Arrive into Amsterdam and be transferred to the hotel accommodation.

Following breakfast at the hotel, tour some of the city’s major attractions, including the Royal Palace and National Monument. You will have the option of hopping onto a glass-topped boat (not included) for an hour-long cruise along the canals. Continue on to Coster Diamond Factory and see how diamonds are cut and prepared for market, using techniques that have been in use since the 16th century. Next stop is Zaanse Schans, the windmill capital of Holland. Visit the Wooden Shoe Workshop & Museum and the Cheese Farm (entrance not included) to see how clogs and cheese are made. For those who wish to take a peek into one of Amsterdam’s more colourful neighbourhoods, finish the tour with a visit to the world-famous Red Light District.

After breakfast, leave Amsterdam behind and drive east across the border into Germany, bound for Hamburg. Here enjoy a walking tour of the city with the tour director. Near the centre of the city find Inner Alster Lake, which is dotted with boats and surrounded by cafes. The city’s central Jungfernstieg boulevard connects the Neustadt (new town) with the Altstadt (old town) and is home to landmarks like 18th-century St. Michael’s Church. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city at leisure taking in the picturesque landscapes offered with the many remarkable buildings, canals and parks.

After breakfast, depart the city of Hamburg and continue onwards to Berlin, where you will enjoy the sights of this historic city on a bus tour. Once a city of contrasts with the Berlin Wall separating two different worlds, the united city now has developed into a harmonious blend of the new and old, preserving its historical buildings and impressive boulevards, as well as creating brand new buildings in the most daring architectural styles.

This morning the tour director will take you on a full day exploration of this beautiful city, taking in sites such as the Tiergarten Park, Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor), and the Berlin Wall. Then tick off some east Berlin gems including Potsdamer Platz, Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom), and Museumsinsel (Museum Island) to name a few.

After breakfast at the hotel, journey on to the spectacular Czech city of Prague, a city renowned for its spectacular Gothic and Baroque architecture. After breakfast at your hotel, bid farewell to the Czech Republic and cross the border into Austria. Continue onwards to historic Vienna, one of the most aristocratic cities in Europe. The Vienna State Opera; the Austrian Parliament Building; Vienna City Hall; the Hofburg, a former imperial palace; and St Stephen Cathedral are just some of the points of interest you will see today.

After breakfast at the hotel continue east into Hungary and on to beautiful Budapest. Buda Castle dominates the twin cities of Buda and Pest, separated by the broad ribbon of the Danube. Here you will have the option to take a scenic two hour Danube night cruise (not included).

After breakfast, begin a tour of Budapest with the tour director. Begin at the Hungarian State Opera House, the City Park and Heroes Square, where you will see impressive statues of Hungary’s most important national leaders. After walking through the park, come to the Vajdahunyad Castle, constructed in 1896 as part of the Millennial Exhibition. Continue on with a short stop to see the popular Szechenyi Spa, Europe’s largest thermal bath, before returning to the city centre. There, encounter the neoclassical structure of St. Stephen’s Basilica, the second tallest building in Budapest. Walk along the Danube Promenade, taking in the panoramic views of Gellert Hill and the Citadel, and take the opportunity to snap a photo of the famous Chain Bridge. Conclude the tour in the Buda Castle District, where you can take photos from the stunning lookout at Fisherman's Bastion.

After breakfast, continue to Zagreb, Croatia’s northwestern capital. Take in important landmarks of the Lower and medieval Upper Town such as the Bloody Bridge, St. Mark's Square, the Parliament, the Stone Gate, the Archbishop's Palace, and the majestic Cathedral.

After breakfast cross Slovenia en route to Italy, arriving in the romantic city of Venice early in the afternoon. On the way, stop for lunch in Ljubljana (not included), the charming capital of Slovenia. Enjoy some time to explore before carrying on to Venice. Upon arrival into Venice you will be checked into the hotel. Take the opportunity to spend your evening at the upper-class Mogliano Veneto neighbourhood, or, for those who can’t wait, be the first to visit St Mark’s Square.

Optional Tuscany Winery tour - €40 per person
Today, you have the option to join a Tuscany wine tour in the Chianti Classico region and San Gimignano. Start by driving southbound to Monteriggioni, a perfect preserved medieval castle also known worldwide for its countryside of unrivalled charm. The town’s castle walls offer stunning views of the surrounding Chianti region. Continue to San Gimignano, A UNESCO world heritage site, is also called the “city of the beautiful towers”; here you can still admire the 14 towers, a symbol of the power and wealth of its inhabitants during the Middle Ages. Continue to a local renowned winery and vineyard, in order to relish a snack consisting of local delicacies as well as a selection of fine wines.

After breakfast continue south to Rome. En route there will be a short stop at the town of Orvieto, where you will have the chance to taste the famous white wine of the region. Arrive in Rome in the afternoon and settle into the hotel. For those who cannot wait for the following day’s tour, the tour director will be available to take those interested for an evening walk taking in Rome’s famous piazzas.

Today enjoy a guided walking tour of the city. See ancient Roman architecture, medieval buildings, Renaissance artworks, and remnants of Rome’s illustrious past as capital of the Roman Empire. Later enjoy the option of taking a guided walking tour of the Vatican City (not included). Continue to the Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, and finally the Piazza Navona, where you will have some free time.

Afterwards the bus will continue to the Colosseum, where you will have time to see the ancient amphitheatre, the Arch of Constantine, the Roman Forum and the Capitol Hill (entrances not included). Enjoy some free time in the afternoon before returning to the hotel to spend the evening at your own leisure.

