly but incredible when you see that the bird's nest collectors have to suspend themselves over 100 metres above the cave's floor on ropes to access the nests. Mari-Mari village was incredible as it showed a realistic replica of the different tribes of the region. The 2 day extension at the Shangri-Lar resort was so relaxing and a good way to wind down after the full on jungle adventures. All in all, an experience we will talk about for ages, as it was a stand out location in the Malayan country.

Seeing four out of Borneo’s big Five, the boat trips search for Wildlife were enjoyable.. Local tour guide Clay V was very knowledgeable and has a sense of humour.,

We saw many things and learned much about Japanese culture. Highlight for me was Nara just a lovely city as were Tokyo and Osaka.

Well organised and well balanced itinerary. The tour guide Joey was amazing and went above and beyond in making this holiday memorable.

Accommodation up at Heritance Kandalama was a highlight. The quality of food at the buffet' every day and night were outstanding.

Everything worked seamlessly. The hotels were appropriate for each location and perfectly fine. The tour leader was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. The scenery was fabulous. Book you won’t be disappointed.

Japan overall is a beautiful modern country with great aspects of culture & tradition. Everyone seems helpful and accommodating. Visiting places like Todaiji Temple, Mt Fuji & Hiroshima were definitely the major highlights for us personally.

Having free time in Osaka to visit the aquarium. Visit some of the gardens in Tokyo.

Our Tour Guides Sabrina, Lily, Vivien and Li Li were excellent in that they were very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. This ensured that we enjoyed our time in China.

It was our first time to be in a tour group & are thankful to Tripadeal for the most beautiful experience. We were 30+ in the group and half of them were repeat clients of Tripadeal and had only good things to say about their previous tours. Tour activities were of light to medium level pace yet the itinerary covered as much places of interest as possible. We used our free days to shop, taste-trip and soak in the sights and sounds of Seoul & Busan. South Korea is a beautiful country with a colorful history & the tour pulled away from the typical K-pop affair, which lent a fresh appreciation of this country's people and culture. We hope to return to SK in future.

Great variety of activities

The pyramids, Nile cruise, Luxor and hot air balloon ride were primarily my highlights. We would have loved to be able to book business class flights at the time of making the initial booking.

Very full on holiday and excellent guides from Nomad Victor and Toro.

This experience was of a very high standard even though very reasonably priced. The logistical challenges were well concealed! The two most experienced guides were outstanding at answering our questions fully and frankly and turning a long and complex Chinese history into digestible chunks. We also appreciated the freedom to roam and look around 'after hours'. The combination of air and ground travel was a good way to check out the countryside without chewing up too much time. Accommodation was generally good but the last stay (Golden Tulip, Shanghai) was superb.

Our guide, Soya was great. He was very informative, helpful and lots of fun. We really enjoyed the site seeing and attractions.

No improvements necessary. Our guide CLAY VINCENT was excellent and knowledgeable. We were educated in culture and way of life in Borneo. He brought lots of humour to the group. I have already recommended this trip to two other couples. It surpassed all expectations. Well done TAD.

I loved it all including the optional extras. The only hiccup was fraudulent silk factory. Photo of label below. You need to remove this from your schedule or make it clear it’s all for fun, so to speak. I feel ripped off having spent a substantial amount of $ there.

Vietnam is absolutely beautiful, the people were very friendly & had a wonderful time. Our tour guide ‘Son’ was amazing, he constantly going out of his way to assist in seeing more of his country. His English was great, the bus driver was great & all of the organised destinations we attended were great. We would highly recommend Trip A Deal to our friends & we will definitely organise another Trip A Deal in the coming years.

The guides were great, very helpful and organized. Overall great trip and value for our money. Would definitely recommend to others. The coaches could have been a little better equipped with USB/charging ports.

We enjoyed it, however here are a few suggestions: didn't enjoy staying in Lomazzo with the only option to eat at the hotel for 4 nights. No immersion into the local community. We didn't enjoy the last 3 day stops in the Dolomites, as we arrived at lunchtime and shops were closed until 2.30pm. It would have been enjoyable to have had a cheese or wine/beer tasting organised with a local place, something different to do. Another suggestion would be a local hike instead of just walking around old towns. Our guide Alessio was good and very organised.

