Today depart from either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth for Oslo! Fly with either Lufthansa, Swiss Airways, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Etihad Airways or Thai Airways to name a few (subject to availability).

Upon arrival into Oslo, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

After breakfast meet the local tour leader who will be with you throughout the tour. Drive through Hønefoss to Geilo, where you will board the local NSB train for a journey into the Norwegian fjord landscape. The train departs around noon to Myrdal, and in Myrdal you will switch to the historical mountain train Flåmsbana. It is a magical one hour train journey, which presents opportunities to witness waterfalls up close. Upon arrival into Flåm, you will take a two hour cruise between Flåm and Gudvangen to the deepest fjord in Norway, the Sognefjord. Meet the coach in Gudvangen and drive to panoramic Stalheim.

This morning, travel via Voss and into the Bergen - Capital of the fjords. Arrive at approx. 12:00pm. You will meet the English-speaking local guide at the Fish Market Square, and have a guided tour of the most famous attractions of the city. Finish the tour at 2:00pm at the Fløibanen Funicular. Continue up on the funicular to Mount Fløyen, at the top is an outstanding view of Bergen. Those who wish to spend a little time shopping around at the local market can stay at the harbour front. At 3:30pm, meet the coach again and transfer to the hotel for check in.

This morning drive south towards Stavanger on the North Atlantic Sea. Travel by ferry from Helhjem to Sandviksvåg, passing the picturesque town of Ålesund, and then continue on to Stavanger, with a ferry crossing between Mortavika and Arsvågen. In the evening take an opportunity to enjoy a short stroll along the beautiful old harbour in Stavanger.

Enjoy a free day at leisure to explore the historic harbour town of Stavanger. An optional cruise to the spectacular Lysefjorden fjord is also possible (not included).

Enjoy some free time this morning until check out at 10:30am. Meet the coach for a drive along the southern coast towards Kristiansand. Here board the Colour Line ferry towards Hirtshals in northern Denmark. The ferry leaves at 4:30pm, and arrives at 7:45pm. Onboard there are plenty of opportunities for shopping and dining. Please make sure to have dinner onboard (not included), as upon arrival there is a 2.5 hour drive down the northside of Denmark. Arrive into Jutland's capital, Aarhus - the second largest city in Denmark. Check in and overnight. For those who wish to enjoy a late summers evening, it's a nice stroll along the Aarhus Harbour with plenty of small and cosy bars and cafes.

This morning check out of the hotel and drive south, across the fjord of Vejle and the Island of Funen. Make a short stop at Odense for a stroll in the city centre of Denmark’s third largest city, and the former home of famous fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen. After the stroll, cross the Great Belt Bridge towards Sealand, and reach Copenhagen around 2:00pm. Meet the local tour guide in front of the Tivoli Gardens, and go for a sightseeing tour. See famous local sights including The Christiansborg Parliament, The Royal Palace, The Little Mermaid, Strøget - the longest pedestrian street in Europe - and the Nyhavn Canal, an area home to numerous restaurants and bars.

At 4:00pm, check in to the hotel. In the evening finish the tour by visiting one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, the incredible Tivoli Gardens with the illuminated lights. Optionally you can order a 3 course farewell dinner (not included) in one of the most historic restaurants of the Garden, Påfuglen. Please note: this dinner has to be ordered 30 days in advance, in order to make sure there will be space.

After breakfast enjoy the morning at leisure. Check out at the latest is 11:30am. A coach transfer will be arranged from the hotel to the cruise port (guide assistance, no tour leader). TOUR GUIDE vs TOUR LEADER
Tour Guide: 
Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. They are a licensed, qualified expert who supplies specific information on history, art, architecture and culture of the city/village/attraction in which he or she is guiding the tour. The guide meets the group at the required place and leaves the group at the end of the tour, they do not travel with the group. 

Tour Leader: 
An experienced person tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of tours, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the whole trip. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides in each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village, and offer information on the place visited on the bus, however they are not required to have specific knowledge on art, architecture, or history. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction once there and if caught doing so, can be fined. 

Please note: Tour leaders/guides are not a standard inclusion in all TripADeal travel offers. Tour leaders/guides will only be made available when particularly required to enhance the experience of the destination featured.

COACH TOUR
Meals:
Daily breakfast is included in the tour, for all other meals; lunches and dinners the tour leader (when available) will offer assistance with reservations, suggestions and directions to local restaurants. You can also enquire about any allergies and food and if necessary advise meals to be to be prepared with any medication you require.

Luggage:
You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and offloading of their luggage from the coach.

Gratuities:
Gratuities (tips) are not included in the tour price for services of the tour leader (when available) and driver throughout the tour. The recommended tip for the tour leader and driver is €5 per person per day, which will be collected whilst on tour. Pre-paid gratuities onboard the cruise are included in the package price. Any optional extras purchased onboard the cruise will have up to an 18% gratuity added.

Fitness Level Required / Mobility:
Our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair access, so unfortunately our tours are currently not suitable for wheelchair users and those less mobile.

A Tourist visa for Europe is not required for stays up to 90 days. A visa for Russia is a strict requirement ONLY if you choose to enter independently into Russia without an organised shore excursion as part of cruise (please note a Letter of invitation will be required in this instance)
