Everything was amazing, had the best time and would definitely recommend. Although it would’ve been nice if there was a little more free time to unwind so it wasn’t as go, go, go.
Great to see the wildlife in their natural habitat. I fell in love with the people of the lands, wonderful and friendly as.Need better liason with Ranger Safari communications in Arusha (Jessica is the representative ).She never turned up at the debrief before departing for Zanzibar .Also the guy in Zanzibar (Tembo hotel ) turned up 9.30 p.m to give us some suggestions for what to do there. Most of the group had gone to bed. Otherwise a great experience / trip had by all
We had a great trip, with a group of 34 persons and a great guide. The highlight was Istanbul, and followed on by Gallipoli, and then the other parts of Turkeyie. The place where we stayed for 2 nights to go ballooning was very interesting and fabulous, however the disappointment was the dinner served that night. It was a poor representation of Turkish food in flavour, quantity and choice. The highlight was the very expensive cost for this inadequate meal compared to other meals we had elsewhere. This was a definite let down as there were no other eateries close by.
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for us. The small group size was a great advantage for managing travel and meals. Everyone in our group clicked immediately which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The only thing I would change would be varied and lighter options for lunch. A banquet every day got a bit heavy.
Its a good introduction to Japan and its cities. The optional add on are fantastic and should be part of the tour and not optional. Our guide Kenta is very good, knowledgeable and easy going. It was a good mix of people although sometimes its a bit fast pace as some of the older members found it hard to keep up especially with the summer heat. A daily handout of the itinary for the day would be very handy. Doesn't need to be hardcopy (to save paper) but could sent it electronically via Whatsapp group. Best Accomodation was Hotel Cadenza for its cleanliness and room size. Best Hotel Location was the Kuramon Crystal Hotel, close to Kuroman markets. Donburi. Nara deer park was a highlight.
Ben our guide was fantastic. Always cheerful, knowledgeable and very helpful. Ben is the best
how well organised our tour guide Joey was and bus driver. Joey was amazing and very knowledgeable. Every destination had its own highlight. Learnt a lot and saw a lot on the tour and met some lovely people on tour. The Tour was a little rushed In the beginning and some of the Accommodation was very small but Realised why after the tour and explanation by our Tour guide. Cruise was excellent we had out own bathroom :) Perhaps a few less Shrine but Overall very happy with what we saw and did in the time frame.
PYRAMIDS SPHINX MUSEUMS HISTORY NILE CRUISE ABU SIMBEL
The trip to Japan exceeded my expectations. The entire journey was a tribute to the people of Japan and the amazing country they have. Our tour guide deserves a mammoth mention for without Ben the trip may have been less informative and possibly done without the genuine passion he displayed for his newfound home (Japan). The trip to Inu and the fishing village there was a great highlight for me personally, the interaction with the birdlife there gave me goose bumps and the surrounds were magical. The stay in Gifu was another highlight especially the boat trip at night and seeing the cormorants and the ancient way of fishing was a treat. Hiroshima speaks for itself and could have spent days there as well as Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya. The journey out on the small train that was once used for transporting workers was a blast and the view there spectacular. All the temples and castles were memorable and could not get enough of them. The contrast between Osaka and Tokyo highlighted how diverse the two big cities could be yet uniquely beautiful in their own way. Out bus driver (The Samurai) deserves a great mention, always driving superably, carefully and always on time. My ultimate piece di resistance was the little mountain village after our stop at the Kintaikyo Bridge which was a gorgeously beautiful place in itself but the village whose name escapes me offered a traditional Japanese sit-down meal, complete with traditional tea, unbelievable tasting chicken wing cooked on an Openfire along with many other wonderful foods and all in the surrounds of a natural waterfall, rain forest type canopy to sit under and a natural running stream that nestled beneath the areas we would walk amongst as well as sit down, truly sublime. Would love to go back a have and milestone birthday there one day.
I really enjoyed the overnight ferry, which was a surprise, I thought it would be just another way to get from A to B but it was really enjoyable to walk around the deck as we sailed out of port. The space in the room and facilities were bigger and better than I thought. I enjoyed the visit to both the old villages as they were less crowded and more intimate than the large towns. The bridge with 5 arches along with the park and gardens on the other side of the river of the bridge were lovely. The scenic railway passed the dam was a pleasant surprise. But the best thing was the Shinkansen ride but even better waiting on the platform and having the Shinkansen zoom passed us. You could see it, hear it and feel it.
