Borebukta is a remote bay located on the northwestern side of Isfjorden in Svalbard, Norway. Approximately 4.5 kilometres wide, it is situated in Oscar II Land, west of Bohemanflya. Longyearbyen is the largest settlement and administrative center of the Svalbard archipelago, located on the island of Spitsbergen. CLIMATE & AVERAGE TEMPERATURES
Tromso
In Tromsø, Norway, June and July bring mild temperatures with long daylight hours due to the Midnight Sun. Average temperatures in June range from 7°C to 13°C, while in July, they rise slightly to 10°C to 15°C. However, occasional cold spells can bring temperatures below 5°C, especially in early June. Rain is common, with frequent light showers, and the weather can be unpredictable, shifting between sunshine and overcast skies. Despite the cool temperatures, the near-constant daylight creates a unique and vibrant atmosphere, ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and wildlife spotting.

Copenhagen
Copenhagen in June and July offers pleasant summer weather, making it an ideal time to visit. In June, average daytime high temperatures typically reach around 19-20°C (66-68°F), while nights are cooler, dropping to about 11-13°C (52-55°F). It's one of the sunniest months with ample daylight hours (around 17-18 hours), and while there's a moderate chance of rain, showers are usually brief. The city's beaches and harbor baths become popular as the sea temperature begins to warm up. Moving into July, Copenhagen experiences its warmest period, with average daytime highs often reaching 20-21°C (68-70°F), and comfortable evening lows around 13-16°C (55-61°F). July continues to offer long daylight hours and plenty of sunshine, though it can be slightly wetter than June with a higher chance of scattered showers. Both months are generally considered comfortable and mild, perfect for exploring the city's outdoor attractions and enjoying the vibrant summer atmosphere.

Svalbard 
In Svalbard, June and July are the warmest months, but temperatures remain cool, ranging from 1°C to 7°C in June and 3°C to 10°C in July. The archipelago experiences the Midnight Sun, with continuous daylight creating a unique Arctic summer atmosphere. The weather is highly variable, with sudden shifts between sunshine, fog, and occasional rain or snow showers. Winds can be strong, adding to the chill, especially near the coast. Despite the cold, summer is an excellent time for exploring Svalbard’s dramatic landscapes, spotting wildlife like polar bears and Arctic foxes, and experiencing the region’s glaciers and fjords.

This may be due to non-refundable airline tickets, cancellation penalties with cruise cabins or unrecoverable payments with our land/accommodation partners. If refunds are not available from Suppliers, we will endeavour to obtain a travel credit on the best terms available and communicate these outcomes to you.
