Hurtigruten

The Hurtigruten Norwegian Coastal Voyages around the majestic coastline of Norway have been described as "The World's Most Beautiful Voyage". Hurtigruten (meaning "fast route" in Norwegian) began life in 1893. Until 2007, the line was known as Norwegian Coastal Voyage. Then, as now, the line served the isolated towns and villages sprinkled throughout the shoreline and fjords of Norway's western seacoast between Bergen on the south and Kirkenes, about 240 miles above the Arctic Circle. Known fondly as the coastal steamers or the mail boats, these vessels provided a vital lifeline to areas isolated from other forms of transportation.

MS Nordlys

MS Nordlys is a modern hybrid ship inspired by the spectacular Northern Lights, featuring elegant Nordic-inspired décor and a relaxed onboard atmosphere. Guests can enjoy panoramic lounges, an outdoor sun deck, sauna and fitness room, and a selection of restaurants serving locally sourced Norwegian cuisine. The ship also features an Expedition Team offering insights into Norway’s culture, nature and history, creating an immersive coastal experience.

Passengers who are not Australian citizens must also check with the respective consulate or visa agency to determine what their visa requirements are and what personal identification is required.

We suggest you start arranging your visa well in advance of departure to account for any delays due to consulate operating timeframes. TripADeal is not responsible for any passenger’s failure to obtain a visa or if you obtain an incorrect visa.
