After breakfast, start a city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated); Red Fort (made famous by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan); and Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India) which has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. Take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, the main street of Old Delhi in the colourful shopping bazaar. Next up is Laxminarayan Temple, a site dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune. India Gate is a 42m high stone of triumph and is a war memorial. The tour continues with a visit to Rashtrapati Bhawan, the palace-like building home to the President of India. Afterwards visit the beautiful Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahai Temple. Adherents of any faith can visit, pray or meditate.

Delhi (Standard or Premium Hotel Option) Meals included: Breakfast;Dinner

After breakfast depart by surface to Agra. On arrival check in at the hotel. Agra is the quintessential Mughal City, where the world marvels at the epitome of love, beauty and sacrifice, The Taj Mahal one of the wonders of the world. So overwhelming is the magic monument, that Agra has been immortalized, as the City of the Taj. As visitors walk down the narrow bustling streets, they cannot help but wonder, if the man contentedly smoking a hookah, is a direct descendent of some bygone Mughal. In the evening enjoy ‘Taj Mahotsav’ - the cultural bonanza where you can experience India’s rich arts, crafts, cultures, cuisine, dance and music. At Taj Mahotsav around 400 legendary artisans from different parts of the country display their exquisite works of art and craft. One can experience the majestic and magnetic performances by artists from every walk of life. The Mahotsav is also a delight for the connoisseurs of good food as it is the ideal place to pamper the taste buds.

Agra (Standard or Premium Hotel Option) Meals included: Breakfast

Enjoy a morning city tour visiting the Taj Mahal, built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Besides the Taj, the Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort) makes an interesting sight. This evening take another opportunity to enjoy the Taj Mahotsav.

Agra (Standard or Premium Hotel Option) Meals included: Breakfast

After breakfast depart by surface to Jaipur, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. A UNESCO world heritage site due to its stunning imperial complex of pavilions and palaces spread amongst a large abandoned 'city'. On arrival in Jaipur check-in at the hotel. The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is instantly recognisable for it’s pink-washed buildings, a colour associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This beautiful city along with Agra and Delhi form what is known as the Golden Triangle of Indian tourist circuit. Jaipur is a city where royalty still lives in the grandeur of its palaces, where fighting for the honour of the clan has never been a need but a way of life, and where treating guests as gods has been a tradition from time immemorial. There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur's colourful bazaars where one can shop for Rajasthani textiles and trinkets. Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvellous heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas are worth admiration. Not to mention the ambling camels and cheerful people in multi-hued costumes that make your trip to the pink city a memorable one. Enjoy a sari and turban tying demonstration and enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel.

Jaipur (Standard or Premium Hotel Option) Meals included: Breakfast;Dinner

Today enjoy a full day city sightseeing tour of Jaipur. To start take a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Amber Fort is located 11kms from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber. The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and looks even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold but as one looks on the fort with its clear reflection on the lake in the front, one cannot help but wonder if it is a dream or a beautiful illusion. This afternoon visit the City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Also visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple.

Jaipur (Standard or Premium Hotel Option) Meals included: Breakfast

After breakfast enjoy Holi, an ancient festival of India and was originally known as 'Holika'. The festivals finds a detailed description in early religious works such as Jaimini's Purvamimamsa-Sutras and Kathaka-Grhya-Sutras. Historians also believe that Holi was celebrated by all Aryans but more so in the Eastern part of India. It is said that Holi existed several centuries before Christ. However, the meaning of the festival is believed to have changed over the years. Earlier it was a special rite performed by married women for the happiness and well-being of their families and the full moon (Raka) was worshiped.
