Spend the day at leisure to explore the wonders of Quito. Alternatively, you can choose to participate in an optional activity.

Optional Tour: Quito Viewpoints Tour
Marvel at the beautiful city of Quito from different viewpoints throughout the city. A World Heritage Listed city, Quito is one of Spanish-speaking America's most extensive and best-preserved historic centres. Start your journey overlooking the city from the Guapulo neighbourhood, offering fantastic views of the colonial church and the valley beyond. On clear days, you can see the snow-capped Cayambe Volcano over the horizon. This spot is renowned as the place where Spanish conquistador Francisco de Orellana set out on his impromptu journey, which led him to become the first person to navigate the whole length of the Amazon River.

The views don't stop here. You'll then proceed to El Panecillo for further breathtaking views of the city horizon, and the opportunity to see the Virgin of Legarda monument. The final stop on your tour ends in the traditional neighbourhood of San Juan, one of the emblematic viewpoints of the city.

Optional Tour: Quito City Tour
Enjoy a truly unique experience in the heart of Quito city and discover its history through local eyes. Walk around its charming streets and visit the most iconic buildings, such as the Golden Church, San Francisco Square, and the Main Square. Visit Luis' local workshop, Cruz Verde (Green Cross), a well-known artisan whose family has prepared the local candy “Colaciones” for the last 100 years, keeping alive Quito ́s tradition.

For lunch, you can sit with locals and enjoy a tasty meal freshly prepared using local products and flavours. In the afternoon, walk on the colourful Ronda Street, where you can enjoy a giant empanada (traditional pasty).

Today begins at Moreno Point on the western coast of Isabela Island, near the entrance to the Bolívar Channel. Witness the striking Pahoehoe lava flows that wind their way into coastal lagoons, where you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of birdlife, including blue-footed boobies and flightless cormorants. The surrounding lakes and mangroves offer a rich habitat teeming with life, making it an ideal location for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers alike.

In the afternoon, continue to Mangle Point on the eastern side of Fernandina Island. This peaceful mangrove-lined inlet is best explored by panga or zodiac, drifting quietly through the groves in search of wildlife. Keep an eye out for sea lions lounging along the shore, marine iguanas, sea turtles, rays gliding beneath the surface, and an impressive array of coastal birds. With its calm waters and rich marine life, Mangle Point is also an excellent spot for snorkelling.

This morning, explore Urbina Bay on the western coast of Isabela Island, nestled at the base of Alcedo Volcano. The area experienced a significant uplifted from the sea in 1954, the area offers a fascinating landscape where stranded marine life still tells the story of this dramatic geological event. Follow a 3.2 kilometre trail through a mix of sand, pumice, lava, coral, and coastal vegetation, keeping an eye out for land iguanas, larger than those found on South Plaza Island, and burrows tucked into the earth. The area is also home to Darwin’s finches, giant tortoises, and native flora such as chamomile, rosewood, and the rare Darwin’s cotton flowers. Snorkelling here may reward you with sightings of penguins gliding through the water and vibrant red and blue lobsters hiding among the rocks.

In the afternoon, visit Tagus Cove, located to the west of Darwin Volcano. Once a refuge for pirates and whalers, the area still bears their legacy with 19th-century graffiti carved into the stone walls. The trail here is moderately challenging and leads to a lookout above the emerald waters of Darwin Lake, offering sweeping views of the bay below. Along the way, look out for finches, mockingbirds, and volcanic formations such as “lapilli”, small, spherical rock fragments formed during eruptions. Tagus Cove is also a fantastic spot for kayaking and snorkelling, with the added chance of encountering a colony of flightless cormorants nestled along the rocky shores.

This morning, visit Espinoza Point on Fernandina Island, one of the most untouched and remote corners of the Galápagos. Here, you’ll find dense colonies of marine iguanas sprawled across the black lava rocks, resembling miniature dragon armies basking in the sun. The site is also home to remarkable wildlife including the flightless cormorant, Galapagos penguin, Galapagos hawk, and even the elusive Galapagos snake. With its raw beauty and thriving biodiversity, Espinoza Point offers a true taste of the islands’ wild side.