The entire trip was amazing from start to finish. The country was lovely. Our guide Noc was fun and helpful to our group. His knowledge was excellent. He never rushed us and helped us with any query we had. Our transport was comfortable and the hotel were lovely
The trip was excellent. Our tour guide Raj was excellent, full of knowledge and funny to. There were so many highlights. Loved Japan, the infrastructure, architecture, culture, cleanliness and food. Loved Japanese people, they are so kind and respectful. Will definitely book again with trip a deal. Abe our bus driver was lovely, very smooth driving
Really enjoyed the extended part of the package as it was a really personal with only 3 of us with the tour guide and driver who we got to know really well in this time.
My first cruise, I'm hooked!! Loved the food, the service and discovered "****** Mary's"! Harden of the Metropolian restuarant was a treasure, his genuine care of his guests was outstanding. One critisicm would be about transfers between airports/hotels/cruise terminals. I feel there wasn't enough information given or options for organizing shuttle buses or public transport etc. given.
Everything was amazing, much more than expected. The guides made it extra special, Nigel in Cape Town, Neil in Kruger & Innocent in Zimbabwe!
The whole trip was very well planned and managed. All the tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Neil in the Kruger and Innocent at Victoria Falls are to be commended. It was great value for money.
LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF THIS WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE 200%. THE HOLIDAY WAS JUST AMAZING EVERYTHING WAS A HIGHLIGHT. GREAT GUIDES, PLACES, TEMPLES, THE CULTURE. EVERYTHING!! WANT TO GO BACK AGAIN!! ALL GUIDES WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ACCOMMODATE OUR REQ THE ONLY IMPROVEMENT THAT I WOULD SUGGEST (AND BY THE WAY, THE HOTEL WAS BEAUTIFUL) IS THAT THE IGH ELEPHANT COURT HOTEL IN KERALA NEEDS HAND RAILINGS TO GET TO ROOM 128. NO LIFT FOR US NOR STAFF. STEPS ARE SLIPPERY WHEN WET. OUR FIRST GUIDE JEN CHARGED US 1650RP EACH (3300RP) TO GO TO THE TAJ MAHAL BEFORE SUNSET. WE THOUGHT IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE. LOVED IT ALL.
It was well organised with a great guide who explained everything in detail. The jungle river excursions were fantastic with good accomodation
Kruger national park both accommodations and trips were amazing Airlines should sear travelers together for long flights not separated
Loved the variety of activities and how full the itinerary was. Saw so much in a really short time!
loads of activities, great food, peaceful, great holiday
Guides with local knowledge were fantastic. Accomodation was to a good standard Days were jam packed with activities with the option to go solo if wanted to.
Egypt
Most of it except need to spend more than 1 night in resorts all tours were fantastic.lived warroirs and great wall China and food.fantastic price for trip
Nile River cruising. Pyramids and all wonderful temples. So much interesting history
The sights were amazing. Our guide was lovely and helpful. The accommodation was below par, old not very nice. First hotel was clean but very very small. Also the extra sights were expensive. The last day could have had another sight or something as the wait at the airport was ridiculously long.
Very well-planned, fuss-free tour. All destinations visited. Good airline - Cathay. Good hotels. Passionate and helpful tour guides. In these days of over-visited places, the tour provided preferential entries and priority HSR-boarding.
Very comprehensive trip with many extra highlights included that were not on the itinerary. Excellent guides and drivers in both India and Sri Lanka. Some accommodation in India was extremely basic with only cold water and some toilets not flushing. Sri Lanka accommodation was lovely. Came home exhausted but feel like we saw all the key sights and experienced the culture in both countries.
Loved having most of our afternoons and evenings free to do as we pleased. Thoroughly enjoyed all included activities. Will book again with TripAdvisor without hesitation.
