After making your own way to Perth, settle in to your accommodation. Perth is a stunning city, draped along the shores of the beautiful Swan River. Why not stroll down to glittering Elizabeth Quay and the Bell Tower via the Supreme Court Gardens, take in the view across the city from Kings Park, or treat your tastebuds at some of the amazing cafes and restaurants in the city.

Your journey starts with a picturesque drive south to the fabulous Margaret River region, with several stops along the way. In Mandurah, a coffee break by the foreshore is followed by a visit to the Featured Wood Gallery and Museum in Bunbury. At Busselton, walk off your delicious lunch with a stroll along the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere. After some free time to browse the shops and galleries in the Margaret River township, it’s time to head to your accommodation for the night.

Today, head to Redgate Beach to hear stories of the shipwrecks that sit offshore, then head underground to explore the spectacular Mammoth Cave. Next stop is the majestic Boranup Forest, dominated by 60 metre tall karri trees, and a tour of the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, Cape Leeuwin, before stopping for lunch. After lunch, it's time to head back to your Perth accommodation.

This morning you will join the Indian Pacific, departing Perth and heading east through the delightful Avon Valley. Take time out to enjoy the iconic train and relax on board in anticipation of your late-night arrival into the Golden Outback region for an Off Train Excursion where you can learn about the Gold Rush.

With its bold wedge-tailed eagle emblem symbolising the scope, range and significance of each epic journey, the Indian Pacific traverses mountain ranges, passes through arid deserts and goldfields, rocky valleys and subtropical savannahs on its transcontinental crossings. Named for the two oceans the train encounters on its journey, the Indian Pacific travels between Perth, Adelaide and Sydney on a spectacular 4352km crossing.

18 meals are included in the tour, for all other meals; lunches and dinners the tour leader (when available) will offer assistance with reservations, suggestions and directions to local restaurants. It is your responsibility to notify TripADeal of any dietary requests/requirements. Luggage:
You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and off-loading of the luggage from the coach.

Supplier Fees
In the event the Travel Offer you have purchased is unable to proceed, and/or a travel Supplier is unable to fulfil the Travel Offer due to external circumstances  (Limitation of Liability e.g. a Force Majeure event), there may be a fee or amount of money that is withheld by our Suppliers and is unrecoverable. This may be due to non-refundable airline tickets, cancellation penalties with cruise cabins or unrecoverable payments with our land/accommodation partners. TripADeal has committed to these costs as your Agent and will endeavour to recover all funds committed and/or paid for your Travel Offer, but this may not be possible in all circumstances. If refunds are not available from Suppliers, we will endeavour to obtain a travel credit on the best terms available and communicate these outcomes to you. In the event, TripADeal is unable to obtain a refund or travel service credit, or part thereof, this cost is passed on to the customer as a Supplier Fee.