Staying in Dong Van was a highlight. Being able to look out of my window and watch rice farmers working, the rooms were lovely with that traditional feel. We felt comfortable walking around the streets, even joining in with the dancing in the square at night. Another highlight was absolutely the Ban Gioc Waterfalls, just breathtaking! We had plenty of time to explore and take photos of the beautiful falls. We also enjoyed meeting the people as we wandered through the villages! Watching the farmers walk their cows how at the end of the day, and seeing thier daily life. The smiling people and cheeky children!

Enjoyed the never ending mountainous scenery, the history and the people. The itinerary was good but there are long journeys in the bus. The 1st, 2nd and last guides were excellent. I can't say so for the 3rd guide tgrough Uzbikistan who didn't communicate well and left us in the dark a lot. Mosques, bazaars, places of interest, cows, goats, donkeys, the food - it was all fabulous.

Our party of 6 had a great time, thank you to our guide Aiko and all the team drivers.Thank you for arranging for low rise accommodation for party of 2 - much appreciated. It is a very packed itinerary and lots to take in.

The tour guides and drivers were good. The sceneries were nice. There were so many churches to visit. Instead yiu could add some other places such as museums national parks etc. Some days we had couple churches in one day. You may know that not everybody is religious or Christian or interested in churches. Sometimes we didn't go through all places mentioned in the itinerary.

My husband and I enjoyed the 2 for 1 Peru holiday with the Galapagos extension. We are both mid 60's and found the pace and quality of the excursions to be well within our interests and abilities. The highlights were of course, Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain and the Inca ruins in various places. The day on Lake Titicaca was spectacular, especially the lunch overlooking the lake. Highlights for the Galapagos were visiting the Tortoise ranch, lava tubes, snorkeling off San Christobal and rock hopping to see the Blue Footed Boobys. The whole trip was expertly organised and our guides were very knowledgeable and passionate about their countries

We saw a lot interesting things in a short amount of time. It was a great experience. Most of the accomodation was as described and although some was probably what we would describe as 3 star it was more than adequate. The only part that we found disappointing was the Halong Bay overnight cruise. The staff were great, the food was tasty and more than we could eat but the boat was below expectation. The room we were allocated was at the back of the boat and we were unable to sleep because of the smell of the diesel fuel getting into our room.

We loved being able to spend a little more time in some locations, it much nicer than to only spend one day the city. The tour guides we had on our tour were very good also, I liked hearing about their personal lives in their native city. Some members of the tour, both in our group and in other groups were very anxious about the train transit. They were worried about getting off the wrong stop. It would have been nice to receive a paper slip with the names of the stations written in chinese and english and the expected time of arrival so people could prepare for departure in advance. The flights could have been more comfortable, as we spend 3 days on the trip in flight transit and what left like 2 days on train/bus transit. There is a lot of information prior to departure, I think a summary sheet with the most important information would have been helpful as many people didnt know which colour group they were in upon arrival.

The Great Wall was on our bucket list so it was great we thought the warriors were amazing Your guides we very knowledgeable except for one who needs lots of coaching and people skills he was very hesitant and needs a little more coaching with his language he was out of his depth

As this was our first time on a tour, rather than planning each travel detail of a holiday ourselves, we were pleasantly surprised by the consideration given to the balance of group activities (all optional) and to private travel time if desired. There was no sense that everyone had to do the same thing throughout the journey. Passengers could make independent choices within the scope of the tour. A particular highlight was the local travel guides on each leg. Their lived experience of the areas visited was invaluable as travel advice, but also their deep knowledge of the history, geography, culture and every day life of their own villages, cities and towns, was wonderful. Each guide was also delightfully warm, flexible and attentive to the needs of the passengers. Going on a packaged tour took all the stress out of navigating an unfamiliar place. We felt safe and relaxed while we explored, the whole time.

This was such an amazing trip and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. The minute we landed we were greeted by Clay our guide who was such an extraordinary guide in more ways than one. From hotels, to excursions to meals all we can say is WOW. The highlight was the evening cruise and we saw a pigmy elephant on the edge of the jungle.