Seeing the animals in the wild and Vic Falls
The ultimate Vietnam tour was rated at 12/10. The itinerary, the tour guides and our fellow travellers made it such a wonderful and memorable experience. In particular, the tour guides were exceptional in their ability to bring together the group as one and provide support and understanding to make you feel safe and important. I am looking forward to embarking on another journey with trip a deal.. fantastic value for money I would like to commend the 3 tour guide's .. Hiep, Hip and Tung who all made the trip especially valuable because their knowledge of cultural and historical significance. Their attitudes were positive and they made themselves available freely for extra help. Can l forward our reviews on each to someone in trip a deal please
Great itinerary and well organised
Loved the itinerary. All the guides were amazing and nothing was too much for them. Whilst the hotels were very nice we would have preferred them to be closer to the main areas of the cities we went to. We would have paid the extra if necessary. Will happily use TripaDeal again.
Cambodia was fantastic in general, Cu Chi tunnels. Also had the chance to go to the floating village in Siem Reap due to a late flight out. This was brilliant and would be great to add to the regular itinerary
From safe pick up at airports and friendly smiles felt welcomed. Vietnam and Cambodia guides so knowledgeable we cannot fault anything, accommodation and tours 100 % so happy. Plenty of water given to help with heat , food with variety great. Plenty of options for days off and extra tours if we wanted to do as well. We will book again with your company.
My wife and I loved everything about the trip, especially the 2 days added on at the resort.
Exceeded expectations. Itinerary was well paced, manageable group size (16 like minded people), hotels of very high standard, guide well informed, and overall, many things/places to see and enjoy. Highlights included the Sigiriya Rock (climbing to the top), the Yala safari (seeing leopard), and turtle rehab visit. Sri Lanka is a destination with many delights.
All the organisation was perfect, the accommodation high quality and most of all our Vietnamese guide, Hung, was engaging, knowledgeable and thoughtful. He shared his country‘s history and culture with us, making our day to day experience come alive. His administrative skills made everything easy for us. Ching, our driver was amazingly calm and careful on those mountainous roads.
great itinerary and accommodations - guides were very experienced and helpful - really enjoyed seeing the old silk road and history of the area - enjoyed the small size of the group
Visited every places as per TAD highlights. I love the Caucasus mountains and the history of the ancient churches. The number of days spent in each country was enough. Tour guide and driver in each country were very professional and approachable. They are experience in all that they do. They were prompt to answer my questions and helpful when in need. I sincerely recommended this trip to anyone who is interested.
TAD have provided an itinerary that delivered an outstanding tour of Greece and a considered look at Istanbul. Each stop for a day maximised the key features, but a road trip like this is only as good as the guide, and as usual we had an outstanding guide for our trip, Helini was just brilliant, passionate about her country and brilliant communicator, the information that’s she shared meant that we were leaving this trip with much more than memories and stunning photos. Our bus driver Alexander was totally in sync with Helini and made a great team. The accommodation provided was excellent, all in all we’ve had a great taste of Greece and enjoyed our day in Istanbul, meaning we’re thinking where we’d like to terms so again in these countries. The cruise component was also a great itinerary, the islands we visited were just stunning and a day in each allowed enough time to explore the features and a lot of history, we took tours at each port to expand our enjoyment of these iconic locations, and with the addition of free time allowed us to just wander and explore. If there was any criticism, whilst the staff were great, it was not being able to obtain a glass of drinking water in the dining room with dinner unless I purchased a 1.5l bottle, or has a drinks package, meaning I had to go each night to the 9th floor and bring one down to the dining room so that had a glass of water with my meal. Overall a great trip that was great value for money! The group we travelled with were really great and added significantly to our trip experience…
Norway’s beautiful scenery like riding gondola up to the top of the mountain in Bergen
I loved seeing the wildlife on this tour. The variety of experiences offered was very interesting and enjoyable. Our guide was really fun and gave us valuable information. The accommodations were really good and well located. The three days at the Hilton were lovely and a nice way to end a holiday which was interesting and great value for money.
A great trip. Highlight was seeing the animals in natural habitat. Accommodation was good.
