Customer Reviews

Every day was an adventure, we saw many animals including the Big 5, although I went for the Gorillas they were only a small part of the overall holiday it had so many highlights, I enjoyed all the sights and sounds along the way.

The group size of 6 was perfect and so nice to travel with fellow Australians with similar interests.

I hope that you continue to run this trip so others can experience the wonderful experience for themselves. Thank you again for making my life dream a reality.

Climate & Average Temperature
Uganda is near the Equator. As a result the climate does not change much and the country can be visited throughout the year. The rainy seasons tend to be from February to April and October to December, but this varies in different areas and it can rain anytime of year, especially in the forest and mountainous areas. Travel can be slower in the rainy season but the views are often better. Gorilla tracking can be muddier but it can certainly be done. In the mountainous areas it is much colder than on the plains and the rainfall is greater. The temperatures on the plains tend to be between 21°C and 30°C and in the mountainous areas they can go down to 10°C in certain months, especially November.

Tour Guide:
Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides in each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village, and offer information on the place visited on the bus, however they are not required to have specific knowledge on art, architecture, or history. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction once there and if caught doing so, can be fined.