In the afternoon, continue to Vicente Roca Point on the northwestern coast of Isabela Island. Framed by dramatic cliffs and striking lava formations, this bay is a haven for marine life. Snorkel or enjoy a panga ride through its nutrient-rich waters, where you may spot sea turtles, seahorses, sunfish (Mola mola), and an abundance of coastal birds such as penguins, blue-footed boobies, terns, and playful sea lions. It's a spectacular setting to explore both above and below the surface.

This morning, explore Espumilla Beach on the northern coast of Santiago Island, tucked within James Bay. Known for its stunning coastal scenery shaped by sea erosion, the area offers a fascinating mix of ecosystems, from dry palo santo forest to lush mangroves and humid zones. Wander the sand dunes where baby sea turtles may be seen nesting, and keep an eye out for a vibrant flamingo colony in the nearby lagoon. Wildlife is abundant here, with sightings of sea lions, fur seals, marine turtles, oystercatchers, herons, marine iguanas, and an array of sea and land birds, including the Galapagos dove, finches, and hawks. The landscape also tells the story of past conservation challenges, with visible signs of damage from previous invasive species like feral goats, now successfully eradicated.

In the afternoon, visit Puerto Egas, home to a striking black sand beach made of volcanic tuff. This site once housed a salt mining operation and its abandoned remains can still be seen scattered along the shoreline. Walk the trail past sea lion colonies to a series of tidal grottoes, where fur seals gather to swim and play in the pools. With its dramatic contrast of dark rock and the vivid red of Sally Lightfoot crabs, this is a photographer’s dream. Snorkelling here offers a chance to swim alongside marine iguanas, playful sea lions, and a colourful array of marine life.

This morning, explore the striking landscapes of Rábida Island, instantly recognisable by its rich red sands and rocks, coloured by oxidised volcanic material. A short walk leads to a saltwater lagoon where flamingos often gather, and land birds flit through the surrounding vegetation. Along the coast, watch pelicans plunge for fish against a vivid backdrop of red beach and green foliage. Snorkelling along the island’s shoreline is considered among the best in the archipelago, with opportunities to swim alongside playful sea lions and observe moray eels, small sharks, starfish, and an array of colourful reef fish.

In the afternoon, visit Sombrero Chino (Chinese Hat), a tiny volcanic islet off the southeastern tip of Santiago Island. This young volcanic cone lives up to its name, with a distinct shape that resembles a traditional Chinese hat. Wander among surreal lava landscapes dotted with vibrant red sesuvium plants, bright orange-billed oystercatchers, Sally Lightfoot crabs, and lava cacti. Sea lions, marine iguanas, lava lizards, and Galapagos penguins are commonly seen resting or playing along the shore. The channel between Chinese Hat and Santiago Island provides a sheltered deep-water snorkelling site with calm turquoise waters. Here, you might encounter white-tipped reef sharks resting in underwater caves, as well as stingrays, parrotfish, sea turtles, more penguins, and, if you’re lucky, a passing pod of dolphins or the rare sighting of a whale shark.

This morning, enjoy a peaceful dinghy ride through the serene waters of Black Turtle Cove, located on the northern coast of Santa Cruz Island. With engines turned off to preserve the tranquillity of the mangrove-fringed cove, drift silently through this protected habitat. Keep watch for sea turtles gliding beneath the surface, often feeding or mating, as well as black-tip, white-tip, and Galapagos sharks. You may also spot groups of golden cow rays, spotted eagle rays, egrets, and herons wading in the shallows or perched among the roots.

You’ll then be transferred to Baltra Airport for your return flight to the mainland. Be met and transferred to the hotel in Quito for the final night of your journey.

Lima is a huge and fascinating city, a melting pot of all things Peruvian, where world-famous restaurants sit alongside ancient archaeological sites. Known as The City of Kings, the Peruvian capital is packed with stunning colonial architecture, huge religious buildings, government seat, and other important structures.

This morning, after breakfast, set off on a city tour of Lima, starting with a brief stop at the Huaca Pucllana Archaeological Site, an ancient pre-Inca ceremonial centre, before continuing to Lima’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic centre. Explore the Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city, surrounded by grand colonial and Republican-era buildings with their signature carved wooden balconies. Iconic landmarks border the square, including the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Municipal Palace and the Palace of the Union.