Highlights of China were many, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Terra-cotta Warriors, and the Great Wall exceeded expectations! Going to the Jade factory and seeing how tea is grown & processed was also quite interesting. Few smaller optional tours were also a must including the Grand Canal Cruise, Golden Mask Dynasty &Huangpu Night Cruise, all well worth the experience. Few other optionals were on offer however didn’t personally appeal to us so we sat those out. Accommodation was lovely although at times well out of town/cities. Clean, modern, all served beautiful buffet breakfasts every morning. Flights full service from Melbourne on China Southern, those travelling from Brisbane flew Singapore Airlines, Perth on flights through Cathay Pacific. Overall all a well organised trip from the moment we booked! Met at airport by tour staff, dropped off by staff on final day. At no stage were we left other than to sleep! Excellent correspondence from your company, faultless. Amazing value! All I would suggest is a reasonable level of fitness is definitely required for those climbing the Great Wall if you wish to trek to tower 12! Tour group varied b/w 21 years to around 80 years. Watch dates of travel for weather, 40 degrees on many days, take umbrella and hat, certainly helped. Toilet paper is also a must!!
Flight went well, hotel excellent, Sebatana wilderness resort Lion Lodge very good. The expeditions to all terrific and such good options still leaving time to relax to feel like a holiday. Highly recommended.
Everything was perfect. Great location, lodge was beautiful, food was more than enough, staff were lovely.
The entire tour from start to finish was just fantastic. Everything was very well organised, we had extremely knowledgeable guides, itinerary went to plan, very clean buses, great hotels… and such great value for money! Highly recommend this trip 10/10.
The holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia was AMAZING! Usually I am the one planning our trips in detail. However, this time around I wanted to try something different. Boy! This trip could not have been better. From accommodations to travel, to the guides, food. Met some people who will remain friends. This really was a fantastic trip and I could not reccommend enough.
The tour of Japan was excellent Our guide Mohini was so organised and efficient as was the bus driver Everyone loved Mohini , so knowledgeable and caring
All of it. Amazing holiday
Our First Trip a deal & so well-organised and for the cost unbelievable what we saw. Accommodation, bus trips, fabulous tour guide KC. We had an amazing tour group. We are looking forward to arranging another trip a deal. Thank you so much for a memorable trip.
Great tour Steve very friendly and helpful staff
Everything went so very well. The coordination of the flights so not too long waiting. The hotels and “tent” were great. The guides first rate. The whole organisation was fabulous!! The other people on the tour were friendly too! Well done Trip a Deal But could you get a lion to show itself in Kruger NP if I go again please!
This whirlwind tour is absolutely fantastic. The upgraded accommodation was above expectations, the guide excellent and the food delicious and varied, but best of all were the sights. We went in the hot season (very hot in India) but we saw everything, sensibly and safely. The pace was suitable to the conditions and there were appropriate and alternatives for those who couldn't manage the rare more strenuous activities. We did all the optional extra tours and were very pleased we did. The pre-departure information was good. The flights worked well for us, but some had a long wait on the last day in the Maldives.
Great value, excellent guide and driver, accommodation, excursions etc. we’d be very tempted to go more such trips.
The tour guide Ben was great in his knowledge about Japan
most of the trip was excellent plus, Shangai was out of my imagination, of course the others places like theatre, shaolin, markets, etc, etc. excellent all of that.
The trip was great. The hotels and service was very clean and the food was delicious. The visits to the attractions were well planned and the tour guide was amazing.
The resort was lovely and the flights were on time. Some of the staff at the resort were not as customer oriented as they could have been but some were just excellent Our room was always spotless. Plenty of things to do if you were looking for it.
The whole trip was good. We especially liked the visit to Hiroshima and learning how the people lived and their culture. Each town/city was different and unique in its own way. The whole country was so clean and the toilets no matter how remote the area were superbly clean too. Our tour guide Rajesh did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and ever ready to help us navigate through the whole trip. I especially appreciate how he assisted us with our meal selections via the vending machines (they were in Japanese). Would have been better if Trip a deal could have name tags for the travellers as there were 40 people and I found it difficult to remember names. Some of the hotels were a bit far out and it was not easy to find food for dinner, we had to get food from the convenience store.
Fantastic holiday. We enjoyed all regions of Vietnam, north, central & south. Each region was very different. Loved the cruise at LAN Ha Bay. We had a great group of people. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
This holiday was fast paced and wonderful, my friend and I are over 70 and we have come home tired but delighted. We had many highlights and got a great taste of Africa. Our small group of 7 got along really well. A negative observation: Singapore Airlines Check-in in Sydney were rude ( nothing to do with TripaDeal) and was understaffed. We queued for over an hour (even though most of us had checked in online). Flights were fine, a little disappointed with the age of the "Fleet" but flight staff were lovely.
