After breakfast, enjoy a half day Cape Town city tour. Including all the 'must-sees' of any Cape Town day tour, this introduction is a geographical and cultural extravaganza, showing you Cape Town, from its historical beginnings to the dazzling modern shopping malls of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. End the tour by taking an optional ride on the cable car up Table Mountain (the ticket is not included as it is weather dependent).

This awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point encompasses magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, and picturesque coastal villages. The Cape Peninsula is one of the world's most scenic areas and stretches from the city centre all the way to Cape Point. In Simon´s Town you will stop for the chance to see penguins and to have lunch (not included). On the way back you will also visit the beautiful Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Note: The drive via Chapman's Peak is subject to the road being open. Ou Kaapse Weg (mountain pass in Cape Town) will be used as an alternative route when necessary.

This delightful drive winds its way to the heart of the Cape Winelands, through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. You will of course be able to do a couple of wine tastings too. You will most probably stop for lunch in Franschhoek (not included).

Today enjoy a day at leisure - Cape Town has a lot to offer! Stroll around town, shop at the waterfront, visit the Aquarium, or take a trip out to Robben Island (not included) where Nelson Mandela was kept for 17 out of his 27 years in prison.

This morning you will be picked up and transferred to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit (Kruger National Park). On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport you will be met and transferred to the safari lodge (approx. 45 mins drive). In the afternoon take part in your first Game Safari by open air 4x4 vehicles! Gomo Gomo Game Lodge is a private and intimate luxury camp situated in the prestigious Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, giving you best traverse viewing. The Klaserie now forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park with a common unfenced boundary. The traversing area is approximately 6000 hectares (14800 acres) of the reserves, offering guests varied landscapes with an excellent possibility of coming face to face with the Big 5 (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) and numerous other mammals and bird species in their natural habitat. Guests are accommodated in fully furnished, brick and thatch chalets all with en-suite facilities and power points. Breakfast and lunch are served in the open thatched dining room overlooking the watering hole, while dinner is served in traditional African style around a log fire in the boma. During the day guests can relax on the patio in the shade of a century-old Weeping Boer Bean tree or cool down in the swimming pool. At night the camp is transformed into an African wonderland with kerosene flares, creating a true safari ambience.

Over the next four days early morning, late afternoon or evening game drives are conducted in open air 4x4 vehicles with qualified and experienced field rangers and trackers, ensuring an exciting and informative safari. In your spare time you may also take a guided bush walk on foot to open up the fascinating world of some of South Africa's intricate ecosystems with its varied fauna and flora.

After your last morning safari and breakfast, it’s time to check out. You will be transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport in time for your flight via Johannesburg, where you will connect with your overnight flight home to Australia.