Sri lanka was very informative and interesting, great tour group and driver and host etc.Malddives was fantastic for food, accomodations. Was good but drinks could have been a lot colder

Wow why an absolute best way to knock out bucket list holidays China 🇨🇳 2 for 1 Warriors was amazing not only you experience the the Great Wall and Terra-cotta Warriors but meet and visit a family in there home greeted with a home cooked meals accommodation was great as well as visiting many other places within the cities you visit. Totally a recommended trip and country to visit

Loved our tour. Our four guides were fantastic, knowledgeable and experienced. We participated in all extra tours and twice we were able to do extras on top of the extra tours; Shaolin Temple - added a gondola ride and walk around the cliff, and in Shanghai we went to the observation deck and the knock off markets. We found the factory tours informative and there was no hard sell. The accommodation was very good to excellent and China Southern Airlines was great. I would do another TripADeal trip China - we are looking at the nature one.

We loved all our guides. Lisa for 3 fabulous days in in Beijing. She got us the best tickets, was a fountain of information and was so very organized. We had Rocky for a great day. So organized and so funny. His stories were informative and hilarious. Puma was great for a day. And Kevin was absolutely fantastic. He was so organized, informative and we all had a great time with him. The sites we visited a great introduction to China. We enjoyed the bus rides, the hotel and especially the great guides.

Mainly the scenery in the dolomite's and a lot of the historical sites. I think the first night should be in Milan to save back tracking a bit. The location of the first accommodation wasn't the best l think it would be better if you could explore Como in your free time or just to walk around and find a restaurant. The other main problem I thought was the free time in the towns in the dolomite's was wasted a little because of the time of year most shops etc were closed. Ps one other thing is some of the people were always complaining that they hadn't been to the bathroom and couldn't understand that you need to buy something like a coffee and use their toilets. Maybe that could be explained in the itinerary somewhere. This was our fourth TripADeal trip and just a couple of people made it less enjoyable. But still enjoyed Italy. Alessio our guide and Roberto the driver were excellent and tried hard to please everyone. Regards Tim

The tour operator was very organized and had a wealth of knowledge. The motels were great and all the excursions offered were amazing. Seat rotation on the bus would be beneficial. It would also make things easier if the tip for the tour guide and driver could be added to the overall price and passed on that way.

1. The itinerary was very well organised, fast paced and value for money. 2. Tour guides were helpful and pleasant but their English skills were not very strong. 3. Hotels were clean and comfortable but didn't really cater for non Chinese. Breakfasts were mainly Chinese with little variety. Eg often no coffee, toast etc. 4 Highlights were Danxia Rainbow Hills, and the Crescent Moon Oasis.

Good value, comprehensive and a good mix of history and cultural activities Highlights Homestay/farm lunch at Ethno Village, Ushguli, Gergeti trinity chruch, Vardzia cave city.. too many too list! Improvements New Northern Turkey tour guide, said several items on the itinerary were not worth seeing. Better hotel locations, especially Sheki and Akhaltsikhe. More reliable buses. More than one break down occurred. Bus driver was able to fix. Nothing to do with his drinking skills. A meet and greet small function the night before the tour started and a farewell dinner, after 29 days together it would have been lovely to properly say goodbye.

The entire holiday was amazing. From the original booking through to the return trip home, there was nothing short of professionalism and excellence provided by the TripADeal staff, Korean Tour Guide and coach driver. My wife and I have never been to South Korea, and given that we had no idea of what this country had to offer, we were mesmerised by the culture, history and tourist attractions that this tour covered. From the villages, temples, historic attractions, palaces and shopping districts we visited, we were impressed and educated and enjoyed this overall experience. There were 36 people in our tour and at times it was difficult to remember names. My suggestion for improvement is for travellers to be provided with name tags. Also, I think that a welcome dinner and a farewell dinner, be included in tge tour to enable tourists in the group to be introduced and share social time together.

I went last year and I loved it, that's why I chose it for my birthday. Two other people had their birthday on the same day and the tour guide organised a surprise cake, we were thrilled, it was memorable to celebrate our birthdays on Ha Long Bay. The tour guide did a good job, but we really didn't like that from the first day he asked everyone for the tip, he requested $110 per person, he included the arrival and departure days (in the information we received it states we don't have to tip the arrival and departure days) I know it's not a lot of money. After Ha Long Bay, when we arrived to the hotel he asked my friend and I for the tip and we gave the money after asking why 11 days when it should be 9, he replied "how did you get here from the airport and how are you going back? walking? something like that. I always give the tip at the end of the trip, not at the beginning, we weren't going to run away without paying. But I must say he was very good as a tour guide, and the driver was too.