We had an amazing group of people which was a highlight. All of the tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel in Seam Reap and Hoi an were excellent.
Our tour guides were excellent .The hotels were great and excursions good. Every day was a new highlight. The travel arrangements eg plane trips were terrible with no options provided. Overall I would highly recommend this holiday
The tour guides were wonderful. Both sunny and Eric spoke English beautifully. They were easy to understand and so knowledgeable about their country. We loved everything about the trip, from the highlighted adventures, the food and the extra tours.
Great total package. Accommodation was excellent throughout. Meals included were really good. All tours were first rate, the waterfalls, the islands, the caves are all a MUST see. The night stay in the floating cabins on the lake was great fun even though the cabins are in need of upgrading. The scenic beauty of the location made up for any cabin discomfort. Our tour guide (Can) was very helpful and obliging and we really enjoyed his sense of humour. Well done Trip a Deal this was a great holiday experience.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip! I was very well-organised; the rooms were great and clean, and the breakfasts were also fantastic. Bullet trains were awesome! We were very impressed with the fabulous tour guides assigned to us: Eric, Anna, Rocky and Molly. They were extremely knowledgeable and gave us a great insight into China. Our bus was well-stocked with essentials, so we were very happy. It was our first time to do a guided tour trip - we are now determined to do more trips like this. For the price we paid, 2 for 1 - $2815.00 was an excellent deal!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, TRIP A DEAL!!
Brilliant trip with the right size of 14 in the group. Would really have appreciated a slower start as landed late in the day in Sri Lanka and had to be up and ready at 7am the first full day. Our guide Udi was exceptional and full of knowledge and insight. Maldives was a lovely way to unwind after so much activity and travel in Sri Lanka.
The quality & location of places was great. The mix of touring and free time was well balanced. The guide was knowledgeable and had useful tips to avoid getting into difficulties with touts. The group had a challenging couple who had prebooked other activities which prevented some flex in activities allowing for weather conditions etc - this should be discouraged as many activities can be booked on the go. Pre travel information could have included dress code for temples to cover knees & shoulders - a sarong advisable. Be prepared for huge variation in temperatures from coastal and mountain areas. The group was a great size of 16 - couples tended to keep to themselves. Having another group doing the same thing enabled interaction with a broader group. Overall the trip was fabulous.
This holiday was the best. We were transported through Sri Lanka with the most wonderful guide Udi and his knowledge and help was phenomenal. Everything was organised and professional. Our plane trip was seamless and I was grateful for trip advisor for arranging my window seats on the plane trips. We loved everything on the Sri Lanka tour and opted to do the safari and the Horton Plains walk on the Sri Lankan tour. Both countries were phenomenal even though it was windy and raining for part of Sri Lana, we opted for Horton Plains tour, I found it exhilarating. Udi did not wear weather gear for the Horton Plains tour, so the driver of our bus took our walk. He was so kind and Led us safely along the 10 k walk. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name to let you know how wonderful he was. The Maldives section of the tour was also amazing with post card views and service. We swam with sharks and turtles, saw dolphins and pilot whales. The snorkeling was magnificent. The amount of food and beverages was non stop. Our waiter at the restaurant, Shameem seated us next to the window for a sea view during our meals. He remembered our preferences for drinks and continually surprised us with his impeccable service. The sea was swarming with fish , birds and crabs to entertain us. No need for mobile phones. If there was one thing for improvement it would only be the long bus ride from the mountains to Galle, in Sri Lanka. My back was sore and when we arrived at Galle, we opted to go straight to the hotel instead of touring the Dutch fort. We were tire from the long drive. We saw it the next morning. All of our accomodation was 5 star. Our bags were taken to our room and picked up at our door 30 min before departure. Can’t rave enough about this trip, just do it!!!!
We really enjoyed our trip with TAD, this is the 1st time we purchase our holiday with them. Based on our experience we will definitely purchase our next trip With TAD. Our tour guide Kito San is a very talented person and we learn lots of culture and Japan history from him. Well done Kito San.
