Pick up location: From your Adelaide CBD accommodation (confirmed 48 hours prior).

Head out of the city through the picturesque Clare Valley wine region before heading into the Southern Flinders Ranges, where you’ll be struck by the wondrous scenery that unfolds before you. Stretch the legs on a fantastic bush walk through Alligator Gorge and enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of the Blue Gums.

Travel further north and come late afternoon, check into Rawnsley Park Station. Relax and freshen up before we take a short drive to Wilpena Pound for a Welcome to Country in the language of the Adnyamathanha people. Enjoy Aboriginal songs, traditional stories, and local information as you are welcomed to the Flinders Ranges. Following this special cultural experience, you will have dinner at the Wilpena Pound Restaurant.

Explore the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park and otherworldly Wilpena Pound. Take a two-hour walk to Wangara Lookout. This walk is a beautiful opportunity to see inside Wilpena Pound and see some wildlife. On this walk, you can also visit Hill's Homestead and learn the story of the early settlers who grew wheat inside Wilpena Pound.

After a picnic lunch, take a 4WD adventure to witness the 630-million-year- old geology of the area. Keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife of the area. End the day on a 'Sunset on the Chace' guided tour, where you’ll get a chance to enjoy a brilliant Flinders Ranges sunset overlooking the stunning Chace Range, while enjoying gourmet canapés. Head back to the Woolshed Restaurant to have an evening meal of local meats including lamb and kangaroo.

Saying farewell to the Flinders Ranges, this morning you will visit the Jeff Morgan Gallery in the tiny town of Hawker to see an incredible 360-degree immersive panorama of the ranges. You will also stop in Quorn, a historical town which came into existence as an important railhead. Its old-style charm has seen Quorn chosen as the setting for many iconic scenes in iconic Aussie movies.

Visit the Port Augusta Wadlata Cultural Centre to learn about the region’s history and understand the epic undertaking to open up the Eyre Peninsula and Nullarbor.  In the afternoon, arrive in the 'Seafood Capital of Australia' – Port Lincoln. Take a town tour to get your bearings and then check-in to your ocean view room at the award-winning Port Lincoln Hotel. Enjoy your first ‘taste' of the Eyre Peninsula during your evening meal at the acclaimed Sarin’s Restaurant.

After breakfast, it's time for some exploring around Port Lincoln, it's time for your first taste of ‘Australia's Seafood Capital', joining a ‘Seafood Lovers’ behind the scenes tour of the Fresh Fish Place. This one-hour experience includes tastings of fresh Mussels, Scallops, Squid, and Coffin Bay Octopus. Following the tour, enjoy an exquisite lunch of freshly caught seafood.

Next, it’s time to board an eco-friendly electric canal cruiser for a cruise through the Lincoln Cove Marina waterways. Local legend Fred will share 40 years worth of knowledge of Australia's largest commercial fishing fleet and tell a few sailors tales too. After the cruise head out of town to explore some breathtaking coastline including a scenic drive along the iconic Whalers Way. The last stop today is Mikkira Station, home to a wild koala population. Get up close and personal to the koalas as they eat the leaves from the many manna gum trees.

After a full day of exploring, settle in for dinner at award-winning Del Giorno’s where the restaurant owner will greet you and personally prepare a mouthwatering feast of local produce tasting plates from the sea to the land. Of course, matched with some Eyre Peninsula wine.

After breakfast, travel to Coffin Bay National Park and take your shoes off for a walk along a beautiful footprint-free beach. After morning tea, it's time to meet the makers behind Experience Coffin Bay - Chris and Linda. Soak up the pristine environment as you cruise the bay to a working oyster lease and learn about the oyster industry on the Eyre Peninsula.

Pluck fresh oysters straight from the lease, try your hand at shucking, and finally, taste! Then you will understand why Coffin Bay Oysters are recognised as the world's best and have been known to convert many a non-oyster eater. Cruising back towards town, sip on some local sparkling wine and keep your eyes peeled for the dolphins that call these waterways home.  With your taste buds wanting more, you can sit down to dine at 1802 Oyster Bar & Restaurant. Enjoy Chef Andy's favourite dishes sampling a range of local produce from the sea and land.

After a relaxing lunch, you will head back toward Port Lincoln to your final destination, the picturesque Boston Bay Wines. Here you will meet Tony and Sonia to learn about their second-generation vineyard and taste a range of premium wines. Those with a sweet tooth may swap the wine tasting for some locally made ice cream and coffee. 

Save some room for an exceptional culinary experience tonight. Join renowned Chef Kris Bunder for a seafood cooking masterclass in his private home overlooking the Port Lincoln Marina. Chris will prepare some of the Eyre Peninsula's best seafood for you and share his tips for creating sensational seafood dishes.

This morning you have the choice between two different itineraries:

Option 1- One of Australia's best interactive wildlife experiences, swimming with playful Australian sea lions. This half-day cruise to the crystal-clear waters of Seal Cove off Port Lincoln is an Optional Extra guaranteed to be one of the best days of your life. Be amazed as the puppy dogs of the sea welcome your arrival with great excitement! This must be pre-booked and can be purchased at check-out.

Option 2 - If you prefer to stay on dry land, start the day by exploring the breathtakingly beautiful Lincoln National Park. Enjoy a local produce morning tea at Stamford Hill after an invigorating climb. Visit Cape Donnington and the pristine beaches and lookouts on offer.

No matter which option you choose in the morning, the afternoon looks like this: visit highly acclaimed Line & Label Restaurant and Vineyard to end the tour in style as you sip on Peter Teakle Wines and taste an array of local produce in beautiful surroundings.

As you come to the end of your journey, your guide will drop you back to the airport for your 5.20pm flight to Adelaide. Your private airport transfer back to your Adelaide accommodation (not included) will be organised and will have you arriving back to your hotel at approx. 7pm.

TOUR GUIDE VS. TOUR LEADER
Tour Guide
Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. They are a licensed, qualified expert who supplies specific information on history, art, architecture and culture of the city/village/attraction in which he or she is guiding the tour. The guide meets the group at the required place and leaves the group at the end of the tour, they do not travel with the group. 
 
Tour Leader
An experienced person tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of tours, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the whole trip. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides in each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village, and offer information on the place visited on the bus, however they are not required to have specific knowledge on art, architecture, or history. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction once there and if caught doing so, can be fined. 
 
Please note: Tour leaders/guides are not a standard inclusion in all travel offers. Tour leaders/guides will only be made available when particularly required to enhance the experience of the destination featured. 
 
CLIMATE & AVERAGE TEMPERATURES
South Australia has an average maximum temperature of 29°C in summer and 15 - 16°C in winter. The best time to visit Adelaide is from March to May and September through November, during the city's fall and spring.

All meals are included in the tour, for all other meals; the tour leader (when available) will offer assistance with reservations, suggestions and directions to local restaurants. It is your responsibility to notify TripADeal of any dietary requests/requirements. Luggage
You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and off-loading of the luggage from the coach.

Our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair access, so, unfortunately, our tours are currently not suitable for wheelchair users and those less mobile.

Gratuities / Tipping
Gratuities (tips) are not included in the tour price for services of the tour leader (when available) and driver throughout the tour. Tipping for all services provided on tour is always a matter of personal discretion, however please be aware that tipping is considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration and they may approach you for payment and there is no need to be intimidated by the request.

Supplier Fees
In the event the Travel Offer you have purchased is unable to proceed, and/or a travel Supplier is unable to fulfil the Travel Offer due to external circumstances (Limitation of Liability e.g. a Force Majeure event), there may be a fee or amount of money that is withheld by our Suppliers and is unrecoverable.