From the square, walk to the Convent of San Francisco, one of Peru’s most important religious sites. Founded in the 1530s and completed in 1766, this remarkable complex has withstood centuries of earthquakes. Inside, its historic library preserves over 25,000 rare volumes in Spanish, English and Quechua — some dating back to the 16th century. The convent is built around a tranquil courtyard planted with mango and lucuma (yellow sapote) trees, while its walls feature striking murals of St Francis of Assisi. Among the highlights are a golden Baroque altarpiece and Diego de la Puerto’s famous 1696 painting of The Last Supper — notably featuring guinea pigs and potatoes on the table.

Descend into the eerie San Francisco Catacombs, Lima’s largest. Once a burial site for more than 25,000 people, the catacombs were in use until 1808 and rediscovered in 1947. Today, they fascinate visitors with their macabre yet intriguing arrangements of bones in geometric patterns.

After this memorable exploration of Lima’s history, return to the hotel where you can enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Welcome to Cusco, the Inca Empire's former capital and one of South America's most fascinating cities. Walking through the city centre, you can see the incredible mix of Inca and colonial architecture, watch the merging of indigenous and Spanish influences, and feel the history flowing through every cobblestone street. Cusco is located in the Peruvian Andes at 3,399 metres above sea level.

Today, embark on a half-day tour, visiting Cusco Cathedral, the Koricancha (Qorikancha), Sacsayhuaman and Tambomachay, giving you a deep insight into the city and its history. Walking through the city centre, you can see the incredible mix of Inca and colonial architecture, watch the merging of indigenous and Spanish influences, and feel the history flowing through every cobblestone street.

First, go to the wonderful Koricancha, located next to the Church of Santo Domingo. According to chroniclers, the Koricancha was the most sacred and important temple of the Inca Empire during the period immediately after the Spanish conquest. Its walls were covered in gold, and life-size statues of plants and animals, all pure gold and silver, decorated its rooms and corridors. Unfortunately, this wealth was stripped away by the Spanish conquistadors. 

Afterwards, visit the Cathedral of Cusco in the Plaza de Armas (Main Square). Built between 1560 and 1654 on the foundations of an existing Inca temple, this spectacular cathedral houses many works of art from the Cusco school of painters, and its high altar and pulpit are covered in gold and silver reliefs. The next stop is the imposing Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman (3,700 metres above sea level), which stands on a hill above Cusco. Here, you will see some of the best examples of Inca stonework and construction, including huge rocks carefully cut and fitted perfectly to form the walls. Then, visit the Qenqo Archaeological Complex (3580 metres above sea level), considered an Inca labyrinth with an altar with ritual motifs. Then head to Tambomachay (3,765 metres above sea level). The exact purpose of this site is unknown, but it may have functioned, at least in part, as an Inca spa. After a morning of exploring, have the remainder of the day at your own leisure.

After breakfast, enjoy a free day to explore Cusco at your own leisure. The capital city of the Inca Empire is the archaeological capital of the Americas, as well as the continent’s oldest continuously inhabited city. Alternatively, you can choose to participate in an optional activity.

Optional Activity: Maras & Moray
Embark on a captivating half-day tour of Maras and Moray, beginning with a pickup from your Cusco hotel at approximately 09:00. 

The journey to Moray takes about 1.5 hours, offering breathtaking views of the Andean landscape along the way. Pass golden wheat fields, charming traditional villages, and majestic snow-capped mountains. Upon arrival at Moray, explore its fascinating amphitheatre-like terraced structures. These circular terraces, believed to have been an agricultural laboratory for the Incas, showcase their innovative techniques for optimising crop growth. It's a truly awe-inspiring site that highlights the ingenuity of the Inca Empire. 

Next, visit Maras, located just 3 kilometres from Moray. Marvel at the ancient salt evaporation ponds carved into the mountainside. More than 3,000 pools collect salty spring water that evaporates to leave behind the renowned sal de Maras, a prized pink salt still harvested today. The view of these glistening ponds, resembling a blanket of snow or ice, is unforgettable. After exploring Maras, you'll return to Cusco, with drop-off at your hotel included.

