Stretch the legs on a fantastic bush walk through Alligator Gorge and enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of the Blue Gums. Travel further north and come late afternoon, check into Rawnsley Park Station. Relax and freshen up before we take a short drive to Wilpena Pound for a Welcome to Country in the language of the Adnyamathanha people. Enjoy Aboriginal songs, traditional stories, and local information as you are welcomed to the Flinders Ranges. Explore the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park and otherworldly Wilpena Pound. Take a two-hour walk to Wangara Lookout. This walk is a beautiful opportunity to see inside Wilpena Pound and see some wildlife. On this walk, you can also visit Hill's Homestead and learn the story of the early settlers who grew wheat inside Wilpena Pound. After a picnic lunch, you'll have exclusive access to traditional lands with access granted by permission of the traditional custodians of the land, the Adnyamathanha people. Here you'll witness the 630-million-year- old geology of the area, including sites of cultural significance, and spot abundant wildlife. Saying farewell to the Flinders Ranges, this morning you will visit the Jeff Morgan Gallery in the tiny town of Hawker to see an incredible 360-degree immersive panorama of the ranges. You will also stop in Quorn, a historical town which came into existence as an important railhead. Its old-style charm has seen Quorn chosen as the setting for many iconic scenes in iconic Aussie movies. Visit the Port Augusta Wadlata Cultural Centre to learn about the region’s history and understand the epic undertaking to open up the Eyre Peninsula and Nullarbor. En route, stop in for lunch at the outback town of Kimba and view the world-famous silo art. In the late afternoon, you'll arrive at Coodlie Park Farm Retreat for a BBQ feast and a yarn around the campfire. This morning you have the choice between two different itineraries: Option 1- One of Australia's best interactive wildlife experiences, swimming with playful Australian sea lions. This half-day cruise to the crystal-clear waters of Seal Cove off Port Lincoln is an Optional Extra guaranteed to be one of the best days of your life. Be amazed as the puppy dogs of the sea welcome your arrival with great excitement! This must be pre-booked and can be purchased at check-out. Option 2 - If you prefer to stay on dry land, start the day by exploring the breathtakingly beautiful Lincoln National Park. Enjoy a local produce morning tea at Stamford Hill after an invigorating climb. Visit Cape Donnington and the pristine beaches and lookouts on offer. Then it's back to Port Lincoln to meet the rest of the group and have lunch at the iconic Fresh Fish Place. With a full tummy, board the' Tesla', a unique electric canal cruiser. Enjoy a tranquil cruise around Port Lincoln's Marina and learn about Australia's largest commercial fishing fleet. We'll finish the tour at the picturesque Boston Bay Winery to meet owner Tony for some wine and coffee tastings. Feeling inspired and satisfied with your amazing six-day adventure, your guide will transfer you to the Port Lincoln Airport for your late afternoon flight back to Adelaide. TOUR GUIDE VS. TOUR LEADER
Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. They are a licensed, qualified expert who supplies specific information on history, art, architecture and culture of the city/village/attraction in which he or she is guiding the tour. The guide meets the group at the required place and leaves the group at the end of the tour, they do not travel with the group.
An experienced person tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of tours, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the whole trip. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides in each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village, and offer information on the place visited on the bus, however they are not required to have specific knowledge on art, architecture, or history. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction once there and if caught doing so, can be fined.
Please note: Tour leaders/guides are not a standard inclusion in all travel offers. Tour leaders/guides will only be made available when particularly required to enhance the experience of the destination featured.
CLIMATE & AVERAGE TEMPERATURES
South Australia has an average maximum temperature of 29°C in summer and 15 - 16°C in winter. The best time to visit Adelaide is from March to May and September through November, during the city's fall and spring.
All meals are included in the tour, for all other meals; the tour leader (when available) will offer assistance with reservations, suggestions and directions to local restaurants. It is your responsibility to notify TripADeal of any dietary requests/requirements. Please note; we will do our best to meet your requests/requirements, however cannot guarantee that we will always be able to.
You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and off-loading of the luggage from the coach.
Fitness Level Required / Mobility
Our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair access, so, unfortunately, our tours are currently not suitable for wheelchair users and those less mobile.

Gratuities / Tipping
Gratuities (tips) are not included in the tour price for services of the tour leader (when available) and driver throughout the tour. Tipping for all services provided on tour is always a matter of personal discretion, however please be aware that tipping is considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration and they may approach you for payment and there is no need to be intimidated by the request.
Please note: In the event entrance to a site is affected by changes in operating hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary where possible, will be adjusted or an similar activity will be offered in its place (subject to availability).
This includes booking changes requested by you, including but not limited to those changes requiring an airline ticket, date/accommodation changes or a Purchase Confirmation reissue.

In the event the Travel Offer you have purchased is unable to proceed, and/or a travel Supplier is unable to fulfil the Travel Offer due to external circumstances (Limitation of Liability e.g. a Force Majeure event), there may be a fee or amount of money that is withheld by our Suppliers and is unrecoverable. This may be due to non-refundable airline tickets, cancellation penalties with cruise cabins or unrecoverable payments with our land/accommodation partners.
