By placing a booking with us, you acknowledge the following important information:

• we act as your booking agent: TripADeal is a booking services provider, and curates the Travel Offers available on our website. We act as your booking agent, and we receive payment for the Booking Services as part of the booking price, however, we do not provide any of the Travel Services (flights, accommodation, tours or other products or services) included in your booking – the Travel Services are provided by a number of third party Travel Suppliers.
• each booking is unique: our Travel Offers are made up of a variety of different components and are, during the booking process, uniquely tailored to suit your requirements, for example, departure dates and ports, flight and room upgrades, tour inclusions, etc.
• changes/modifications to your booking may not be possible: once your booking has been made, changes or modifications may not be possible, and where possible, may incur a fee. It is important to ensure that the information you provide during the booking process is accurate and up to date, and that you read the Travel Offer carefully before placing your order.

• our Travel Offers are generally non-refundable: in order to provide great value Travel Offers, we work with a variety of Travel Suppliers to find the best deals – this often means the Travel Suppliers’ offerings are non-refundable to ensure the best price. We recommend that you obtain travel insurance as soon as you make a booking with us.

It is your responsibility to be travel-ready and ensure you comply with any destination or travel requirements, including obtaining all of the required travel documents.

For Australian citizens, check your visa requirements online at Smartraveller or the respective embassy or consulate. As visa rules are subject to change, please check with the relevant embassy or consulate once you receive your documentation to ensure you have the latest information.

Passengers who are not Australian citizens must also check with the respective consulate or visa agency to determine what their visa requirements are and what personal identification is required.

We suggest you start arranging your visa well in advance of departure to account for any delays due to consulate operating timeframes. TripADeal is not responsible for any passenger’s failure to obtain a visa or if you obtain an incorrect visa.

• Infants on board
  Infants under one year* are admitted on board, except for cruises of 11 nights or longer, when they must be at least one year. This policy is due to long cruises often having multiple days at sea, which can impede our ability to provide urgent medical care for infants.
• Minors on board
  Generally, MSC Cruises does not permit minors (those under 21 on U.S. itineraries, or under 18 on others) to occupy a stateroom without the presence of at least one adult. To be considered an adult, passengers must be 18 or 21 years old at the time of embarkation, depending on the itinerary.
  
  However, an exception applies for minors under 18 traveling with one parent or legal guardian, provided the following conditions are met:
  • The parent/legal guardian must specifically request at the time of booking that the minors be assigned a stateroom without an adult and sign a liability waiver. This waiver must be submitted to the Contact Center and taken with the guest for embarkation. Waivers will not be provided at the terminal.
  • The parent/guardian is traveling with two to five minors.
  • The stateroom is occupied by either one minor aged 12 or older, or two minors, with the eldest at least 12 and the youngest at least eight.
  • No more than two minors may occupy a stateroom without an adult.
• For MSC Lirica, Musica, and Fantasia class ships:
  • Parent/guardian and minors must stay in connecting staterooms, and the balcony of the minors' stateroom will be locked.
• For all other MSC ships:
  • The parent or legal guardian and the minor(s) shall be accommodated in connecting staterooms with the minor stateroom’s balcony being locked or in interior adjacent staterooms**.
  • The parent or legal guardian shall be required to purchase a wristband to have access to the stateroom occupied by the minor(s) at any time during the cruise. The wristband along with an informative flyer will be delivered to the parent/legal guardian’s stateroom and the cost will be charged to the parent’s/legal guardian’s onboard account.
• Traveling Alone on U.S. Itineraries
  Travelers of all nationalities must be at least 21 years old to travel alone on cruises embarking from or traveling to the U.S. However, guests aged 18–20 may stay in a stateroom alone if traveling with a parent or legal guardian, without needing to meet the additional stateroom requirements.

* Infants are permitted on 11-night cruises or longer only if they turn one year old on or before the day of embarkation.
** “Adjacent staterooms” is defined as two staterooms, at least one without a balcony, which have no more than 3 staterooms between them, and that pertain to the same assembly station and corridor. “Connecting staterooms” is defined as two staterooms that are connected by an internal door.