Optional Activity: Rainbow Mountain Trek
Set off before sunrise on a breathtaking full-day adventure to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), one of Peru’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Your day begins with a 05:00 hotel pick up from Cusco, followed by a 2.5-hour drive southeast through the stunning Andean highlands to the village of Pitumarca. Continue to the Quesiuno trailhead, perched at an impressive 4,326 metres above sea level.

The hike covers approximately 3.6 kilometres on a round-trip (1.8 kilometres each way) along a gentle path, making it one of the more accessible routes to Rainbow Mountain. As you walk, take in sweeping vistas of snow-capped peaks, traditional Andean villages, and herds of alpacas and llamas grazing across the high plains. After around 1 hour and 20 minutes of walking, arrive at the summit of Rainbow Mountain, standing at 5,036 metres. You’ll have time to admire the incredible mineral-rich stripes that create the mountain’s vibrant colours and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

Your return trek takes approximately one hour, followed by a well-earned lunch in the area. Afterwards, sit back and relax as you make the 2.5-hour drive back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 18:00, concluding an unforgettable day in the Andes.

Please note: The Rainbow Mountain trek via Pitumarca requires a moderate to high level of fitness. The trail is relatively gentle compared to other routes, but the high altitude remains the main challenge. Consulting with your GP prior to travel to assess your suitability for this excursion is recommended.

At 19:00, make your way to a restaurant near Cusco's central Plaza de Armas for an unforgettable evening. Indulge in a fabulous buffet dinner featuring a wide selection of traditional dishes, including meats, fish, vegetables, and exquisite desserts. The culinary delights are sure to please every palate. As you dine, the evening comes alive with a vibrant traditional dance show. Immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Andes with folk and classical music performed on traditional instruments like the quena, charango, flute and zampoña.

After breakfast, depart the hotel and journey into the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Passing the impressive ruins of Saqsaywaman, cross the mountains before descending 450 metres to the fertile valley floor, where the Urubamba River winds its way past picturesque villages.

The first stop is Pisac, famous for its lively traditional market. Here, browse colourful stalls filled with local handicrafts, textiles and souvenirs. Continue to the Pisac ruins, perched high above the valley. During a guided tour, explore terraces, temples, tunnels and ceremonial altars, including the remarkable Intihuatana—the “hitching post of the sun.” 

Continue to Urubamba for lunch, before driving on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most important Inca sites. Once the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti, Ollantaytambo is both a living town and an archaeological wonder. Explore the Temple of the Sun, admire the colossal stone blocks shaped with astonishing precision, and learn about the Inca’s advanced agricultural terraces and sophisticated water systems.

Back in the town itself, see Inca-built water channels still flowing through the streets, as well as storage houses clinging to the mountainsides above. With its cobbled lanes and locals often dressed in traditional clothing, Ollantaytambo offers a rare glimpse of Andean life little changed over the centuries.

In the late afternoon, be transferred to the hotel in Ollantaytambo, where the evening is at leisure.

Today, transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo and board the Peru Expedition Train for a spectacular journey to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. As the train winds its way along the Urubamba River, be treated to breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley, with steep mountains rising dramatically on either side. The scenery shifts from fertile agricultural terraces and quaint Andean villages to lush cloud forest, where cascading waterfalls and dense greenery signal your approach to the edge of the Amazon.

Nestled at the base of the mountains leading to Machu Picchu, Aguas Calientes blends traditional Andean life with a vibrant tourist scene. The largely pedestrianised town is filled with colourful markets, souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants, making it a lively place to explore on foot. Framed by jungle-clad cliffs and with the Urubamba River rushing past, the setting is both dramatic and enchanting.

The town is also famous for its natural hot springs, where you’ll have time to unwind in the steaming pools after your journey (not included). You can also stroll through the bustling streets, browse local handicrafts, and soak up the atmosphere of this unique settlement. An early evening is recommended to rest and prepare for an early start tomorrow - a sunrise visit to the iconic Machu Picchu.

