For all cruises departing from an Australian port, you are welcome to reward our onboard crew for exceptional service, however, tipping/gratuities are not required. 

For some cruises departing from ports outside of Australia, gratuities are automatically included or paid onboard. They will be distributed to members of the crew including your stateroom attendants, dining, culinary services staff, as well the onboard team who work behind the scenes. Additional service charges may apply for specialty restaurants and beverage purchases.

All shipboard expenses are charged to your Sail & Sign Card. Provide your Sail & Sign Card when you purchase anything on board and it will be added to your account. Your Sail & Sign Card is linked to your onboard account, which you will pay prior to final disembarkation.

Please note: For Australian departure ports, the onboard currency is AUD. For international departure ports the onboard currency is USD.

On boarding day, guests may bring one sealed 750 mL bottle or wine or champagne per adult, per sailing or a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk) may be brought in the guest's carry-on luggage.

All other liquor, beer, other forms of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited in both carry-on and checked luggage and such items will be confiscated and discarded and no compensation will be provided. Any purchase of alcohol in port will be safely stored onboard until the end of the voyage.

Please note: For Australian departure ports, the minimum drinking age is 18 years. For international departure ports, the minimum drinking age is 21 years.

All passengers must present a valid passport or government-issued photo ID for domestic cruises. 

For international cruises, all passengers must present a passport valid for at least six months after the return date of the cruise. Guests are responsible for all visas required.

Carnival Youth Programs are open for children and teens ages 6 months to 17 years. Onboard activities tailored to kids may include arts & crafts, active/sports, dance parties, scavenger hunts, karaoke, science & discovery, themed activities, video gaming, face painting, meals, movies and more.

Yes, each Carnival Cruises has an adults-only section onboard. The Serenity Adult-Only Retreat gives you the opportunity to relax and reconnect with your partner, finish that book, or blissfully, do absolutely nothing at all.

Carnival keeps you connected at sea with satellite internet access throughout the ship. A number of packages are available, giving you access to social media, with web and premium upgrades available.