TOUR GUIDE VS. TOUR LEADER
Tour Guide: 
Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. They are a licensed, qualified expert who supplies specific information on history, art, architecture and culture of the city/village/attraction in which he or she is guiding the tour. The guide meets the group at the required place and leaves the group at the end of the tour, they do not travel with the group. 
 
Tour Leader: 
An experienced person tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of tours, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the whole trip. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides in each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village, and offer information on the place visited on the bus, however they are not required to have specific knowledge on art, architecture, or history. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction once there and if caught doing so, can be fined. 
 
Please note: Tour leaders/guides are not a standard inclusion in all travel offers. Tour leaders/guides will only be made available when particularly required to enhance the experience of the destination featured. 
 
CLIMATE & AVERAGE TEMPERATURES
Amsterdam:
Summer in Amsterdam typically means good weather. The average high temperatures in the summer are 18°C for June, 20°C for July, and 21°C for August. Winter, from December to February is cold: temperatures are on average around 0 °C at night and a few degrees above during the day. When the westerlies blow, temperatures can be quite mild, and can reach 10/12 °C.
 
Hamburg:
During the months of June, July and August you are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures. On average, the warmest month is July. The coldest month is January on average.
 
Prague:
July is the hottest month in Prague with an average temperature of 18°C and the coldest is January at -1°C. During the months of June, July and August you are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures. 
 
Berlin:
Berlin has a continental climate with cold winters, hot summers and fairly mild autumns and springs. Summer (June to August) weather in Berlin is pleasant and sunny, the days are long and high temperatures average 23°C, particularly in July and August. January and February are usually the coldest months.
 
Budapest:
The climate of Budapest is continental with cold winters and warm summers. The average temperature ranges from -1.5 °C in January to 21 °C in July. During the months of May, June, July, August and September you are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures.
 
Zagreb:
The mean temperature in Zagreb, Croatia is quite mild at 11.3°C. July is the warmest month with an average temperature of 21 °C. January is the coldest month with an average temperature of 0 °C.
 
Venice:
The climate of Venice is constant but it can also vary from day to day. In January the days can be cold and windy but it might also be sunny. In the heart of summer it can be incredibly warm with the average monthly temperature rising above 25 °C starting June.
 
Florence:
The warmest months are July and August, while June and September are both nice with warm weather without it being too hot. The coolest months are December and January.
 
Rome:
Officially spring is during the months of March, April and May in Italy. Summer is from June through to August. Autumn is during the months of September, October and November and winter is from December to February. July is the hottest month in Rome with an average temperature of 26°C and the coldest is January at 8°C.

At TripADeal we do not arrange seat selection. It is important to highlight that some Airlines do not allow pre-selected seats. We strongly suggest you contact the Airline directly with seating allocation requirements and or arrive at the airport earlier to arrange your seating. While we do not add frequent flyer member details to bookings, you can do this directly with the Airline once you have your flight information.
 
Passport Validity:
Customers are required to provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase, or no later than 45 days prior to departure date. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the booking. In this instance customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred.
 
COACH TOUR
Meals:
Daily breakfast is included in the tour, for all other meals; lunches and dinners the tour leader (when available) will offer assistance with reservations, suggestions and directions to local restaurants. It is your responsibility to notify TripADeal of any dietary requests/requirements. Please note; we will do our best to meet your requests/requirements, however cannot guarantee that we will always be able to.
 
Luggage:
You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and off-loading of the luggage from the coach.

Our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair access, so unfortunately our tours are currently not suitable for wheelchair users and those less mobile.

Yellow Fever:
A valid international certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever is required in many countries. You may need to present this on arrival at the airport or border crossing. Some countries will refuse entry if you are unable to present your certificate. It's also quite common for your home country to request a Yellow Fever certificate on your arrival back home. It is your responsibility to check with your doctor well in advance of leaving home about the Yellow Fever requirements for the countries you'll be visiting.
 
Gratuities / Tipping:
- Gratuities (tips) are not included in the tour price for services of the tour leader (when available) and driver throughout the tour. The recommended tip is €5 per person per day this covers the guide/leader and the driver, which will be collected whilst on tour. 
- Tipping for all services provided on tour is always a matter of personal discretion, however please be aware that tipping is considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration and they may approach you for payment and there is no need to be intimidated by the request.
 
Sightseeing:
Please note: In the event entrance to a site is affected by changes in operating hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary will be adjusted to ensure you do not miss out on the experience. 
 
Shopping:
Shopping overseas can be a daunting and confusing experience, especially when there is a language barrier. Please be very cautious when foreign currencies and prices are involved. If paying by credit card, please pay close attention to the amount you are being charged and keep all of your receipts. 
Do not make any purchases you are not comfortable with or feel pressured into. If you are uncertain or need assistance with the language barrier, please seek assistance from your Tour Guide/Leader.

A tourist visa is not required if travelling to Europe on an Australian Passport
 
Please note: Passengers who are not Australian citizens must check with the respective consulate or visa agency to determine what their visa requirements are and what personal identification is required. It is also important to note, some areas of employment such as journalism, government authorities and charity organisations may have additional restrictions in applying for Visas. This may in turn affect the type of application required.

Voluntary Changes


This includes booking changes requested by you, including but not limited to those changes requiring an airline ticket or a Purchase Confirmation reissue.

·    1st Change - $100.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

·    2nd Change - $150.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

·    Subsequent changes - $250.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

·    Changes within 30 days of departure $350.00 person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

·    Changes within 14 days of departure $500.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

 

Name Changes Due To Passenger Error
·    If the incorrect name has been advised to TripADeal, charges of $150.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.