Optional Tour- Express Inca Trail Trek
Physical ability: Active (please refer to the Other Important Information section for a description).
You will be picked up early (approximately 06:00). Board the train for a 1.5-hour scenic ride to a point known as Kilometre 104 to start your short Inca Trail trek. From here, you will hike for approximately four hours to the Inca site of Wiñay Wayna (“Forever Young”), approximately 2,680 metres above sea level. Built on a steep hillside overlooking the Urubamba River, this archaeological site has ten baths and numerous Inca buildings displaying high levels of Inca masonry. Wiñay Wayna was discovered almost 30 years after the entire world knew about Machu Picchu and 40 years after Machu Picchu was first discovered. Little is known about what Wiñay Wayna was originally built for, however there are theories that it was built as a spiritual destination or resting place before reaching Machu Picchu, where elders and royalty would cleanse themselves in the baths. Others believe that the site functioned as a kind of administrative centre to keep track of the amount of produce stored on-site. After exploring Wiñay Wayna, you will continue your walk to Inti Punku (the Puerta del Sol, or The Sun's Gate). From here, you will have your first spectacular view of Machu Picchu. This site was believed to have once been the main entrance to Machu Picchu and was dedicated to Inti, the Inca Sun God. You’ll then head to Aguas Calientes where your afternoon will be spent at leisure. Begin the day with an early start, as you'll be collected from your hotel at approximately 05:40 to board the bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu. There will be time for breakfast before your transfer this morning.

Passing through the gates of the ancient site, embark on a guided two-hour tour exploring the most iconic and remarkable areas of Machu Picchu. Highlights include the House of the Guardian, Intihuatana, Temple of the Sun, Sacred Plaza and other significant landmarks. As you wander through this extraordinary archaeological complex, take in sweeping views of the surrounding mountains, plunging gorges and the terraced slopes of the citadel itself.

Return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time to relax and enjoy lunch (not included) before boarding the train back to Poroy. From there, continue by road to Cusco. Embark on a captivating half-day tour of Maras and Moray, beginning with a pickup from your Cusco hotel at approximately 09:00. The journey to Moray takes about 1.5 hours, offering breathtaking views of the Andean landscape along the way. Pass golden wheat fields, charming traditional villages, and majestic snow-capped mountains.

Upon arrival at Moray, explore its fascinating amphitheatre-like terraced structures. These circular terraces, believed to have been an agricultural laboratory for the Incas, showcase their innovative techniques for optimising crop growth. It's a truly awe-inspiring site that highlights the ingenuity of the Inca Empire. Next, you'll visit Maras, located just 3 kilometres from Moray. Marvel at the ancient salt evaporation ponds carved into the mountainside. More than 3,000 pools collect salty spring water that evaporates to leave behind the renowned sal de Maras, a prized pink salt still harvested today. The view of these glistening ponds, resembling a blanket of snow or ice, is unforgettable.

Optional Activity: Rainbow Mountain Trek
Set off before sunrise on a breathtaking full-day adventure to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), one of Peru’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Your day begins with a 05:00 hotel pick up from Cusco, followed by a 2.5-hour drive southeast through the stunning Andean highlands to the village of Pitumarca. Continue to the Quesiuno trailhead, perched at an impressive 4,326 metres above sea level.

The hike covers approximately 3.6 kilometres on a round-trip (1.8 kilometres each way) along a gentle path, making it one of the more accessible routes to Rainbow Mountain. As you walk, take in sweeping vistas of snow-capped peaks, traditional Andean villages, and herds of alpacas and llamas grazing across the high plains. After around 1 hour and 20 minutes of walking, arrive at the summit of Rainbow Mountain, standing at 5,036 metres. You’ll have time to admire the incredible mineral-rich stripes that create the mountain’s vibrant colours and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

Your return trek takes approximately one hour, followed by a well-earned lunch in the area. Afterwards, sit back and relax as you make the 2.5-hour drive back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 18:00, concluding an unforgettable day in the Andes.

Start your journey overlooking the city from the Guapulo neighbourhood, offering fantastic views of the colonial church and the valley beyond. On clear days, you can see the snow-capped Cayambe Volcano over the horizon. This spot is renowned as the place where Spanish conquistador Francisco de Orellana set out on his impromptu journey, which led him to become the first person to navigate the whole length of the Amazon River.

