Day 10 Moorea, French Polynesia

Tendered: 08:00 - 20:00

Moorea is the picture-perfect vision of an ideal island paradise. Formed by volcanic activity, this heart-shaped island hidden a few short miles off the Tahiti mainland holds beaches that look out to bright blue waters and soaring green peaks of mountains. You can head to Tiki Village to experience a traditional Polynesian dance, hike up to Belvedere Lookout for views of the famous Cook's Bay and volcanic Mount Tohivea, or go snorkelling in the lagoon at Opunohu Bay. While you're here you can also check out the Moorea Dolphin Center to get up close and personal with nature's cutest, most intelligent sea creatures.

In Moorea, you'll find plenty of the Tahitian signature dishes including the chicken fafa which is baked in an underground oven with coconut milk and spinach. The island also offers higher-end spots serving innovative and regionally inspired fare such as prawn curry or mahi-mahi with ginger and lemon sauce.

Day 11 Raiatea, French Polynesia

Tendered: 07:00 - 18:00

Raiatea is traditionally known as ancient Havai'i, the sacred island at the centre of the Polynesian Triangle from which the islands of Hawaii and New Zealand were reached.

Along its eastern coastline is the ceremonial site of Marae Taputapuatea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where ancient Polynesians held rituals for their gods and sought safety for their seafarers. Today, Marae Taputapuatea is still used as a sacred departure point for voyagers crossing to other Pacific Islands in outrigger canoes. Emerald peaks rise in Raiatea's interior that are cloaked in tropical flowers, fruit trees, taro plantations and wild foliage. It's where streams trickle and waterfalls roar. With few beaches on the main island, the lush shoreline of Raiatea cedes to a vibrant lagoon hosting every shade of blue and coral reefs rife with marine life including reef sharks, rays and sea turtles.

Surrounding the main island are motu (tiny islets of palm trees ringed by white sand beaches) which are easily reached on a lagoon tour. Cruises to Raiatea, French Polynesia set you up for an incredible day trip to the sister island of Taha'a, where life moves slowly amidst the vanilla farms tucked in the foothills of the island's rolling hills.

Docked: 08:00 - 23:59

Papeete is the lively capital of French Polynesia on the island of Tahiti, a figure-eight-shaped island formed by the eruption of two volcanoes that's become a go-to spot for tropical adventure. A bustling urban centre, Papeete feels more French than anywhere else in Tahiti so head to the centre of the city to the vibrant Municipal Market where you can pick up coffee and chocolate croissants or shop for hand-carved Tiki statues.

Day 12 Raiatea, French Polynesia

Day 22 Auckland, New Zealand

Tendered: 08:00 - 20:00

The New Zealand greeting 'Kia Ora' sets the tone for an Auckland adventure as this Maori phrase is used by Kiwis of all ethnic backgrounds to say 'hello'. With three harbours and 18,000 miles of coastline, New Zealand's largest city offers all you could ask for from climbing the Sky Tower for panoramic views of the city, jumping on a scenic cruise to the Viaduct Basin in Wynyard Quarter to relaxing at a seaside brewery serving unique beers.

With the world's highest number of coffee roasters per capita, New Zealand is also all about cafe culture so drink a flat white. If you're after something savoury, seek out a hip farm-to-table spot for pastured-raised lamb roast or feast on whitebait fritters and green-lipped mussels at a waterfront seafood spot.

Please note this port is accessed by tender boats. Boarding and disembarking tender boats may involve steps and uneven surfaces. While cruise lines strive to provide ease of access, accessibility options can vary at different tender ports. Passengers with mobility concerns are encouraged to inquire about specific arrangements and consider their individual needs when participating in tendering activities.

Day 23 Bay of Islands, New Zealand

Tendered: 07:00 - 16:00

Look up! The Bay of Islands is said to have the world's second bluest sky after Rio de Janeiro. Located on the northwestern coast of New Zealand's North Island, the sea here is also a beautiful shade of turquoise, dotted with 144 subtropical islands of the area. Cruise to Bay of Islands and check out Urupukapuka Island, where you can hike through Maori village sites or relax on the white-sand beach. Visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds where the treaty that made New Zealand into its own nation was signed. Why not head out on an optional dolphin spotting cruise to see the population of bottlenose dolphins that call these waters home.