This trip lived up to its name - plenty of wildlife and adventure! We had a fantastic guide, Sam, and 11 in the group was a great size. The itinerary was flexible and catered for all. Suggestions include improving on the Blackpool Hotel…. very tired and extremely disappointing service if ordering a la carte meals rather than the buffee.
I loved it so much I’m going to take my daughter on the same trip.
The tour was excellent but time on the road was a bit hard. Still, we enjoyed the tour guide, Rie, who was very informative on Japanese history and culture. The Japanese people were very friendly and hospitable and we felt very safe there. Mt Fuji was the highlight but also we liked the temples and shrines and the history attached to them. The free time was also very welcome to explore on our own. Overall a great trip.
We when on the 2for1 deal to Japan 8 days. The trip was very good. Saw a lot in the 6 days in Japan. Well organised. The tour guide was amazing.
My daughter and I loved every second of our trip to China and the amazing friendly Chinese people, what a wonderful country with so much to offer Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City, Great Wall of China, Terracotta Warriors & Horses, High speed train rides and much more. We enjoyed the company of everyone in our group, it was a special group with an unusual bond watching out for each other. Thank you to all the guides and bus drivers for all the fun and showing the wide range of experiences, fantastic effort. Also the red sticky rice group thanks for looking out for my daughter, we loved China and the amazing friendly Chinese people, what a great country.
Best holiday ever! The itinerary was perfect with lots to keep us busy as well as the occasional day to relax. The suggested add on experiences were fantastic and the Geisha/Dinner experience was a real highlight. Our tour guide Ben was amazing. Best tour guide ever! He is perceptive to each individual's need as well as the group's needs. As a guide, Ben knows how to make every experience a GREAT and lasting experience. Our Ultimate Japan holiday will be a forever experience and memory. Thanks Ben and Tripadeal.
We loved the overnight ferry and the Buller train ride. Maybe we could have a couple more days I in Tokyo offering some things like Skytree , go-karting or Skylabs
Great to have a small group with a very knowledgeable guide. Bus driver and assistant were great. Really enjoyed the hotels
The Serengeti was amazing with so many animals and we saw the big 5. The tour guides were very informative and our first one Oscar was very honest and informative Our last camp wasn’t the best ad we had to walk a fair distance ( my husband is disabled) and the facilities were not like the others. Kibo camp was the best. The people there are so friendly and very helpful
Was a great trip with my highlights being Great Wall and Terracotta Warriors, China is so diferrent to my last visit about 40 years ago and well worth the visit again.
It was our first time at an all-inclusive resort. The food and beverages were excellent and the entertainment was of a high standard. We have been to Bali several times before so only did one excursion, otherwise remaining on-site. The location, at Nusa Dua with the beach and activities right on property along with the views of shipping and other vessels added interest and the pool was huge and well appointed. The room and the grounds were great and very well maintained by the friendly staff.
Loved the Great Wall (even in the pouring rain) and the Terracotta Warriors. There was a bit too much time on trains and buses, but China is a big country, and we covered a lot of it.
the cruise director Can, made the trip extra special, the people on the trip were awesome. loved nearly all of it, just one hotel was pretty average (bed bugs!) , the rest were amazing, i would highly recommend this tour. not a fan of Malaysia air, very uncomfortable seats! all up though, the trip was incredible value
Our holiday was amazing!!! We highly recommend
The China tour was very well organised by Trip A Deal, the tour guides were excellent, the only downfall was the communication barrier, none of the Hotel staff could speak english.
Great structure. Sensational local guides - great knowledge, beautiful personalities and passion for the role
Our trip was very enjoyable, we were amazed at all the accommodation we stayed at and all the breakfasts we enjoyed so much. It was not stressful and had plenty of time to enjoy Sri Lanka. Special thanks to our Guide Gamini who went out of his way to organize TukTuks to the hotel for me when I was unable to finish any walks. Our only comment is the spice garden where we purchased items and latter when the cellophane rappers were removed there was no name or label on the bottles. We would recommend Trip A Deal to all people we know.
We had really amazing and informative guides, a great travel group, well planned itineraries and fantastic hotels throughout our trip. We loved every bit of it!