The views don't stop here. You'll then proceed to El Panecillo for further breathtaking views of the city horizon, and the opportunity to see the Virgin of Legarda monument. The final stop on your tour ends in the traditional neighbourhood of San Juan, one of the emblematic viewpoints of the city.

Today begins at Moreno Point on the western coast of Isabela Island, near the entrance to the Bolívar Channel. Witness the striking Pahoehoe lava flows that wind their way into coastal lagoons, where you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of birdlife, including blue-footed boobies and flightless cormorants. The surrounding lakes and mangroves offer a rich habitat teeming with life, making it an ideal location for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers alike.

In the afternoon, continue to Mangle Point on the eastern side of Fernandina Island. This peaceful mangrove-lined inlet is best explored by panga or zodiac, drifting quietly through the groves in search of wildlife. This morning, explore Urbina Bay on the western coast of Isabela Island, nestled at the base of Alcedo Volcano. The area experienced a significant uplifted from the sea in 1954, the area offers a fascinating landscape where stranded marine life still tells the story of this dramatic geological event. Follow a 3.2 kilometre trail through a mix of sand, pumice, lava, coral, and coastal vegetation, keeping an eye out for land iguanas, larger than those found on South Plaza Island, and burrows tucked into the earth. The area is also home to Darwin’s finches, giant tortoises, and native flora such as chamomile, rosewood, and the rare Darwin’s cotton flowers. Snorkelling here may reward you with sightings of penguins gliding through the water and vibrant red and blue lobsters hiding among the rocks.

In the afternoon, visit Tagus Cove, located to the west of Darwin Volcano. Once a refuge for pirates and whalers, the area still bears their legacy with 19th-century graffiti carved into the stone walls. The trail here is moderately challenging and leads to a lookout above the emerald waters of Darwin Lake, offering sweeping views of the bay below. Along the way, look out for finches, mockingbirds, and volcanic formations such as “lapilli”, small, spherical rock fragments formed during eruptions. Tagus Cove is also a fantastic spot for kayaking and snorkelling, with the added chance of encountering a colony of flightless cormorants nestled along the rocky shores.

This morning, visit Espinoza Point on Fernandina Island, one of the most untouched and remote corners of the Galápagos. Here, you’ll find dense colonies of marine iguanas sprawled across the black lava rocks, resembling miniature dragon armies basking in the sun. The site is also home to remarkable wildlife including the flightless cormorant, Galapagos penguin, Galapagos hawk, and even the elusive Galapagos snake. This morning, explore Espumilla Beach on the northern coast of Santiago Island, tucked within James Bay. Known for its stunning coastal scenery shaped by sea erosion, the area offers a fascinating mix of ecosystems, from dry palo santo forest to lush mangroves and humid zones. Wander the sand dunes where baby sea turtles may be seen nesting, and keep an eye out for a vibrant flamingo colony in the nearby lagoon. Wildlife is abundant here, with sightings of sea lions, fur seals, marine turtles, oystercatchers, herons, marine iguanas, and an array of sea and land birds, including the Galapagos dove, finches, and hawks. This morning, explore the striking landscapes of Rábida Island, instantly recognisable by its rich red sands and rocks, coloured by oxidised volcanic material. Along the coast, watch pelicans plunge for fish against a vivid backdrop of red beach and green foliage. Snorkelling along the island’s shoreline is considered among the best in the archipelago, with opportunities to swim alongside playful sea lions and observe moray eels, small sharks, starfish, and an array of colourful reef fish.

In the afternoon, visit Sombrero Chino (Chinese Hat), a tiny volcanic islet off the southeastern tip of Santiago Island. Wander among surreal lava landscapes dotted with vibrant red sesuvium plants, bright orange-billed oystercatchers, Sally Lightfoot crabs, and lava cacti. This morning, enjoy a peaceful dinghy ride through the serene waters of Black Turtle Cove, located on the northern coast of Santa Cruz Island. With engines turned off to preserve the tranquillity of the mangrove-fringed cove, drift silently through this protected habitat. Keep watch for sea turtles gliding beneath the surface, often feeding or mating, as well as black-tip, white-tip, and Galapagos sharks. You may also spot groups of golden cow rays, spotted eagle rays, egrets, and herons wading in the shallows or perched among the roots.
