Dear International Travel,

Oh how I long for you.

Though we haven’t seen each other in a while, I still remember everything about you like it was yesterday: your energy, your embrace, your spirit… you’ve left a mark on my heart that’ll last forever.

I love that you never minded my crazy ways, my messy hair, or my long haul pyjamas. You made me feel alive, like someone who could conquer any mountain, cross any ocean, take any risk and succeed.

Even from a distance, you still inspire me, taking my breath away with your beauty.

How I long for your warm touch, your gentle caress. I wish we could figure out a way to see each other, if only for a week, I’d even settle for an overnight escape…

Until then, I will spend every waking minute planning our next escapade. There are so many memories yet to be made, so much ahead of us.

They can’t keep us apart forever, we will find a way to be together soon.