The entire trip was well organised. Our guide Youske, was absolutely amazing. For such a young man he was so patient and understanding. His knowledge was amazing. He took care that I didn't fall....again! after my nasty fall leaving Nagasaki War Museum. I had a very nasty black eye, bruised knee and other minor bruises, . He waited for me and held my arm. Crossing the vine covered bridge was a highlight! Our bus driver was excellent also. The trip was different to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, which is what I wanted. To see the real Japan.
Extensive itinerary covering rural and city highlights.
Overall I thought the itinerary was very good. 17day ultimate Japan Highlights included; 1. Our tour guide Sayo was brilliant and certainly made the experience extra special 2. So fortunate to see mount Fuji on a clear day 3. Loved everything about Osaka 4. Enjoyed the Ninja experience 5. Hiroshima was great but confronting, tour good 6. Thoroughly enjoyed the Comerant Fishing, dancers and bento box dinner. Improvements to be considered; 1. Some of the breakfasts offered by the hotels weren't up to standard, offered very limited western food. 2. Perhaps the visits to the shrines /temples could be reduced
Beautiful country Croatia. Only 14 people in our group, plenty of free time to explore once in port. Highlight - swimming in the Adriatic Sea. Improvement, perhaps the location of Hotel in Zagreb was in the middle of nowhere, too far to walk to the Old Town. The boat should supply drinking water, it’s a basic need and 4 Euro for a bottle was over the top. But overall a fabulous trip, would highly recommend.
The forbidden palace and the great wall were major highlights. Love the landscape and cities in the southern part of the tour. The organization of the legs of the tour were great, the two extra shows, Beijing (Golden Mask Dynasty) and Shanghai (Era2 Acrobats) were brilliant, also love the Hutong and Oldtown in Bejing. Shanghai skyline at night is pretty awesome and the oldtown was exciting and vibrant. Couldn't get enough of all the great local food throughout our whole trip, yummy. PS. pretty handy with chopsticks now if I do say so!!! Improvements - The southern part of the trip would have been nicer if we saw some of how the silk or pearls were harvested/ crafted (even a film display of it) rather than a majority focus on buy, buy, buy, but we understand the tour and the destination. Also, maybe a little more detail around the bullet train destination (it was a mad scramble with at lack of knowledge) and lastly some info on which parts of the tour we can do laundry, or the laundry service is available. Just little things, but helpful things. Post trip thoughts - We have changed our diet and lifestyle since this visit, and also wish we brought more silk!!!!!!!! Forrest and JZ amazed us not only with knowledge and understanding of Chinese history and culture, but the delivery was humorous and fit our personalities perfect. Best guides ever.
I thought the tour was good value for money. We saw a lot of places, some in more depth than others. some accommodation was a bit out of main centers. Overall we were happy with the whole experience. Dimitrius our tour guide was excellent. We had direct flights & had details early after booking. We would recommend.
Thank you for organising an amazing holiday for us. "An unforgettable experience". I was a bit unsure how T.A.D. worked, but many people told me that they had had wonderful experiences. They were right - everything was well organised and happened as the booking sheet said it would. A big shout-out to Adam Mastrolorito who I first spoke to. He was excellent and followed through and explained everything to me. It was our 50th wedding anniversary celebration and everything happened as it should. THANK YOU The only thing I would say could be better would be "including transfers from airport to and from hotels etc. I understand this would add more expense to the tour, but a lot of people travelling were older and trying to work out how to get to and from places was the most "stressful par"t, so we would pay the extra money for peace of mind. The cruise was wonderful and of course everything was there that we have come to expect. Everything lined up perfectly ie flights, cruise, hotels. Again, "THANK YOU T.A.D." I will encourage other friends to use your services. Just after I had made all of the arrangements for the trip, I was diagnosed with breast cancer from an incidental finding on a routine breast scan.!!!!! Shock, horror. I got through all the treatment, so the timing of this holiday was perfect (although I didn't know that at the time!!!!! Well done Trip-A -Deal
Great selection of cities and activities. Great tour guide (Giorgos Pirros), passionate, incredibly knowledgeable, very good sense of humor. Looking always after his clients, offering the best options.
Well organised, excellent service
